Vance continues to be a worry

As though it weren't bad enough that Israel suffered a dreadful election result, as did the USA, vice president J.D Vance continues to give signs he wants to take a negative path on Israel:
Vance’s wording — “change our relationship with Israel” — was awfully interesting, because it’s a suspiciously open-ended phrase: Moving closer to Israel would also be a change, yet somehow, I doubt that’s what Vance intended.

Fox News’ politics editor, Katelyn Caralle, also doubts it. She wrote, “A source familiar with post-election schedules said the Vice President’s X post today was made after a White House meeting on aligning messaging following Tuesday’s Republican bloodbath. Instead, [Vance] took control of his own response. One Trump official described Vance’s post as a rallying cry to the “new right” — a coalition of Republicans that align with Trump’s “America First” movement but believe the president is too aligned with Israel on foreign policy.”

JD Vance’s 2028 strategy is clear: He’s not looking to inherit Donald Trump’s MAGA movement. That’s why he’s not even trying to reunite it.

He’s building a brand-new movement — the “new right” — and it’s significantly closer to Tucker Carlson’s worldview than to Ted Cruz's or Ron DeSantis's.
And to date, Vance won't distance himself from Carlson. If this is how Vance is going to act, it's doubtful he wants to save Europe from Islam's encroachment, if at all. If he is planning to run for the nomination in 2028, that's very bad, especially if he wins it.

Update: Ari Fleischer and Brit Hume had a good response to Vance:
Republicans who supported the strikes are now criticizing the ceasefire. Ari Fleischer, who called the decision to attack “the right decision,” answered Vance: “The problem was not the Iran War. It was the ceasefire.” He said Vance had negotiated a truce that failed and left Americans facing higher prices with troops still deployed. Brit Hume said Vance had been “hornswoggled by the Iranians into a deal they would never live up to, and didn’t.” [...]

The polling argument needs scrutiny, too. Vance says an unnamed pollster asked former Trump voters what would bring them back: ending the war, addressing living costs, putting America first, and changing the relationship with Israel.

That last item in particular has a longer history than Wednesday’s post. Since June, Vance has repeatedly pointed at Israel when defending his Iran diplomacy. In July, for example, he told Joe Rogan that “certain people within the Israeli government” were behind “a literal foreign influence campaign” to “tank the very deal that I was pursuing.” On Wednesday, “change our relationship to Israel” became the fourth thing Trump voters supposedly want, on the word of a pollster he has not identified.

That pandering has an audience. Vance’s good friend Tucker Carlson has consistently cast the war as serving Israel’s interests while praising the VP. In a post viewed 95 million times in the campaign’s final days, he wrote that Netanyahu “needs this war” and praised Vance as one of two men in the administration arguing for a deal. Marjorie Taylor Greene replied to Vance’s post: “You should have listened to me and Tucker.”

Vance certainly appears to be courting that crowd, with an asset a vice president controls: his account of who is to blame. Not everyone in that crowd wants him, either. Nick Fuentes told his followers to vote for Democrats to punish Republicans and said on election night that the party must be rebuilt “with the groypers” and that “it cannot involve Trump, Vance.”
Hmm, wasn't Fuentes the same man disgraced columnists like Michelle Malkin ran around with once? Well he sure has shown his true colors alright. No wonder such a fiasco took place this month.

A sad loss for conservatives in the USA midterm elections

Somehow, this isn't shocking the Republicans would lose plenty and the Democrats would end up winning plenty this year. Which includes, perhaps more unshockingly, the victory of Muslim socialist Abdul el-Sayed in Michigan:
Democrat Abdul El-Sayed will defeat Republican Mike Rogers in Michigan’s closely watched U.S. Senate race Tuesday, projects Decision Desk.

The candidates competed for an open seat after Democrat Sen. Gary Peters announced last year he would not run for reelection.

El-Sayed, a Michigan native who will become the first Muslim member of the U.S. Senate, earned an M.D. from Columbia University and a doctorate in public health at Oxford as a Rhodes scholar, though he did not pursue residency and therefore is not licensed to practice medicine. Rogers and other Republicans raised this history when refusing to refer to him as a doctor. He previously led the Detroit Health Department and the Wayne County Department of Health, Human, and Veterans Services.
It's chilling to think of all the non-Muslims in Michigan who likely voted for this man. Mark Levin also brought this up: That's one of the worst things about this election disaster. And what if it turns out bad "conservatives" like John Daniel Davidson also secretly voted for the Democrats? (Update: here's somebody at his Federalist site even quoting Vance uncritically.) Why won't it be the least bit shocking if that turns out to be the case?

