Cornell university's one of the repulsive places to be

The following investigation (via Accuracy In Media) reveals they have some very disgusting students there:
The Cornell University student who became notorious for declaring that he would not work for “a Jew” revealed the broader extent of his antisemitism in an undercover conversation published last week, discussing Holocaust denial, racial hierarchy, and conspiracies about Jewish power with a woman he believed shared his views.

“It might not have been the smartest thing to say,” Austin Franco told an undercover investigator working for Accuracy in Media, referring to the message he sent the Jewish founders of a rental-technology startup. “But the reaction was overwhelming, not equal to what I said. I thought I was being nice. This is why I don’t want to work for them.”

Franco, 19, claimed that his hostility toward Jews intensified after he was fired from a job by a Jewish supervisor, describing the episode as a turning point that pushed him toward online personalities and publications promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories and Holocaust denial.

“You just have to lay the cards on the table and realize there is no way you’re getting to power — I mean, unless you want to wear the little hat, right? Kiss the wall,” he said. Franco then recommended a Substack writer whose work he described as interesting, while acknowledging that he did not necessarily believe everything the author said about Jews and the Holocaust.

Franco also discussed supposed racial differences in intelligence, arguing that Black people should accept being intellectually inferior to other groups even while outperforming them athletically.
Absolutely obscene. They seem to have quite a few students and professors there who're really pulling some bigoted atrocities, including on subjects like October 7, 2023. Why anybody believes you have to attend a university in order to learn things that could just as well be studied at home is mystifying. Of course, it could also be asked how we allow these universities to continue being under whatever irresponsible ownership they're under, and why nobody sensible wants to buy them out. Something must be thought of in order to buy out these universities if that's what it takes to put an end to these atrocities there.

Curtis Sliwa offends 911 Families, and indicates he's pro-Islam

I think the following disgust makes clear why Sliwa lost the election for NYC mayor almost 2 years ago:
Curtis Sliwa on Thursday told relatives of 9/11 victims who want New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani kept away from this year’s Ground Zero commemoration to “stop being sore losers,” arguing that they should respect the office even if they disagree with the person holding it.

“He’s the mayor. Stop being sore losers!” Sliwa told reporters
Thursday. “You knew this is Zohran Mamdani. He was never a fake, phony, fraudulent, fugazi like a lot of politicians. He told you who he was.”
And what does that mean? Does Sliwa actually believe 911 Families voted for Mamdani?!? Or is Sliwa saying that because Mamdani made some of his repellent beliefs and platforms known, they should've literally accepted that a whole segment of NYC's populace would turn traitor by voting for him? I'm not sure what exactly Sliwa's driving at here, but the following should be telling something:
Sliwa also revisited a controversial exchange involving Cuomo and radio host Sid Rosenberg during the closing stretch of the 2025 mayoral campaign.

Rosenberg had joked with Cuomo, who was running as an independent, that Mamdani would cheer for the terrorists if another September 11 attack occurred while he held office. Cuomo chuckled before responding, “That’s another problem.”

Sliwa said Thursday that the comment damaged Cuomo politically at a moment when the former governor had been gaining momentum.

“He was gaining traction, and then he made that stupid remark and then didn’t handle it well,” Sliwa said. “And then Zohran exploited the hell out of it, as he should.”

“That was Islamophobic,” Sliwa added.
This says all you need to know what's wrong with Sliwa, and explains perfectly why he never discussed Mamdani in his own interview on Rosenberg's program. Now, maybe Rosenberg's the one who actually made a mistake there by joking about a serious topic, but it's bizarre how Sliwa doesn't seem to notice, and only seems interested in Cuomo. One of the commentors on the article said:
By using the word "Islamophobic" Sliwa has lost all credibility. As anyone with a functional brain knows it is simply a term of manipulation and abuse.

I always thought there was something really fishy about Sliwa
.

He's just another two-bit political poser who will say or do whatever he has to for a photo-op or sound-bite.

His disrespect for those who lost family members in the 9-11 attack by Islam reveals what an iniquitous TOAD he really is
.

Henceforth thou shalt be known as Slime-bag Sliwa!!!
For all we know, Sliwa was quite possibly helping Mamdani secretly during the election. Sliwa's made clear that as an alleged Republican, he's a poor example for a mayoral candidate, and it's to be hoped his repulsive attack on 911 Families will end his career aspirations. I hesitate to think if Sliwa would've helped build up Islam's presence in NYC more than it already is now. Another commentor said:
Curtis, calling 9/11 families “sore losers” is disgraceful. They didn’t lose an election. They lost husbands, wives, sons, daughters, fathers, and mothers to Islamist terrorists.

I visited Ground Zero when it was still essentially two enormous holes in the ground. I saw some foreigners standing in front of it smiling for pictures with a disposable camera. You don’t get it comrade.

Seeing people smiling for pictures in front of the place where nearly 3,000 people had just been murdered enraged me. I grabbed the camera, threw it over the fence, yelled at them, and Americans around me cheered.

You want to stand in front of the place where 3,000 Americans were murdered and treat it like a smiling tourist photo op? Go fK yourself.

And spare me the “Islamophobic” label. Criticizing Mamdani’s associations, or objecting to Hasan Piker saying America “deserved 9/11,” is not hatred of Muslims. Calling criticism “Islamophobia” does not answer the criticism.

You say we should “respect the office.” Fine. Start by respecting the dead and the families who buried them. America is not FOR you comrade.
Sliwa certainly made a pariah of himself. For all we know, he's probably of the Tucker Carlson crowd. He has no business representing NYC on anything, and he's disgraced the Guardian Angels security patrol movement he co-founded in the 1970s. If there's anybody else who doesn't belong anywhere near the 911 Memorial service, it's Sliwa.

