Another terrorist attack in France, in the eastern city of Strasbourg, and again by a criminal already known to authorities, and another one who yelled a familiar call:

Strasbourg terror suspect Cherif C. is still on the run from police but new information has revealed that he has 27 prior criminal convictions and yelled “Allahu Akbar” during the attack which led to the death of two people, the brain death of another, and several injuries.

The new information was revealed Wednesday at a press conference by France’s anti-terror prosecutor Rémy Heitz who said that witnesses had observed the suspect yelling “Allahu Akbar” as he fired upon the crowd at the Strasbourg Christmas market on Tuesday evening, France24 reports.

According to French broadcaster BFMTV, the 29-year-old suspect, who was born in Strasbourg, has had a total of 27 prior criminal convictions including convictions for violent robbery, the earliest occurring when the suspect was only 10 years old.

Investigators have also said that the crimes did not occur in just France, noting he had also committed crimes in both Germany and Switzerland as well.

Following his last release from prison, the 29-year-old was placed on a terror watch list after it was believed that he had been radicalised while behind bars.

It's clear their steps failed entirely, because of the militant political correctness imposed upon the country. The culprit may have even fled to Germany:

Security sources revealed Strasbourg terror suspect Cherif Chekatt received a call from a German number moments before the deadly attack on a Christmas market in France.

The sources said Chekatt, 29, had received the call just before gunning down tourists and shoppers at the world-famous Christmas market but did not answer, according to Deutsche Welle.

The call could provide authorities with clues as to his connections and to whom he may have fled if he crossed the nearby border from France into Germany.

A further revelation came from a neighbour, speaking to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity, who said she saw Chekatt, who she said was rarely at home, speaking to an unknown man in the hallway on Monday, the day before the attack.

The Strasbourg-born suspect is still on the run after the deadly shooting which took place at around 8 pm local time on Tuesday. Witnesses told authorities that he yelled “Allah hu Akbar” (“my god is greater [than your god]) as he opened fire, killing two, causing brain death in another, and injuring a further 12 — six of whom are said to be fighting for their lives in hospital.

Chekatt was shot by police, but managed to escape in a taxi-cab immediately after what authorities are treating as a terror attack.

Even before the terrorist attack, there was a case of antisemitic vandalism at a Jewish cemetery in Strasbourg. This incident also proves severe gun control cannot stop these monsters but certainly can prevent innocents from defending themselves. A serious call must be made to remedy this situation.

Update: the Israeli government's announced their condolences for the victims of the attack.