As Pamela Geller notes, JD Vance has just made things worse by blaming relations with Israel on what occurred, and won't take responsibility for any influence he had in holding back firm attacks on Iran. Here's somebody commenting on how bad Vance is: If Vance is going to run for POTUS in the next 2 years, it'll be awful. But what's really chilling to ponder is whether a majority of Republicans will actually vote to nominate him the official candidate after what he's done? He's betrayed Trump, and now, he's lending himself to furthering the nightmares to come.

Update: and wouldn't you know it, the aforementioned Davidson wasted no time blaming Trump almost entirely for the election failure, right down to the following:
This was a war that no Trump voters were asking for in 2024. In fact they were promised the opposite: no new Mideast wars. That, and mass deportations were the two things voters wanted from a second Trump term. He betrayed them on both counts, launching the Iran war and doing too little on mass deportations. And the result is that voters, clearly perceiving the betrayal, have rejected Republicans everywhere.
Predictably, he ignores previous data indicating there were Americans who supported the war. He also ignores that Trump has gotten some 2 million illegals deported. All Davidson's doing, as a result, is suppressing info to serve his ignorant agendas. This is why truly, I want nothing to do with the Federalist anymore.

A deal to end USA military aid to Israel

Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump made a deal to stop USA army aid to Israel by the end of the year:
President Donald Trump said he has made a deal with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that will see the U.S. "cut off" military aid to Israel this year because Republicans "suffer the slings" from Democratic candidates over the issue.

"Bibi Netanyahu and I have made a deal that – we give Israel $4 billion a year – and we made a deal months ago that we're stopping, and ... they're fine with it because, you know, they’ve become a very successful country. They don’t need it, and we won't be paying any more," the president said in an interview on Fox News. "So it's just a wasted thing because we've already agreed that by the end of this year, we won't be paying Israel."

Trump did not provide specifics on the forms of military aid that will end, nor how it will be ended.
It's okay, since Israel's government had decided earlier to manufacture some of their own weapons for defense, rather than rely almost entirely upon the USA military's own output. And who knows, there could be an advantage in all this, so provided Israel can develop its own weapons, this is no big deal at all.

Trump willing to broker a national unity government arrangement for Israel

President Trump's indicated he's willing to offer assistance in setting up the next government in Israel:
President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in “pretty good shape now” after defying election projections and indicated he would consider helping broker a national unity government as Israel’s political factions struggled to assemble a governing majority.

Netanyahu’s Likud emerged as Israel’s largest party, while his governing coalition performed considerably better than several major polls had projected, strengthening the prime minister’s political position but leaving him short of the 61 seats needed to form a government. [...]

Asked whether he might become involved in efforts to establish a Netanyahu-led unity government, Trump said he had not previously considered the possibility but did not rule it out.

“I will take a look,” he replied. [...]

Separately, an American official told i24NEWS that Trump might wait several weeks before attempting to bring Netanyahu and opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot together, potentially inviting both men to his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
I'm okay with it. After all, serious damage was done during this election when you look at how much the Arab/Islamic parties got, and now, it's important to work together in order to improve anything.

Since we're on the topic, Netanyahu's also said that the election was stolen by the Arab/Islamic parties:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party complained on Wednesday that this week’s tumultuous election was “stolen by Arab parties that support terrorism and the elimination of the Jewish state.”

Netanyahu posted a statement formally attributed to his Likud party that said the election was distorted by “serious criminal offenses of bribery, threats, violence, forgeries, and the use of prohibited software to mobilize voters.”

Likud said it was referring the case to the police and the Shin Bet security service, as well as Israel’s Central Elections Committee, backed up by “hundreds of testimonies and pieces of evidence regarding election theft in many Arab polling stations.”

The party said its evidence included “thousands of envelopes with cash and Ra’am slips, threats and violence against polling station members, multiple voting behind the curtain, voting with double identities, discrepancies between the number of envelopes and the number of voters, the use of prohibited mobilization software, and more.”

“This is a serious blow to Israeli democracy and the voting rights of Israeli citizens. The law enforcement agencies must act with an iron fist and in an immediate manner,” the statement said.

