In this item on The Forward, it's told how the Haredi residents of Modiin Illit caused a needless rift with the main Modiin, which is mainly non-Haredi in residents, first by attempting to dominate Anabe Park during the Succot holiday with their segregationist mindset, and then by declaring an archaeological site over in Illit off-limits to non-Haredi visitors.