If Piker's not sorry for what he says about Israel, then he's not sorry for what he said about the USA either

Hasan Piker's one of the most repulsive influencers in the Democrat party now, and what's told here should make clear nothing he says should be taken at face value:
Hasan Piker, a 35-year-old American streamer who broadcasts on Twitch to millions of followers, is one of the rising voices in Democratic politics. He describes himself as a Marxist, has said America "deserved 9/11," called for Zionists to be treated like neo-Nazis and declared that he would choose Hamas over Israel "every single time."

In recent months, he has moved from the screen to the campaign trail, becoming a prominent figure in Abdul El-Sayed's campaign. El-Sayed won Michigan's Democratic US Senate primary last week and could become the first Muslim elected to the US Senate. [...]

Despite his Marxist politics, the business he runs is thoroughly capitalist. According to Rolling Stone, nearly 50,000 subscribers pay $6 a month for his channel. After Twitch takes its 30% cut, that translates into more than $2 million in annual revenue.
Then he's obviously as much a grifter as he is an enemy of the USA and Israel. And no doubt, he harbors the same sentiments towards Europe (which has its own share of self-haters too).
The remark most closely associated with Piker came in August 2019, during a livestream in which he watched Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw being interviewed by Joe Rogan. Piker mocked Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who lost his right eye to an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan, and referred to the fighter who wounded him as a "brave soldier."

"America deserved 9/11, dude,"
Piker said during the same broadcast. "Fuck it, I'm saying it. We totally brought it upon ourselves." Only after two days of criticism did he walk the comment back in an interview with his uncle, Cenk Uygur, calling the remark "inappropriate" and describing it as a failed attempt at satire.

Blatant anti-Israel rhetoric

When it comes to Israel, however, Piker has not backed down. In January, he wrote on X that "Hamas is a thousand times better than a fascist settler-colonial apartheid state." When confronted with the statement in April on Pod Save America, one of the most influential podcasts in Democratic politics, he refused to soften it. "I stand by that," he said.
In that case, he's not sorry for what he said about the USA either. Some of these monsters pretend certain things if they think it'll cause people to lose interest in them, but it's not so simple, and men like Piker can always continue causing damage behind the scenes. And they can always boomerang back on their previous obscenities, along with concocting more horrific ones.

Here's some more about the podcasts Piker's been speaking on lately, and he's continued to make offensive statements, and now tries to make it sound like he's "walking back" what he said earlier, even though his excuses are very weak:
Anti-American streamer Hasan Piker said he “should have phrased things better” discussing his viral comments that America deserved 9/11 on Mehdi Hasan’s podcast two weeks ago.

The Hill reported on the podcast appearance, where Piker said he “could’ve phrased the statement ‘America deserved 9/11’ in a better way but held firm to his frequent use of “pejoratives” in describing racial groups.
One more clue why this is a most truly disgusting man who has no business being in politics any more than el-Sayed. Tragically, it's sadly possible that the latter will be elected to the Senate, and that's going to be very awful if it happens. And "satire"? That's one of the most repellent "defenses" possible to make. It's utterly sick. Piker shouldn't be allowed near the 911 Memorial any more than Zohran Mamdani.

Financial manager of SPLC arrested for fraud

More news about the now disgraced Southern Poverty Law Center, whose finance manager was arrested for fraud:
Former Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) chief financial officer Heidi Beirich was arrested in California and charged in the Justice Department’s case alleging that the organization secretly used donor money to pay informants inside white supremacist groups, CNN exclusively reported Wednesday.

Beirich, who previously led SPLC efforts to monitor organizations it identified as extremist or white supremacist, was charged in a superseding indictment with wire fraud conspiracy, conspiracy to submit false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to conceal money laundering, according to CNN.

Prosecutors allege Beirich helped oversee the use of donor funds to compensate sources operating inside extremist organizations. They also allege she shared a bank account with one of those sources while the two were in a romantic relationship.

“I believe she was part of the effort to open bank accounts in completely fictitious companies’ names and make payments to individuals for reasons that were not accurate as described,” Attorney General Todd Blanche said at a Wednesday news conference. “This is exactly what we said would happen in a case like this, which is that our investigators and the U.S. attorneys and the agents working the case will keep on working it even after the initial indictment.”
Some of these phony outfits certainly are some of the worst monetary fraudsters around. Now, one of their awful staff is facing consequences for her own involvement in illegal activities.

Zohran Mamdani's rhetoric created a dangerous atmosphere for Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to UN

NYC's first Muslim mayor has created a situation that disturbs the NYPD, because of the security issues it now entails:
New York City is bracing for a security nightmare next month when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits Gotham — and cops are blaming Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

The PM’s visist will now necessitate a massive, presidential-level police shield and furious NYPD sources told The Post that Mamdani’s reckless, anti-Bibi obsession emboldens radical agitators, leaving frontline cops and everyday New Yorkers squarely in the crosshairs.

“Basically, he’s making what would be considered a Category 1 hurricane that we deal with every year into a Category 5 because of his words,”
a law enforcement source said.

Hizzoner is staunchly pro-Palestine and anti-Israel and called for Netanyahu’s arrest during his 2025 mayoral campaign.

He reiterated those threats last month
before acknowledging the NYPD doesn’t have the authority to do so.

Mamdani then urged his radical base to “take to the streets” during Netanyahu’s visit, saying “one of the bedrocks of our city is protest.”

That has enraged many police officers who already have their work cut out for them, the law enforcement source said.

