The nightmares they'll put you through for bread (Updated with corrections)

Update: as Withstand the Fury's Lair points out, this was apparently a staged event, but was still exploitation, as explained below.

It would seem as if the cannibals of Iran went and abused an 8-year-old because he wanted food to eat. (H/T: Euphoric Reality.) But, while this may have been a staged event, as Jihad/Dhimmi Watch and Little Green Footballs explain, this is some loony looking show put on in which it's made to seem as if the boy is being run over by a car tire. The following letter from LGF may clear it up:
Hi!
It seems you have not read the text that came with the pictures.
In irna there some who earn their bread by Maareke giry. In our case one
of these maarke gir _ha had hired a kid to do those unhuman show.
You read the text that came with photos.
bye
Then, as WTFL says:
Well, it appears that I was hasty. The photos that I had mentioned in a previous post turned out to have been misattributed by someone looking to make a statement. Robert over at Dhimmi Watch has some information and links to articles that explain that, as sick and graphic as the event in the photos actually is, it is apparently a staged event, done for money.

That's right...apparently, in Iran, someone peddles a child's arm being run over with a car as a form of street-side entertainment.

So...my mistake -- I was hasty, and I've taken the post off of the front page of the site. It is still published (no point in hiding my mistakes) but it is no longer "headline news".
Okay, so this particular item may not have been as bad as it looked. But, as Jihad/Dhimmi Watch points out:
Make no mistake, however: Sharia is a reality. Amputation is a reality. The inauthenticity of one set of photos should not be taken by the defenders of Sharia as proof that inhuman brutality does not exist within lands that obey it.
As for the sideshow, let us be clear that, while it may have just been that, it is still exploitation/manipulation in its own way, namely, of children, and certainly insulting to them, and is not acceptable at any place or time. And everybody concerned had a right to feel that way, and it's good that they took notice. This way, whatever the case turns out to be, it helps to know what to think and do.

Plus, exploitation of children, whatever the case involving the child in Iran may be, as explained by the following report, it still seems to be becoming a common theme in the Arab/Islamic world:
A child thought to be just ten years old, wearing an explosives belt, has died in a roadside explosion at the al-Quds intersection, near the oil rich city of Kirkuk. The 'suicide' attack occurred as a car carrying a senior Iraqi police official, Colonel Khatab, passed by. The official and his driver were wounded and are being treated in hospital. The report of such a young child being used for terror attacks comes as the US military issued a report showing how difficult it can be for its soldiers to prevent roadside bombs....
There have also been at least two cases in Israel of children being exploited by the PLO/Fatah for suicide bombing, and the above is exactly the same thing.

And the photos from Faith Freedom are most definitely real, so remember this: if the terror-advocating Islamists are capable of using youngsters as pawns in suicide bombing, then they're quite capable of amputating an arm or a leg from children as well.
