The education ministry's granting a lifetime achievement award to a guy who helped improve the status of Jewish residence on Jerusalem's east side, after many years since Muslim invaders originally took it over in the late 1940s:
Education Minister Naftali Bennett announced Thursday the winners of the Israel Prize for Lifetime Achievement: Israel Tzvi (Tzvika) Levy and David (known to all as 'Davideleh') Be'eri. [...]
Bennett spoke of Tzvika Levy's achievement: "Reserve Col. Zvika Levi is the one of the finest sons our country has produced - a Zionist role model, but above all a father to thousands of isolated soldiers who found in him an address [to turn to], while he was father, mother, listener, friend, and brother for them. Tzvika's life work encompasses our values as a society, and is a tremendous contribution to the unity of the society and the security of Israel."
Congratulations to him! He certainly accomplished a lot.
