British judiciary's selfishness leads to doomed infant

A British couple whose infant son was suffering a terrible disease, and whom the government prevented from getting better treatment for, domestically or overseas, has now been doomed by their encroachment (via Hot Air):
A few hours earlier, the parents, Connie Yates and Chris Gard, dropped their legal battle to send their child to the United States for the treatment, acknowledging that the window of opportunity to help him had closed.

Recent tests found Charlie has irreversible muscular damage. [...]

The couple had been fighting for months for permission to take Charlie to the United States for medical treatment. But Great Ormond Street Hospital in had argued it would not help and may cause him pain.
The only ones who caused pain were the court representatives themselves. They have blood on their hands. Come to think of it, the UK government is no less responsible for this travesty, preventing a couple from trying to save their son's health. This is a most notorious example of state-imposed prerogatives and the twisted view they hold on life. It's another demonstration of just how revolting the UK's MO can be. Here's more on Breitbart about the subject.