“We have to protect hotels, we have to protect wherever [dignitaries] go out to eat, we have to protect everything,” the law enforcement source said. “Having the mayor say, ‘Go ahead and protest, and he should be arrested’ . . . is unfair to your own cops.”

Netanyahu is expected to arrive in the city next month for the United Nations General Assembly and is scheduled to address the body on Sept. 26.

Netanyahu’s full schedule isn’t yet known so the final number of police officers needed for his detail is up in the air, but it could grow to 60 or more with “direct and peripheral” officers, police sources said.

Most dignitaries get a protective detail of one sergeant and eight detectives. Security at the event also includes federal and state agents, usually supplemented by the foreign nation’s own agents.

“What’s going to stop one of the protesters from becoming a vigilante and trying to hurt or God forbid kill him?” the source said.

Cops are also worried that protesters who think they’re acting on the mayor’s behalf “could cause an officer to get hurt or even killed,” the source said.
Mamdani's already caused so much embarrassment for NYC, and the worst part is whomever voted him into office, effectively proving they're okay with one day imposing sharia upon the Big Apple. Now, there's also a situation where danger's been increased for politicians, and for all we know, it could have horrific consequences.

Democrat dhimmitude in Massachusettes

In the state of Massachusettes, the Democrats who sadly dominate want to enact laws favoring Muslims:
Massachusetts Democrats recently sponsored a Senate bill creating a “permanent” government commission “on the status of people who practice Islam,” which would communicate with the government on how legislation affects Muslims and recommend Muslims for government positions.

The Senate committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight reported the bill, No. 2134 “favorably” and referred it to the Joint Committee on Rules, which referred it to the committee on Senate Ways and Means. That committee consists of a majority of democrats.

The commission proposed by the bill would accomplish eight different tasks, including serving as a liaison between the Muslim American community and the government, researching “Islamophobia,” recommending Muslim Americans for positions in the government and undertaking “activities designed to enable the commonwealth to realize the full benefit of the skills, talents and cultural heritage of American Muslims.”
What "cultural heritage" do they truly have exactly? This continued favoratism and doubling down on imposing the same is sickening already. It's another example of how several Democrat-dominated states are going down the drain to impose sharia upon their populace and replace the Constitution with something uncivilized. And they're doing all this about 2 centuries after the state had stopped upholding privileges for Protestants. All that does is make clear the leftists in Massachusettes are doing this because they believe a religion built upon darkness is better than one built on lightness.

Supposedly pro-Israel Democrat defeated by Abdul el-Sayed supports him despite his anti-Israel standings

The Democrats in Michigan held primaries for midterm USA elections, and somehow, it's just not shocking a Muslim candidate like Abdul el-Sayed would win, defeating an allegedly pro-Israel Democrat, Haley Stevens, in the process. But what's really head-shaking is that Stevens is willing to support el-Sayed in the upcoming Congressional elections:
Stevens answered, “Well, look, I don’t speak for Abdul, but I think he knows where I stood on that issue and where I continue to stand. I’m very focused on rebuilding the temple, where many of my friends have their precious children in day school. That was in my congressional district. It remains a serious matter. And I’m going to make sure that the voices and the folks who have been impacted all across Oakland County by that temple bombing and the voices of our Jewish community are heard, and I’m going to do that in the way that my involvement and participation in the American political process allows. Look, let’s be really clear, cause you’re relitigating a primary that’s over, it’s over. I said what I had to say, and I’ll — I stand by what I had to say, to be honest with you, and I believe Abdul heard me. But the deal is is that no American is my enemy. No Republican is my enemy. No Democrat is my enemy. We’ve got to cut this stuff out. We’ve got to start working together. We’ve got to start looking at this country as this beautiful, free place that we love. My views are going to continue to be on display. I’m going to continue to be in this party, speaking out against political violence, speaking out against antisemitic violence, and all forms of political violence and hate, absolutely. And, in the meantime, the competition’s still rolling. I think you guys in the media are going to be coming out to Michigan. This will be exciting. We know you love our state. That’s a good thing. Come and go to our small businesses. We need you there when you’re in town. But we’re going to do something special. This was a special, historic primary. We all know it. Everyone was calling it out, one way or another, that there was going to be a 15-point loss, and that wasn’t the deal. And that’s okay, that these guys had it wrong. And we just showed them the Michigan way, and that’s what we’re going to show you in November when we beat Mike Rogers.”
She may be employing stealth tactics, but when she says she's willing to work to defeat Republican Rogers, that's definitely telling. So what kind of "pro-Israel" Democrat is she anyway? If John Fetterman in Pennsylvania wouldn't back el-Sayed, Stevens shouldn't either. She's rendered her stance laughable and moot.

That aside, this is another sad indicator of where the USA's headed, now facing serious problems with Islamofascists running for public office, and who knows if anything will be done to prevent them from being able to retain the positions they're sadly bound to achieve?

Update: Fox News (via Front Page) reports that el-Sayed got funding from a certain very bad activist group:
Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign has collected more than $115,000 from individuals who work for or have held leadership roles with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which has been designated a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates and formally designated or labeled as such in Florida and Texas.
That's also bad news. Similarly bad is who else in Congress is also supporting el-Sayed's campaign (also via Front Page):
Schumer spoke with El-Sayed Wednesday, calling it a “great conversation” and praising the former Michigan public health official for a “very, very strong campaign” that mobilized Wolverine State voters who hadn’t been involved in politics.

Schumer pledged to “do what it takes to win,” brushing off his deep disagreements with El-Sayed over Israel. Other issues — healthcare, the state of the economy and tariffs — matter more to Michiganders, Schumer added.
Once again, Schumer's proven himself to be as bad, possibly worse, than Stevens is.

