Segolene Royal loses in the big debate
Segolene Royal, the socialist candidate for presidency in France, made another mistake last night during the televised debate between her and Nicholas Sarkozy when she lost her temper at one point. There's reason to believe that her advisors told her to act aggressively and be angry, as her act almost seemed rehearsed (which doesn't make it any better, of course). Nidra Poller (via Tammy Bruce) points out how Royal really blew it in her part of the televised debate. I saw some of it myself the other night, and she was really appalling. Sarkozy was the winner last night and he managed his part with relish.
