There's a reason why a victory against the Hezbollah could be hard to achieve
Ralph Peters writes in the New York Post (H/T: One Jerusalem) that Israel cannot score a victory against the Hezbollah the way it's fighting. Well, the answer to that is - dovish leaders/politicians in the form of Ehud Olmert and Amir Peretz are the problem. Whatever goes on now, they themselves have wanted retreat and weakness. Is it any surprise then that victory against the Hezbollah is hard to achieve? It's not really the problem with the EU, or even the Dubya administration, it's with the Israeli leaders themselves.