Update 2: an Iranian woman who became a lawmaker in Belgium warns about the encroachment of Islam in Michigan.

Federalist writer Eddie Scarry lets his hostility to Israel poke through the seams

Here's another example of how the Federalist's writers are going downhill, as their contributor Eddie Scarry, in pretending neo-cons are truly the ones against J.D. Vance, goes so far as to attack support for Israel from the right-wing side, and perpetuates the RINO opposition to the war on Iran's dictatorship:
Worth slightly more attention is what Thiessen wrote this week in The Washington Post. Recall that Thiessen is the Post content creator and former George W. Bush speechwriter whom Trump, for inexplicable reasons that may be explained in the future, has reportedly been reading and consulting privately about foreign affairs. Thiessen took an opportunity on Thursday to continue the very obviously coordinated attack on Vance planned by a slimy mix of neocons, lazy Republicans, and Israel Firsters.

Evaluating the Iran war, which has grown increasingly unpopular, even among Republicans, Thiessen wrote, “Perhaps it’s time for the president to take the advice of those who have delivered him success in Iran — not those like Vance who have failed him.”

Thiessen blames the failures in Iran not on what certainly look like short-sighted decisions by the commander in chief, but on Vance, whose primary responsibility in the conflict has been negotiating its end with Iran’s leaders. That’s at least honest. But let’s look at what Thiessen says a real victory, without any negotiation, would look like.

He wrote that the war’s objectives are: “eliminate remaining [Iranian] leadership figures; further entomb Iran’s nuclear sites; take out Iran’s remaining ballistic missile sites; destroy the economic and energy infrastructure that provides the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps with a financial lifeline, as well as key highways, railroads, airports and seaports by which the regime gets financial assistance from bordering countries; and demolish Iran’s remaining defense industrial base so it cannot rebuild its destroyed capabilities.” Then, with presumably a straight face, Thiessen said, “That’s it.”

Oh, is that all?!

Well, not really. Thiessen, perhaps to his credit, didn’t even pretend to hide the ball. Though having concluded, “That’s it” — just the complete decimation of a global energy supplier’s entire transportation infrastructure and economy — Thiessen went on to do the equivalent of, But wait! There’s more! He then said the U.S. would simply have to commit to keeping American troops just off the shore of Iran in perpetuity and “provide covert support” to Iranian rebels, in hopes that they might fight their own government. You know, just like they are now! Wait, that’s not actually happening, is it? Oh well!
Mr. Scarry ignores so much of previous research it's not even funny. He relies on reports from the otherwise shoddy AP Wire, doesn't pay any attention to the Tea Party Patriots research on the USA public's support for the war, and even ignores that much of the Iranian inhabitants are unarmed, making it difficult to fight against the Iranian government savages. If that's how Scarry's going to act, can somebody like that be counted on to fight against the Islamofascist regime being established in Europe? Or even the USA itself?

With this, the Federalist continues to send troubling signs they're not dedicated to freedom and liberty any more than say, Ron Paul, who was probably the role model for some of their more questionable writers. It's utterly head-shaking as it's sad they're becoming as overrun with phonies like Scarry, much like the Democrats are becoming overrun with Islamists and communists.

Muslim rapist given 21 years for assault on mother in Gedera

A Muslim rapist who attacked a mother in Gedera while her children were in the house has been given 21 years in prison and a huge fine:
The Central District Court in Lod sentenced Barkat Abu Issa to 21 years in prison on Wednesday for breaking into a woman’s Gedera home, binding and raping her while her three young children were inside.

Abu Issa, 25, was convicted following a trial of rape under aggravated circumstances, burglary of a residential building, and abuse of a minor over the February 2023 attack.

The court also ordered him to pay NIS 200,000 in compensation, comprising NIS 150,000 to the woman and NIS 50,000 to her son, who was two years old at the time of the attack.

The panel directly addressed the woman at the end of its ruling, saying that she had suffered an unbearable and life-altering assault and continued to contend with its effects on her and her children.
What the monster did was an utterly perverse act, and his sentence is not enough. He should be thrown in an isolated dungeon for centuries.

Haredi rioters attack soldiers of the same background

Another nasty encounter with Haredis hostile to presumably anybody not considered a leftist, and the guilty party was demonstrating in favor of those who vandalized a chief justice's house in Alon Shvut:
A demonstration in support of those involved in last month's riot outside the home of Israeli Supreme Court Deputy President Justice Noam Sohlberg was held in Jerusalem and ended in violence, during which three Haredi soldiers serving in the IDF's Netzah Yehuda Battalion were attacked.

The event began with a vehicle convoy from Beit Shemesh to Jerusalem, after which participants continued on foot to Shabbat Square. During the march, demonstrators carried signs opposing the enlistment of Haredim into the IDF, including one reading, "We will never serve in the enemy's army."

Participants also shouted slogans against police officers, and in several instances objects were thrown at them.

The three soldiers, who happened to pass through the area by chance, were assaulted by some of those attending the protest.

The march took place following the release of 63 haredi suspects who had been arrested in connection with last month's riot outside Justice Sohlberg's home in Alon Shvut.

According to the investigation, the rioters damaged Sohlberg's home and the family's vehicle. Windows were smashed, flower pots and planters were broken, and the entrance to the house was vandalized. Israeli flags bearing swastikas were also placed in the street.

Following the incident, Justice Sohlberg's wife, Meira Sohlberg, described what they found upon returning home.

"We are children of Holocaust survivors," she said. "Jews are hurting one another like this. Look at this destruction-a pogrom. What is this, Kristallnacht?"
That the thugs would even bring a desecrated flag to their repulsive riot was a most antisemitic act, and makes clear there's a crisis of 5th column self-haters in Israel's Haredi enclaves, some of which even allow PLO flags to be flown. That also speaks volumes.