Likud issued another statement on Thursday referring to its election theft charges as the “Ra’amgate Affair,” a play on the name of the Arab-led Ra’am Party.

“This is an attack on democracy whose purpose is to lead to a foreign takeover of the Knesset, the Islamization of Israel, and the overthrow of right-wing rule in order to lead to retreat and defeat of the IDF in all arenas — and primarily Iran,” the second statement said.

Likud said a political “earthquake” was touched off on Thursday when the chair of the Central Elections Committee, Justice Noam Sohlberg, asked Shin Bet to investigate allegations of “foreign entities acting against Israeli interests” in the election.
There was a discussion on Channel 14 the other evening as to whether a Muslim mayor could one day be elected in Jerusalem, and that would be awful. That's why this investigation should be conducted, if the system is to ever be mended, because we can't have it being conquered via Trojan horses in politics.

Trump endorses Netanyahu

Donald Trump has announced his support for Benjamin Netanyahu in the Israeli election, which will take place next week:
President Donald Trump endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for reelection, describing him as having “been strong, brave, and brilliant.’

In a post on Truth Social, Trump addressed a letter to the people of Israel and warned that “if Israel has the wrong Leader,” which is someone other than Netanyahu, the United States will have to do the job of fighting Iran by itself.

“Bibi Netanyahu has been a Great Warrior Prime Minister, and an even greater Partner for Peace in combatting the Islamic Republic of Iran, with its 51 year old chant, ‘Death to Israel, Death to America! We will destroy the Little Satan and the Big Satan,” Trump wrote. “What Country can survive when things such as this are allowed to be said, because eventually, they always end up being true?”

Trump continued, pointing out that “it would have been only a question of time until Iran would have put that ominous phrase into effect.”

“But they have been systematically destroyed, both Militarily and Financially, and unless they change their ways, rapidly, we will soon finish the job,” Trump continued. “If Israel has the wrong Leader, which would be anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this work ourselves, and I am not inclined to do so. Bibi Netanyahu has been Strong, Brave, and Brilliant in the face of tremendous opposition, including that coming from even Israel, itself.”
I certainly hope this encourages and convices the Israeli public to vote for Netanyahu's Likud party. It's also important for the future of Europe.

USA military's execution of Nidal Hasan won't be livestreamed

It appears that while the long-delayed execution of Muslim military murderer Nidal Hasan will go ahead, it won't be livestreamed as was originally planned (Hat tip: Patterico):
President Trump put an abrupt end on Thursday to questions about whether the Pentagon would really livestream the firing squad execution of the Fort Hood shooter, former Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan.

In a Truth Social post, he said the public execution could serve as a deterrent but didn’t want to subject “good and well-meaning” people to the sight. Critics have also warned about the video becoming a tool for terrorist propaganda.
I suppose there's a valid concern there, so perhaps it's for the best if it isn't public. So long as Hasan is punished for his evil deeds, that's what matters.

USA military's execution of Nidal Hasan will take place December 3

USA war secretary Pete Hegseth announced that the jihadist who murdered 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009 will be handed down the death sentence on the 3rd of December:
On Thursday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made clear the public will be able to see the December 3, 2026, execution of terrorist Nidal Hasan.

Breitbart News reported that Hasan will be executed at Fort Hood for the mass shooting he carried out at that same military installation on November 5, 2009. Hasan’s attack left 13 dead and numerous others wounded as he shouted, “Allahu Akbar,” while committing the atrocity. [...]

He [Hegseth] told Real America’s Voice, “We’ll make sure that people are able to watch it. That it’s public. Because people need to understand that there’s serious consequences for these types of things.”
I do hope I can find sites and channels on which to watch this. It can help send a message that Islamofascists who identify as "palestinians" will also face grave consequences for their repulsive behavior. Hasan deserves all that's coming to him soon.

