Dhimmitude in Cergy, France
A mosque has been built in Cergy, France, where the interior minister has said (via Atlas Shrugs):
'It is our responsibility to progressively build a French Islam, one that will find put down roots in our country,'' said Interior Minister Manuel Valls, who attended the opening of the mosque. ''This was made possible by two things: Muslim unity, and political will,'' Socialist Mayor Dominique Lefebvre said.At this point I'm tempted to say that Nicholas Sarkozy ought to be proud of himself for prompting this kind of response, since he was the one who said they should build an Islam for France, which is only the same as all others. More precisely though, he should be ashamed of himself for leading to all the embarrassments - and danger for the public - that's going to happen.