One of the commentors to the article said:
Two comments are necessary regarding this article:

1. If it isn't clear to anyone up to now, it should be crystal clear now: the Chareidi community does not consider itself citizens of the State of Israel. (There are many that do, but the vocal, rioting ones certainly do not.)

2. I've said this before: According to Rashi: Just lifting a hand to hit a fellow Jew makes you a "Rasha," an evil person. That is the true Torah value expressed by one the giants of Torah. Of course, if you consider all the other Jews in Israel as the enemy, calling them Amalek, then this warping of Torah values lreads to rationalizing - falsely - that you can hit them. It's time for them to "change their tune" and join us in the real Torah world.
Another said:
I am charedi. I have one married son who served (reserves) for ten months in a combat unit in Gaza during the war and another two in Lebanon. I have another married son in Kollel. Both have families. My Kollel son learns (Torah) nightly with my reserves son. IMHO, the behavior of these so-called "charedim" (in costume) is against the Torah, is a chilul Hashem and is reprehensible.
But that's exactly why the Haredi lifestyle just isn't working anymore. If more would leave it, we'd be much better off.

NYC prosecution fails again

Here's another example of how the legal system in New York City is letting criminal offenders off the hook, and not even filing hate crime charges against the lawbreaker where it could be necessary:
Local leadership in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood expressed deep frustration on Thursday following the sentencing of a New Jersey man who repeatedly drove his vehicle into the international headquarters of Chabad-Lubavitch, arguing that the outcome minimizes the gravity of the assault, JNS reported.

Dan Sohail, 36, of Carteret, New Jersey, entered a guilty plea in May to a single federal charge of damaging religious property after directing his Honda Accord down an access ramp leading to the handicapped-accessible entrance at 770 Eastern Parkway on Jan. 28.

Prior to impact, Sohail removed protective security barriers. He then repeatedly drove into the synagogue's doors five times, backing up between each hit and forcing the entrance off its hinges. The incident resulted in no physical injuries.

On Wednesday, US District Judge Eric N. Vitaliano of the Eastern District of New York ordered a punishment of time served plus seven additional days, turning down a request from federal prosecutors for a 14-month prison sentence. With his impending release, Sohail will have spent slightly more than six months in federal custody.

Prior to driving into the structure, Sohail gestured to bystanders near the doors to clear the area. However, inside the building, roughly 2,000 worshippers and yeshivah students were assembled for Yud Shevat - a major observance on the Chabad calendar marking the anniversary of the passing of the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, and the succession of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson.

Yaacov Behrman, speaking as a liaison for Chabad headquarters, observed that had people been leaving through that doorway, the attack could have produced mass casualties. Behrman expressed confusion over why federal officials chose not to file hate-crime charges. He maintained that intentionally targeting a synagogue and crashing a car into it while thousands were gathered inside constitutes an act of hate by definition, regardless of the perpetrator's internal state of mind.
Let's also not forget the "no bail" policy the prosecution service now run by the awful Alvin Bragg put in place at least as far back as the time Bill de Blasio was mayor. What happened of recent ties in perfectly with atrocities like that. NYC seems to have quite a few of the worst approaches to lawbreaking these days, and the rent control policies nobody seems interested in abandoning are just the icing on the cake. This sad case is yet another example of where NYC is also going under Zohran Mamdani today, and is bound to get worse soon.

Co-founder of the Federalist continues the Orweillian ignorance act

Perhaps it's not a shock, but Sean Davis, CEO and co-founder of the Federalist, has indicated he's against the war on Iran's tyrants, despite previous research telling there are Americans who believe Iran's Islamofascists should be brought down, and tries to frame it all as some kind of "neocon/never-Trump/RINO" conspiracy, all the while not willing to admit he actually represents such disgraceful movements:
It is inarguable that the war in Iran is a massive drag on Donald Trump’s numbers, as well as those of the Republican Party heading into November. This is largely driven by consistently high gas prices, which also drive up the price of everything else.

Trump obviously knows this, which is why he’s been searching for an off-ramp for months. He knows he was elected to get gas prices down and the economy in shape (which he did until the war jammed up the gears).

But a major problem for Trump’s presidency right now is that nearly everyone outside his inner circle pushing for this war — and this includes the entirety of so-called conservative pundits who never found a war they weren’t willing to make others fight and pay for — also hates Trump (and especially J.D. Vance) and sees the war’s negative effect on his popularity as a secondary benefit of the war they’ve been salivating over for decades. To them, his declining numbers are a feature, not a bug.

With the Iran war, the NeverTrump neocons have gotten everything they ever dreamed of — war (which they love), and a massive political quagmire for Trump that threatens to consume the rest of his presidency and destroy any future political chances of J.D. Vance and the entire MAGA/America First movement.
Boy, this guy sure is clever and cunning, trying to do what the British call "fobbing off" the blame on everyone else but himself, all the while pretending he's actually a Trump supporter himself, but in reality, chances are very high he's actually a Vance supporter for all the wrong reasons. Assuming he supposedly opposes having an Islamic caliphate established in Europe, what Davis is doing decidedly contradicts any claim he might make that he's against having Islamofascism conquer Europe. Seriously, I'm not convinced people like him are against the Religion of Peace at all. Period.