Trump administration is enabling exile of Christians from Syria

Catherine Salgado points to how Christians are disappearing from the middle east, and one part sticks out in particular for pondering:
Between the Islamic civil war in Syria and the current dictatorship under the genocidal Syrian President Abu Mohammad al-Golani (also known as Ahmed al-Sharaa) and his terrorist group Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, the Christian population of Syria has almost vanished. Within living memory, Lebanon was Christian; now it is mostly Muslim. In Iran and Iraq, ancient communities of Christians have shrunk almost to nonexistence. In Turkey, where Constantinople was once a glory of the Christian world, the Muslims have stolen Christian heritage and Christian lands. In Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and numerous other countries in the Middle East, Christians have disappeared or are barely hanging on. Gaza’s and Bethlehem’s Christian populations have dropped under Palestinian Authority control. This is the legacy of Islamic takeover. Israel stands out in the Middle East because its Christian population is actually growing. Christians can visit the holiest sites of our religion because of the Israeli government.
So as you see, Salgado doesn't hold back in her description of al-Sharaa, and she's right that the whole notion anything is literally improving for Christians in other parts of the middle east is mistaken. Let's also not forget what it's like in certain parts of Africa like Nigeria, which Trump has addressed, but lately hasn't done so as much, and that could be troubling too. Either way, that he would be willing to recognize an Islamofascist and approve of his becoming an autocrat in Syria is very disturbing, and does serious damage to the efforts to put an end to the Religion of Peace's tyrannical reign anywhere.

It's not enough that Israel be considered a place where Christianity can survive. Even other parts of the middle east and Europe have to count.

Trump has what to say about riots in France

Donald Trump's weighed in on the latest terrible riots in France and what's behind them:
President Donald Trump is sounding the alarm over France’s spiraling street unrest, warning that the threat of Islam is taking over the country and fueling a crisis that has now engulfed the country’s schools, streets, and police.

“What’s happening in France is nothing less than out of control mass migration,” Trump said in a Truth Social post. “This isn’t about schools, this is about Islam wanting to take over a once great Country!”

French teenagers stormed back to the barricades Tuesday for a third round of their increasingly violent school revolt — and this time, the adults joined them. Scuffles broke out between protesters and police on the streets of Paris, while clashes flared in Lyon and Strasbourg as hundreds of thousands of high school students once again blockaded their schools.
It's chilling, and also makes clear that in or out of government, Jean Luc Melechon's party, which reportedly incited this, clearly is a troublemaker that's bound to cause hell for France that nobody needs.

Trump approves USA military execution for Nidal Hasan

Donald Trump has approved the USA military handing the death sentence to Nidal Malik Hasan for his acts of jihadist murder in 2009:
US President Donald Trump has approved the military execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, the former Army officer responsible for the 2009 Fort Hood shooting that killed 13 people and wounded 32 others.

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell announced the decision Monday, nearly 17 years after the attack.

Hasan opened fire on November 5, 2009, shouting "Allahu Akbar" as he attacked soldiers at the Texas military installation
. If the execution proceeds, it would mark the first US military execution authorized by a president and carried out since 1961. Such executions are reserved for the most serious offenses under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. [...]

Before the Fort Hood attack, Hasan took a pistol and a .357 revolver to a mosque where he attended noon prayers. He then drove to a soldier readiness processing facility, where he knew soldiers would be unarmed. Witness accounts described him opening fire on the area with the greatest concentration of soldiers after shouting "Allahu Akbar." "I shot to kill," Hasan stated in a sanity board report.
Well it's about time, and now, what matters is when the termination of this monster will actually take place. So we have to hope it'll take place by the end of the year. Hasan cannot continue to live any longer after what he did to those soldiers at the time.

When will Nidal Malik Hasan finally be executed?

Stephen Green brings up the repugnant case of Nidal Malik Hasan, the Islamic US Army major of "palestinian" background who committed mass murder at Fort Hood 17 years ago, and to date hasn't been given the death sentence for the tragedies he caused:
It seems impossible that it's been almost exactly 17 years since U.S. Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan shouted "Allahu Akbar!" and opened fire on soldiers at the Fort Hood Soldier Readiness Center in Killeen, Texas. By the time Department of the Army police officer Kimberly D. Munley and Sgt. Mark Todd exchanged gunshots with Hasan and disabled him; he had killed 14 people — including an unborn baby — and wounded 32 more.

Before going down, Hasan shot Munley three times, in the right hand, left thigh, and left knee. She survived, but never fully recovered from her injuries. Hasan's attack lasted about 10 minutes because of all the many absurdities about modern life; soldiers are generally not allowed to carry firearms on base.

