Ultra-orthodox man from Bnei Brak arrested for making threats against Reform Judaists
A man from the haredi Orthodox town of Bnei Brak was indicted for making death threats against leaders of the Reform movement and for vandalizing a Reform synagogue. And that's not all that's disturbing. What's additionally offensive was that he wanted to give an anti-Israel movement ammunition to use against the country, much like that disgusting creature called Yishai Schlissel did when he attacked the LGBT march 2 years ago:
The man, whose name has not been made public, was arrested last month and prosecutors asked Monday that he be held in custody until the end of his trial.
He was indicted Monday on charges of extortion, threats, vandalism, and intent to commit arson.
He allegedly also targeted the left-wing Breaking the Silence organization and threatened well-known atheists in Israel. So again, whoever the filthy being is, he even had the revolting gall to give ammo to a leftist outfit? With the added irony, to be sure, of not willing to serve in the army himself. Here's some more:
According to the indictment, the suspect vandalized a Reform community center in Raanana and purchased gasoline with the intention of torching the offices of the far-left anti-IDF NGO Breaking the Silence. And in this article, it says:
The suspect also sent threatening letters to a number of Reform Movement leaders in the US and Israel, including Rick Jacobs and Gilad Kariv. Threatening letters were also sent to Women of the Wall founder Anat Hoffman, secularist writer Yaakov Malkin, and anthropologist Dr. Dan Boneh, author of Never Happened.
In 2014, the suspect called Dr. Boneh, demanding he drop a planned appearance at a conference of the Israeli Atheists Association, threatening him if he did not comply.
An Israeli man has been charged over a string of death threats and vandalism targeting a Reform congregation, atheists and Jewish humanists that included leaving large knives with red inscriptions outside the homes and offices of his targets. [...]Wow...he really was a product of Islamic influence, wasn't he? Because that's what his crap sounds like. He did something truly shameful, and at this point I wouldn't be shocked if he were some kind of agent provocateur who wanted to give leftists ammunition to use against Zionists. A possible way to deal with such a filthy animal is to make him do community service, cleaning up the mess he left at the Reform synagogue, and maybe serving in the army, where, should he commit a boo-boo, he can face severe prosecution from a military tribunal. Did he even consider that his abominable acts have probably boosted the number of Reform congregants in Israel over the years? Ironically, that's probably what he wanted, ditto to help the anti-Israelists and their own repellent platforms.
The letters warned their recipients to halt their work and flee Israel, or face "a terribly bad" situation, and also threatened that they "will be fought with sword and blood, and not with words and speeches ..."
