Aryeh Deri wants socialist welfare given to Muslims just as much as Haredis

The awful Shas leader drew a peculiar moral equivalence between Haredis and Muslims in his insistence that welfare be doled out, even though the Haredis can't be coddled themselves:
The State's budget and economic policy were at the heart of a no-confidence motion filed Monday by the opposition parties.

Addressing the plenum, Shas chairman Aryeh Deri slammed the government, specifically the Yesh Atid party and its leader, Finance Minister Yair Lapid. "This is what we have to do: We must turn to Knesset members from the coalition and ask them to please be more compassionate," Deri said.

"Every day we see what this budget will do to families, and what we have to deal with. There is no proportion. NIS 7.2 billion ($1.98 billion) is the budget of all the child care in Israel and NIS 4 billion ($1.1 billion) will be deducted," he said.

Deri further added: "The child support budget, why would you care, it's mainly for haredim and Arabs. Don't the haredi and Arab sectors need to feed their children? We will find ourselves at the International Court of Justice. You are jeopardizing human rights."
Yeah, I know he didn't actually mention Islam here, but that's who welfare would benefit the most, and not in a good way. Of course every sector needs to feed its children well, but that's why they need to work to earn the money for it!

And is he saying he'd turn to such a dishonest outfit as the ICJ if they don't have their way? Maybe not, but he most certainly is exaggerating the idea that the government is violating human rights. What a most disrespectful man he's being.
