More terrorist attacks took place this week

As Ariel Sharon puts together his new party called Kadima, he simultaneously neglects security requirements. As this report says:
As Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's new Kadima Party announced its platform of partitioning the Land of Israel Monday, Arab terror attacks surged across the country.

Kassam rockets fired from PA-controlled Gaza slammed into a field near a southern Israeli community early in the day. No injuries resulted and the IDF offered no response.

Later in the day, another barrage of rocket fire resulted in one rocket damaging a home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Miraculously, no injuries resulted, as the parents were visiting neighbors and the children had just entered the home as the rocket struck the front yard. Members of the predominately left-wing kibbutz were outraged that the Red Dawn early-warning system, installed by the government, failed to go off prior to the rockets' impact.
More on terrorist attacks that have been taking place here:
Over the past 24 hours, a terrorist attack was foiled, Kassam rockets were fired, firebombs were hurled, terrorists rioted, PA police fired on an IDF unit, and more.

IDF forces arrested a prominent Islamic Jihad terrorist last night in the Shomron. He was planning a suicide attack in Israel for the next few days, after having been involved in the recent Hadera market attack in which six Jews were murdered. Another five terrorists were arrested along with him.

An IDF force uncovered, southwest of Jericho, four packages of submachine gun ammunition. Two fragmentation grenades and 1,000 bullets were found, and were safely detonated by IDF sappers.

PA police fired at an IDF undercover unit in Bethlehem, causing no injuries. The PA force claimed it mistook the Israelis for armed Arabs. The soldiers fired in the air, and another Israeli force arrived on the scene and helped them escape.

Islamic Jihad prisoners in an Israeli prison rioted Monday night, protesting the transfer of one of their number to another jail. Thirty soldiers and jailers were injured, and two Arabs were taken to a hospital.

On Monday, Kassam rockets fired from PA-controlled Gaza slammed into a field near a southern Israeli community. No injuries resulted and the IDF offered no response. Later in the day, another barrage of rocket fire resulted in one rocket damaging a home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Members of the kibbutz were outraged that the government's Red Dawn early-warning system failed to go off prior to the rockets' impact.
And rightfully so. This is what's come from Sharon's appeasement minus any limits.

Update: there is also this very disturbing and, be forewarned, graphic video that was recorded by the Islamic Jihad that shows a beheaded Israeli in it, that's been distributed on the internet (Hat tip: SerandEz). Another sign that the so-called "palestinians" are not people who deserve legitimacy.

Another update: Here's a topic from My Right Word that discusses how Martin Indyk of the State Dept. thinks that things are just fine for Israel following Sharon's retreat from Gaza in August.

Thanks for the link!

Sorry I got lazy in my roundup extravaganza recently... I only linked to your blog and not some of your posts as I was planning to originally.

As always, you've got great stuff... Curious what you think of the new open trackback policy. I'm sure it will affect your status, though doing them still does get your material out there. That's how I found you.

btw, it's SerandEz, not SeraandEz. Really, you're not wrong (Ser is short for Serach), but just thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for the correction in the name combination, I'll try to correct it soon.

On the new policy at TTLB, I do hope it doesn't affect things too much for any of us, as it certainly comes in quite helpful in letting people know about all the many interesting subjects being spoken about across the blogosphere. The IRIS Blog's also got an excellent idea by contributing to the trackback parties as well.