It is the height of outrageous absurdity that the Obama administration described the jihadi terrorist attack as an act of mere "workplace violence." Hasan, the son of naturalized Palestinian immigrants, was reportedly radicalized online by Imam Anwar al-Awlaki — under the watchful eye of the FBI. The Bureau cleared him shortly before what a Senate report called "the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil since Sept. 11, 2001."

Obama's Army Chief of Staff Gen. George W. Casey Jr. said, "I'm concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers... Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that's worse."

Fourteen dead in an Islamic terror attack, and all Casey could do was praise our precious diversity. [...]

The Supreme Court removed the last remaining legal obstacle to Hasan's long-awaited execution in October 2024 — two years ago — when the court declined to hear his appeal. That was under Presidentish Joe Biden.

It should come as no surprise that Biden did not take the final executive step. Under U.S. military law (UCMJ), a death sentence cannot be carried out until the President personally approves it — and President Donald Trump has yet to do so.
We have to hope Trump will be fully willing to greenlight the end of Hasan by the end of the year, because this travesty of justice has gone on far too long, and Obama definitely compounded much of the damage by minimizing the issues involved, as did Casey. I wonder what the pro-PLO/Hamas crowd thinks of Hasan? It's chilling to think of how entirely possible it is that they consider Hasan an "icon and idol" to their repulsive cause.

Iran continues to collapse

Eric Florack discusses how Iran's dictatorship, despite all their attempts to make it sound otherwise, is collapsing:
In the cleanest tell yet that Iran is on the ropes, a senior Iranian official just put a number on the table Tehran has never put there before. That official told Reuters on Sept. 22 that Iran can reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days if Washington eases military pressure and lifts the blockade on Iranian ports. Per that reporting, this marks the first time Tehran has attached a specific, dated performance window to reopening the strait rather than treating it as an open-ended bargaining chip. That's a meaningful shift. A regime negotiating from strength doesn't convert its leverage into a countdown clock — it converts it when the clock is running against it, not the other way around. Reuters doesn't name the "senior official," but it's a safe bet that it's either President Masoud Pezeshkian himself or someone standing close enough to him to speak for the office.

Of course, there's always the question of whether Iran actually follows through on its promises, and the standard response should be "they won't," since in practice, they never have.

That suspicion only deepens once you look at what other Iranian officials said in the same news cycle. CNBC's reporting notes that a separate senior Iranian government official told MS NOW, CNBC's Versant Media partner, that the Reuters and Kyodo reports were "not true." And according to yournews.com's writeup, Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency disputed the account, too. So this isn't a clean, confirmed data point. It's a single-sourced Reuters/Kyodo report, attributed to one unnamed official, that Iran's own state-adjacent media machine turned around and contradicted within the same day. CNBC itself states it "could not independently verify the reports."

That contradiction goes directly to a point I made back in April: Iran's civilian government under Pezeshkian and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps aren't singing from the same hymnal, and this flip-flop looks a great deal like the result. It's reasonable to conclude Iran is fighting something close to an internal civil war right now, waged between the IRGC and whatever still passes for a civilian government in Tehran — one arm offering concessions to end a war it can't win, the other arm racing to deny it before Iranian state media has to explain the offer to its own people.

Let’s recall that Ali Khamenei was killed in a February 28 U.S.-Israeli strike and his son Mojtaba Khamenei was installed as his successor. Mojtaba is now reportedly walled off from his own government by an IRGC security cordon. Gee, big shock.

The walk-back on the Hormuz offer itself is the more useful data point, because it measures Iran's shrinking ability to control its own message, let alone its own war. Even Iranian state media has lately taken on a tone bracing its audience for something difficult, a marked departure from its usual self-assured, defiant register. Pezeshkian's own framing — "we emerged with our heads held high," vowing to "firmly defend" Iran's positions — is the language of a leader managing domestic face-saving, not one negotiating from a position that needs no defending. That combination — tough public talk paired with real, dated concessions offered quietly through mediators — is the classic signature of a regime under genuine pressure, trying to manage two audiences at once: an international one it's handing specific offers to, and a domestic one it's still trying to sell a story of resilience. It calls to mind the rhetoric coming out of Berlin in the days after the Allied landing at Normandy — total confidence on the radio, total collapse on the map.
Well let's hope this all signals Iran's tyrants will surrender soon. But let's still remember they're barbarians, and such monsters don't merely surrender so easily. So even if financial sanctions are having effects, it doesn't mean they'll give up so easily.

