Israel, much like the fortress of Tel-Chai that Jospeh Trumpeldor fought to defend against Arab conquerors in 1920, finds itself beseiged by enemies both within and without. Terrorists, would-be friends inside and outside Israel, and even bad government officials. Here are the discussions of one proud Zionist resident on the state of the nation and abroad.
I couldn't agree more that the Denial of Service attacks are stupid. However, if Michelle Malkin was shut down for posting links to the cartoons there's a valid argument there that they were preventing people seeing stereotypes inciting intolerance. I know that's only 1 of the 12 cartoons, but that's still incitement. like Dr seuss said about one of his elephants. "an elephant's an elephant no matter how big and no matter how small. Ditto for incitement. I think we can both agree that hacking and crashing Hamas and Islamic Jihad's servers would be acceptable, right? We limit freedoms where they impede on other people's.
to lecentre: Huh? Trying to dress the criminal DoS attack on Michelle Malkin's in moral garb -- coming as it does from Islamofascists? Not buying that tripe for a moment, my friend. You obviously have a truncated and distorted view of freedom of the press. Comparing Michelle Malkin to Hamas as moral equivalents tells me that you have been breathing that polluted PC political air for too long. Regards, gunjam

On a related note, you might be interested in this piece on Iran, Hamas, and recognition of Israel (hint: Hamas does recognize Israel...).
Thanks for the topic. You've got some very good points.
