Aryeh Deri returns to Shas, surprising nobody
I almost forgot, but the corrupt head of Shas has returned 2 weeks after the embarrassing video with Ovadia Yosef saying he doesn't approve of Deri. And what does Deri say now in defense of his boomerang?
"All my life, I was raised and educated to follow the instructions of the rabbis, and so, after a difficult period of weighing various considerations personally and with my family, I decided that the Shas movement -- the movement of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef of blessed memory -- and its hundreds of thousands of voters are more important than any other consideration."But how important is Deri to the aforementioned? It clearly doesn't matter to the Shas rabbis. Let's hope it will matter to the electorate and they won't be taken in this time, because Deri is one awful sellout in politics.
