Sorry Bush administration, but the public doesn't want its tax dollars being paid to terrorists

The Washington Times reports that the Bush administration's attempts at trying to support Hamas in spite of the fact that it's a terrorist organization are starting to show:
LONDON -- The United States and its allies said yesterday that they would support the new Hamas-led Palestinian government only if it renounces violence, accepts Israel's existence and adopts the Palestinian Authority's commitments.
Sorry, Bush and company, but it's illegal to support terrorist groups, and if you're going to indicate that you're willing to provide support for Hamas, then you're running the risk of implying that, were the al Qaeda elected to run a government in the mideast, that you'd be willing to support them too.

A Hamas leader in Syria said this:
...Mohammed Nazzal, a Hamas leader in Damascus, the Syrian capital, told the Al Arabiya television network, "The Americans and the European Union are dreaming if they think they can force us to change our positions."
And no matter what they say to the MSM, they won't.

Condi Rice also shows that the US and the EU are still apparently intent on giving money to the PLO, in spite of the fact that they too are as undeserving as Hamas:
In London, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice suggested that the United States would join the European Union in continuing financial aid to the Palestinian Authority at least through the transitional period until Hamas takes over.
"There is a commitment here to try and live up to the obligations that were undertaken to the caretaker government, which [Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas] oversees," she told reporters after the meeting.
EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said that it could take up to three months for a new Palestinian government to form and that EU funding would continue at least until then.
Natually, they ignore all the encouragement by the PA for terrorism over their TV and radio, in their schools and mosques, which results in rocket launchings and rifle shootings from Gaza, including shots fired at soldiers near kibbutz Nir Am, and an attack on kibbutz Yad Mordechai near Ashkelon two weeks ago:
19:03 Jan 18, '06 / 18 Tevet 5766

(IsraelNN.com) Arab terrorists fired two Kassam rockets this evening to the north of the Gaza Strip. The rockets landed in an open area near Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, about three miles south of Ashkelon.

There were no injuries or damage reported in the attack, at least the sixth of its kind on the southern kibbutz in one week.
But that doesn't mean it couldn't happen. Yet the would-be allies of Israel, in all their utter arrogance, ignore those details.

Those who don't want their tax dollars being given to these terrorist organizations would be well advised to contact Congress about it.

In another report on the Hamas, Captain's Quarters finds the ultra-leftist Washington Post giving op-ed space to an indicted terrorist, Mousa Abu Marzook. This means that the Post is a pro-terrorist and Judeophobic newspaper. Another reason why the crummy newspaper, which makes its city counterpart, The Wash. Times, look like a masterpiece by comparison, should not be bought.