I sadly predicted the Federalist would not debate the points of the Tea Party Patriots' polling research, and Davis' bizarre propaganda screed certainly confirms that, more or less. The Federalist is once again proving they're a blight upon conservatism, and an insult to anybody who's against totalitarianism conquering the world. What if it turns out Davis has no genuine issues with NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani, or even communism? He also ignores very valid reasons why Iran's Islamofascist leaders should be taken down, and is practically undermining efforts to protect the USA in the long run. We can only hope the Federalist's losing audience they don't need over their disgraceful behavior, which again only obscures challenging polls that tell a different story than the ludicrous narrative they sadly want to follow.

There is a majority of Americans who want the war against Iran to continue

According to polling data commissioned by Tea Party Patriots, it turns out that, contrary to what even phony "conservatives" like those at the Federalist would have everyone think, many Americans do want the war on Iran to continue until its Islamofascist regime is defeated:
A recent survey has revealed that the majority of Americans support continuing the war in Iran. Sixty-two percent of surveyed general election voters agree with the statement “The United States must finish the job once and for all to protect the United States and our allies — which means ensuring that Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon and can no longer threaten American lives” data from Tea Party Patriots Action found.

The poll also asserted that the numbers found in the survey should be a “reality check” for the media.

“72% of Americans — including 60% of Democrats — agree that Iran cannot be allowed to exert control over the Strait of Hormuz, which is consistent with President Trump’s policy,”
Tea Party Patriots Action Chairman Jenny Beth Martin told Breitbart News.

Martin continued, “And 62% of Americans — including 56% of Independents — believe that we need to ‘finish the job’ in Iran. … There is no split in the conservative movement on this issue. … Conservatives are overwhelmingly sticking with President Trump and the American people as a whole agree with the president’s strategy.”
If the Federalist doesn't comment on these findings, that'll speak volumes about what they're really like. It's good to know there are realists in the USA now who recognize the threat Iran's regime poses if it isn't taken down entirely, and surely recognize that if a ground operation is what it inevitably takes to complete the job, just like in Iraq, it'll have to be done. So we must give the military all the backing they'll need in order to keep morale high, which helps tremendously in order to achieve vital results.

Haredi anti-army extremists were celebrating death of recruitment advocate

An ultra-Orthodox activist who tried to integrate Haredis into military service sadly passed away, and what a shock, there's Haredi extremists who're celebrating the death of an innocent man:
Following the death of Yaakov Aharon Farber, who was behind the Maalot Tzur initiative to integrate haredim in the IDF, extremist factors celebrated with several events and announcements.

Kugel, fruit, and drinks were handed out at yeshivas and study halls "in honor of his death." The refreshments were accompanied by a sign with a quote from Proverbs: "When the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy," noting that they were donated "in honor of the death of one of the leaders of the forced apostasy in our generation, Yaakov Farber, may the names of the wicked rot."

The "Kav Hahagana" (Defense Line), which is affiliated with the Jerusalem Faction, published an announcement, stating: "When the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy. The conscriptor who founded Maalot Tzur croaked an hour ago; from now on, he won't be able to draft haredim."

Farber, of blessed memory, passed away at 32, after years of fighting an illness. He led the Maalot Tzur initiative, which was designed to integrate haredim into military service while adapting the framework to their way of life. The program included, among othe
r features, service without military uniforms and participation by married men who were not studying in yeshiva and who maintained ongoing guidance from rabbis. It's utterly terrible when clans like those in focus do something most inappropriate, especially after October 7, 2023. The ultra-Orthodox clans' members should be ashamed of themselves. What the guy was doing was a positive example, and it's a shame he's gone now, much too young.

911 Families do not want Zohran Mamdani at memorial service

911 Families are speaking out, and rightfully objecting to having NYC's Muslim mayor Zohran Mamdani at the upcoming 911 Memorial service:
Families of 9/11 victims are demanding NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani be banned from the 25th anniversary of the attacks at Ground Zero, branding him an apologist for Islamic terror whose presence would be an insult to the memories of nearly 3,000 people murdered.

“Our objection is based on his public record — his failure to meaningfully acknowledge the horror of that day, and his employment of, support for, or association with individuals who have minimized 9/11, defended terrorists, or even suggested America ‘deserved’ the attacks,” said Giovanni Galante – whose 29-year-old wife Grace Catherine Galante was among 2,977 innocents killed by al-Qaeda terrorists.

Galante, 55, is one of the organizers of a petition drive that has collected over 1,100 signatures in a little over a week, including from at least 300 victims’ families.
Here's a link to the petition, which everybody who recognizes what's wrong with Mamdani should sign. And it's not just him who shouldn't be allowed at the 911 Memorial site and service. It's also anybody who blatantly voted for him to start with. All who voted for Mamdani did a terrible disservice to the victims of al Qaeda, should be ashamed of themselves, and have no business being anywhere near the site.

As Catherine Salgado says:
Some families of 9/11 victims don’t want commie Mayor Zohran Mamdani to attend the annual memorial for the New York City victims of the devastating Islamic jihad attack. And they have very good reasons for their opinion.

The 2026 memorial for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks is of particular importance, because it will mark exactly 25 years. Naturally, some family members of those who died as a result of Islamic terrorism exactly a quarter century ago do not want an apologist for Islamic terrorism as a featured speaker at the memorial. Mamdani has defended jihadis, publicly joined prayers for killing infidels, appeared at events and mosques with pro-terror radicals, and fueled violent antisemitism. He represents the evil ideology that caused the al-Qaida 9/11 attacks.
That's precisely why he should be shunned. Here's more:
The petition catalogues a series of concerns about Mayor Mamdani, the city's first Muslim mayor, who has been in office since January.