Hasan Piker just made clear he's still as anti-American as ever

The Islamic "influencer" who became a prominent backer of the Democrats just made another statement proving he hasn't changed one bit from his previous anti-American abominations:
Democrat campaign surrogate Hasan Piker claimed, just in time for Constitution Day, that the United States of America, which has brought more freedom and opportunity to the world than any other nation or government in history, is worse than the mass murdering Islamic terrorist group that committed the 9/11 attacks.

The 25th anniversary of 9/11 should inspire the Trump administration to deport Islamic invaders who openly advocate jihad and hate America like Hasan Piker and Abdul El-Sayed. Piker is not only cheapening the tragedy of the 2001 attacks on Americans but also the decades of other heinous atrocities that Osama Bin Laden’s al-Qaeda has committed and continues to commit. Did we learn nothing from 9/11? Time for deportations of everyone who openly identifies himself as a foreign jihad affiliate. Otherwise, another 9/11 could occur, just as Israel had an October 7.

(By the way, I know that Piker was born in America. He grew up in terror-sponsoring Turkey; his parents are Turkish, and it is obvious he has absolutely no loyalty to America. Frankly, he is an amazing illustration of just what is wrong with our birthright citizenship system.)

Piker went on The Axios Show and engaged in some typical Islamic moral warping, claiming that every war in U.S. history is equivalent to jihad or even worse. Asked if America were worse than al-Qaeda, Piker asserted, “Pound for pound as far as the number of deaths, yes. We have caused tremendous terror all around the world.”

Notice how the pig smeared America as evil even while pretending he is somehow loyal to the U.S. enough to refer to Americans as “we.” He wants Americans to believe that our government is nothing but a terrorist entity, and that actual terrorist groups are noble freedom fighters. It’s an exact inversion of the truth. But then again Islam itself is an inversion. The Quran is a demonic inversion of the Bible, sharia is an inversion of natural and divine law, and Allah is an irrational and vicious inversion of the true God.
This definitely is repulsive, and if the Democrats don't distance themselves from Piker, or call for him to be exiled from the USA, that'll speak volumes. Piker hasn't changed an iota, and the topic has to be addressed in Congress.

How the Trump administration ended the left's globalist LGBTQ agenda

Some news that tells how the Trump administration has largely put an end to the globalist LGBTQ agenda the left was pushing at the expense of women and children in particular:
A Thursday report details how President Donald Trump’s slashing of State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) funding has halted the spread of LGBTQ activism across the globe.

The 80-page report, “Breaking Point: The Urgent Need to Invest in Global LGBTQ Movements,” published by Outright International, surveys 229 organizations across 94 countries and aims to show what it characterizes as harm to these communities following the cuts.

Of the LGBTQ organizations surveyed, 90 percent say that they have lost U.S. taxpayer funding since January 2025. Of those organizations, 49 percent lost more than half their total budget, while another 75 percent lost more than a quarter.

Additionally, 40 percent of the organizations surveyed describe themselves as being at severe or immediate risk of closure, while less than 4 percent report being stable.

Countries in which the LGBTQ community is least accepted were twice as likely to lose funding.

Of the organizations surveyed, more than 50 percent explicitly attributed their loss of U.S. taxpayer subsidies to cuts made within the U.S. government.
Well the Biden "administration" certainly wasted tons of taxpayer money for something that was hostile to heterosexual affairs and marriage. Not that they actually promoted this in Islamic countries, where indeed, it's least accepted, and undoubtably, that was deliberate. One such country where they may have was Turkey, interestingly enough, but chances are high the LGBTQ organizations won't complain about that.

This is one thing the Trump administration's done right, and realists who care could do even better by promoting events that emphasize heterosexual pride for a change. I recall there was some gathering, possibly in Texas, that was called "Heterosexual Awesomeness Month", and that's something even Israelis who care could emulate. Including religious ones, seriously.

An Islamic country wanted to sign a peace accord in order to give Israel a false sense of security

Something that shouldn't be too surprising was recently reported in the news, and it should make clear why the Religion of Peace will not make it possible to lead a civilized relationship with an Arabic country so long as they continue to adhere to said religion:
Several days have passed since the dramatic, earth-shattering revelation that a leader of one neighboring country advised another neighboring country to sign some sort of sham agreement with Israel in order to lull it into a false sense of security and then launch a surprise attack. The report received extensive media coverage, and the reactions were, naturally, various expressions of shock and concern. The underlying report said officials from one country had urged another to reach an agreement with Israel as a tactical measure while preparing for a future military confrontation. The identities of the countries remain under military censorship.

