Bad election results in 3 places

The Muslim Brotherhood's candidate in Egypt has won the majority vote, and the military may end up handing over power to him.
To make matters worse, in France, the socialists won the majority of the Assembly, and it looks like this was due in part to a low turnout. Are people in France really that down and discouraged they allowed this to happen?
And in Greece, the pro-bailout New Democracy party won the majority vote. I don't know if that was due to low turnout as it appears to have been in France, but that too is very sad.
And it tells that things could be getting a lot worse from here.