Among them is his refusal to condemn the "globalise the intifada" rallying cry, and his association during last year's mayoral campaign with Imam Siraj Wahhaj - a Brooklyn cleric who was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Petitioners also take issue with his appointment of Ramzi Kassem as the city's chief counsel, noting Kassem previously defended al-Qaeda terrorist Ahmed al-Darbi - who admitted involvement in a 2002 plot to bomb a French oil tanker.

Further grievances include Mayor Mamdani's endorsement of Democratic Socialist of America member Aber Kawas for a state Senate seat, despite her having once characterised the September 11 attacks as something "a couple of people did."

Cheri Sparacio, another organiser whose husband Thomas died in the attacks, said there were "so many other examples" of why his attendance would be "disrespectful" that "we couldn't fit them on the list."

The Staten Island resident pointed to the mayor's longstanding ties to left-wing influencer Hasan Piker, who once said America "deserved" the 2001 attacks.
Mamdani should be denaturalized and deported too, as should all the offenders he associated with. And any 911 Families who speak at the service should publicly condemn him in the sternest terms possible. Mamdani's colleagues, appointees and other associates who uphold evil like he does should also not be allowed at the 911 Memorial service.

Why not say what that ideology is clearly?

Federalist writer Brianna Lyman argues it's not Zohran Mamdani who's the problem in the USA now, but rather, immigration of people who uphold the same kind of ideologies he does, which she curiously won't specify:
That said, conservatives still face a serious problem — it’s just not the threat Cruz and McCain are warning against.

The real danger is an immigration system that has imported millions of new residents and aspiring leaders (like Mamdani) who seek to fundamentally destroy the republic and replace it with the same kind of failed ideologies found in the very places these immigrants fled.

Mamdani is example No. 1: a Ugandan-born socialist whose politics are fundamentally hostile to and incompatible with the republic
. An October survey from Patriot Polling showed just how necessary New York’s foreign-born population was to Mamdani’s winning coalition. The poll found he led among foreign-born New York residents with 62 percent support compared with just 31 percent of American-born support. Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Republican mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa had 40 percent and 25 percent support, respectively, among native-born Americans.

Mamdani himself has acknowledged that immigrants were decisive in his rise. He made a point of relating a conversation with one voter who said, “I just got my citizenship. And I’m voting for you.”

Mamdani then specifically thanked immigrants for powering his campaign during his victory speech: “We will fight for you, because we are you. Or, as we say on Steinway, ana minkum wa alaikum. Thank you to those so often forgotten by the politics of our city, who made this movement their own. I speak of Yemeni bodega owners and Mexican abuelas. Senegalese taxi drivers and Uzbek nurses. Trinidadian line cooks and Ethiopian aunties.” He went on to assert that “New York will remain a city of immigrants: a city built by immigrants, powered by immigrants and, as of tonight, led by an immigrant.”

The speech was an acknowledgment of an electorate fundamentally transformed by immigration. America willingly imported foreigners who are fundamentally incompatible with the republic, and they make it clear through their voting patterns.
The part where Mamdani made use of an Arabic phrase is the closest this item gets to alluding to anything about the Religion of Peace. Gee, why exactly doesn't Mrs. Lyman have the courage it takes to raise the issue outright? How can even communism be opposed if nobody's going to make things clear? Why, what about Scientology? Let's not think that couldn't also be a problem.

This is another Federalist article that falls way short of potential, all because specific ideologies aren't named, and it's not enough to mention socialism either if you don't also make clear why Islam's a serious problem. Not that we should be surprised an online magazine whose own editor is a bad lot could water things down so laughably. For all we know, if the editor's a shameful person, who knows if he's even willing to advocate defending Europe if they're conquered by Islam? This is sadly a far different era than that of WW2, and if he won't support defeating Iran's Islamofascist regime convincingly, then we can't take his word at face value that he allegedly cares about Europe. Failure to clearly acknowledge Islam and communism being an enemy is another serious letdown.

Possible Muslim convert in NYC stabbed 2 victims

One Asian man and one Jewish man were stabbed by a criminal who called out a common exclamation by jihadists:
A 51-year-old man is in custody after he allegedly stabbed two people Thursday on New York’s Upper West Side, according to police.

Raul Morales was arrested in connection with the incident, according to a Thursday statement shared on X by New York Police Department (NYPD) Commissioner Jessica Tisch. He allegedly stabbed an Asian male and a Jewish male in two separate attacks.

One victim was found near Amsterdam Avenue and West 86th Street, while the other victim was found near West 84th Street and Central Park West, according to FOX 5 New York. Witnesses allege that the suspect shouted “Allahu Akbar” before the incident, Tisch said.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital and are expected to survive. There is no link between the suspect and the two victims or between either of the victims. The suspect was arrested at 89th Street and Amsterdam Avenue thanks to the help of a Good Samaritan, police said.

The NYPD is investigating and believes mental health may have played a role in the incident. They are also determining whether the incident is a hate crime.

Democratic New York Assemblyman Micah Lasher was at the scene of the incident and said the Jewish victim was wearing a kippah, the Times of Israel reported. The incident occurred on Tisha B’av, the Jewish day of mourning, which is marked by prayer and fasting, according to the outlet. Tisha B’av was observed from sunset on July 22 to nightfall on July 23 this year, according to Chabad.org.
It's possible the criminal is a Muslim convert, yet the police, rather predictably, choose to avoid any challenging issues, all for the sake of pleasing their new master, mayor Zohran Mamdani, whom some have blamed for worsening the dangerous atmosphere with his own anti-Israel rhetoric. Yet he refuses to take any responsibility for what he's led to:
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Friday rebuffed mounting pressure from Jewish community leaders urging him to apologize for past anti-Israel statements.

