One Jerusalem presents more examples of how Dubya acts utterly oblivious to the PLO and Mahmoud Abbas' evil:

On a day when Abbas refused to demand that Hamas and Islamic Jihad disarm, the President of the United States declared that Abbas, "has made a commitment to fight off violence, because he understands a democracy can't exist with terrorist groups trying to take the law into their hands."

With this response to a reporter's question following the expression of similar sentiments yesterday ("President Abbas has rejected violence and taken steps toward democratic reform.") President Bush has confirmed that he stands behind Condi Rice's declarations that praise the Palestinians for things they have not done and fail to reiterate that they must produce results on the fighting terrorism front in response to Israel's controversial withdrawal. Bush certainly pushed the envelope when he equated Israel and the Palestinians:"Both Israelis and Palestinians have elected governments committed to peace and progress..." This would be laughable if the words did not come from the American President.

Both Dubya and Condi have really gone off the rails lately, as even this report shows. The American and Israeli publics alike would be strongly advised not to let the Bush administration deceive them as they are with such appalling ignorance of the situation at hand.
