Former female prime minister of Pakistan murdered

More unraveling of the mideast, as Benazir Bhutto, one of the most standout female politicians is murdered in a terrorist attack. From Sky News (via Hot Air):
Pakistan Opposition leader Benazir Bhutto has died after a suicide attack at a political rally.

She was undergoing emergency surgery at a nearby hospital for a suspected neck injury, Sky News sources say.

The explosion went off just after Ms Bhutto left the rally in Rawalpindi, minutes after her speech to thousands of people.

At least 15 people died in the attack in the heart of Pakistan’s military and parliamentary district.
There are different accounts of how the terrorist may have murdered her. According to this article, it may have been pellets from the bomb itself that struck her, but according to this one from the Daily Mail, the terrorist shot her at close range before letting off the bomb.

It's very tragic indeed, that a woman with common sense in a world full of tyrants should fall. Update: or was she? I just came across some very disturbing info provided by Debbie Schlussel, that shows that not only was Bhutto an Arafat supporter, she also supported the Taliban. Some more info here too.

Now, realizing this, I think I'm going to have to reevaluate my positions on Bhutto, and consider the fact that her death was no true loss for anybody with common sense.

Update 2: David Warren in the Ottawa Citizen also explains how Bhutto was no hero. Also available at his website. Hot Air readers have taken notice as well.