The refusal followed Thursday’s attack on the Upper West Side where a man wearing a kippah was stabbed on the fast day of Tisha B’Av by an attacker who yelled “Allahu Akbar" during the stabbing. [...]

Mamdani has long come under fire for his anti-Israel stance. This week, he published a video in which the mayor conceded that he lacked the authority to arrest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits New York City - a pledge he had made repeatedly during his campaign - while maintaining his characterization of Netanyahu as a "war criminal."
All that says is that Mamdani has no remorse over what he's led to, including racist attacks on Asians. He doesn't deserve to be a mayor.

Update: confirmation's come in that Morales had a koran and a biography of Che Guevara in his house.

Update 2: here's an op-ed about how Mamdani's led to so much damage in such a short span, and why we can't be shocked about how bad things have become.

Of course Israel's on a collision course with Turkey

Or destined to be, sooner or later. That's what professor Eyal Zisser is talking about now:
Turkey was the first Muslim-majority country to recognize the State of Israel, doing so in 1949. Since then, however, relations between the two countries have experienced ups and, above all, downs. For many years, ties remained deeply frozen because Ankara feared antagonizing the Arab states. In the late 1950s, however, Turkey joined Israel, Iran and Ethiopia in establishing the Periphery Alliance as a counterweight to Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser.

The peace process that began in the region in the early 1990s brought an unprecedented flourishing of relations between the two countries, along with economic, diplomatic and, above all, security cooperation. As it once did with Iran, Israel displayed appalling shortsightedness by helping to develop Turkey's security services and defense industry.

All this changed after Erdogan came to power more than two decades ago. Erdogan seeks to turn his back on the legacy of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey, not only regarding the country's secular character but also, and especially, in foreign policy. Turkey's traditional focus on Europe has been replaced by an orientation toward the Arab and Islamic worlds. Turkey has consequently aligned itself with Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, using hostility toward Israel as a lever to advance its standing in the Arab and Muslim worlds.

Even after Erdogan took power, however, relations between the two countries continued, particularly in the economic sphere. That remained the case until October 7, after which Turkey sided with Hamas in both words and deeds, bringing about a complete rupture between the two countries, although the Turkish Embassy continues to operate in Tel Aviv.

Following the takeover of Syria by Turkish protégé Ahmad al-Sharaa, Ankara gained a foothold in the country and effectively replaced Iran as its dominant foreign power. This heightened concerns in Jerusalem that Syria could become an arena for confrontation. There were even reports of near-clashes between Turkish and Israeli aircraft. Nevertheless, a hotline between the Israeli and Turkish air forces was established through Azerbaijani mediation to prevent incidents in Syrian airspace.
Oh, we just have to rely on another Muslim country for this. Azerbaijan, of course, is also guilty of jihadist bloodshed against Armenians, and that's one of the reasons why it's terrible how Israel in the past came to do potentially faustian deals with Islamic countries if that's what it took to supposedly keep a stable region. But of course, Islamic taqqiya (deception) is why it won't last long. If Israel's advocates don't show the courage to convince Islamic countries to stop worshiping the Religion of Peace, how do they expect to improve the situation with Turkey?

All this is why eventually, Turkey will have to be regarded as an enemy state, until its modern tyrants like Erdogan can be replaced with saner ones, who preferably aren't Muslim.

What to make of Trump administration's deal with Saudia Arabia?

Donald Trump made a deal with Saudi Arabia to build nuclear power stations, but not to do uranium enrichment, and has a demand they recognize Israel too:
President Donald Trump said Thursday that Saudi Arabia will not enrich uranium under the landmark nuclear deal signed with the U.S. this week.

Trump said the nuclear agreement is subject to Riyadh establishing diplomatic relations with Israel through the Abraham Accords.

“There will be no enrichment of material!”
the president said in a Truth Social post. The deal “is totally subject to Saudi Arabia joining the very respected and successful Abraham Accords,” he said.
Well I certainly hope not. Even so, based on how Saudi Arabia still upholds Islam and doesn't allow other religions to function there, are they reliable when it comes to working on nuclear technology? If they move away from Islam, they could be more trustworthy in that regard, but for now, no.

As I am aware, they did thankfully stop forcing women to wear abayas, but even so, when they stick with the Religion of Peace as they have to date, that's why they still have a long way to go, even if they do recognize Israel's validity.

Mamdani begrudgingly recognizes he has no legal authority to arrest Netanyahu while visiting NYC

NYC's first Muslim mayor may have admitted he cannot arrest Netanyahu on trumped up accusations issues by the ICC, but Mamdani still sticks by his anti-Israeli positions in the worst ways:
Leading Jewish groups castigate New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani for inflammatory claims he made yesterday in a video announcing that he could not arrest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Before stating that the city could not make the arrest, Mamdani said Israel was targeting “neonatal care centers,” starving “countless people,” “gunning down hundreds of aid workers and journalists,” and that Americans were paying “for the bombs that do the killing.”

The claims are largely exaggerated or based on scanty or questionable evidence.

The UJA-Federation of New York, the leading Jewish group in the city, says, “New Yorkers elected a mayor to lead this city — not to make Israel the centerpiece of your political grandstanding.”

“Your video is rife with distortions and disinformation. At a time of rising antisemitism, repeatedly singling out and vilifying the world’s only Jewish state for perceived political benefit is repugnant, puts Jews at greater risk — and leaves many Jewish New Yorkers feeling targeted and unwelcome in the city we call home,” the federation says in a statement. “Shame on you.”
It's really no shock, of course, that Mamdani would do this. He should not be welcome at the upcoming 911 Memorial service either, because it's pretty obvious he also doesn't respect any of the victims and survivors there. A most repellent man indeed.