I, too, insignificant little me, was shocked and appalled. Almost like that girl I once was, back when the Middle East was still new to me, who could not understand how the man in the keffiyeh could spout clichés about peace in English, incite terrorism in Arabic, and still get photographed with world leaders on the White House lawn; who could not understand how people were being blown apart on buses while elsewhere people were receiving prizes. As a child, I thought there must surely be something I was missing, some dramatic, closely guarded detail that defied ordinary logic and somehow, almost supernaturally, justified this circus.

Don't keep yourselves in suspense. There was no such thing. So thoroughly was there no such thing that even if someone took a putty knife to the floors of the censorship authorities' basements, they would not find a shred of evidence justifying the Israeli obsession, born more or less alongside the state itself, with making peace with our enemies.

Is it really far-fetched to assume that even back then, when peace fever was burning almost as fiercely as the fuel tanks of Jerusalem's No. 18 buses, there were reports resembling this week's revelation about the true intentions of Arab leaders, but the censor did not permit them to be published? How much are our worldviews really based on facts if we are unaware of most of them? And how meaningful is our choice of leaders if the issues that truly matter are never discussed at all?
And what's really grating is how the military won't allow anybody to know just which country it was who wanted to pull a taqqiya act upon Israel. What if it's Syria under Ahmed al-Sharaa? I don't know at all, but men like him certainly didn't improve the perceptions of such countries when they commit the persecution and under the table tactics they specialize in.

This is very disturbing info, and should make clear why such countries, with the Religion of Peace now dominating, cannot be expected to be honest about their intentions.

Federalist writer Eddie Scarry lets his hostility to Israel poke through the seams

Here's another example of how the Federalist's writers are going downhill, as their contributor Eddie Scarry, in pretending neo-cons are truly the ones against J.D. Vance, goes so far as to attack support for Israel from the right-wing side, and perpetuates the RINO opposition to the war on Iran's dictatorship:
Worth slightly more attention is what Thiessen wrote this week in The Washington Post. Recall that Thiessen is the Post content creator and former George W. Bush speechwriter whom Trump, for inexplicable reasons that may be explained in the future, has reportedly been reading and consulting privately about foreign affairs. Thiessen took an opportunity on Thursday to continue the very obviously coordinated attack on Vance planned by a slimy mix of neocons, lazy Republicans, and Israel Firsters.

Evaluating the Iran war, which has grown increasingly unpopular, even among Republicans, Thiessen wrote, “Perhaps it’s time for the president to take the advice of those who have delivered him success in Iran — not those like Vance who have failed him.”

Thiessen blames the failures in Iran not on what certainly look like short-sighted decisions by the commander in chief, but on Vance, whose primary responsibility in the conflict has been negotiating its end with Iran’s leaders. That’s at least honest. But let’s look at what Thiessen says a real victory, without any negotiation, would look like.

He wrote that the war’s objectives are: “eliminate remaining [Iranian] leadership figures; further entomb Iran’s nuclear sites; take out Iran’s remaining ballistic missile sites; destroy the economic and energy infrastructure that provides the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps with a financial lifeline, as well as key highways, railroads, airports and seaports by which the regime gets financial assistance from bordering countries; and demolish Iran’s remaining defense industrial base so it cannot rebuild its destroyed capabilities.” Then, with presumably a straight face, Thiessen said, “That’s it.”

Oh, is that all?!

Well, not really. Thiessen, perhaps to his credit, didn’t even pretend to hide the ball. Though having concluded, “That’s it” — just the complete decimation of a global energy supplier’s entire transportation infrastructure and economy — Thiessen went on to do the equivalent of, But wait! There’s more! He then said the U.S. would simply have to commit to keeping American troops just off the shore of Iran in perpetuity and “provide covert support” to Iranian rebels, in hopes that they might fight their own government. You know, just like they are now! Wait, that’s not actually happening, is it? Oh well!
Mr. Scarry ignores so much of previous research it's not even funny. He relies on reports from the otherwise shoddy AP Wire, doesn't pay any attention to the Tea Party Patriots research on the USA public's support for the war, and even ignores that much of the Iranian inhabitants are unarmed, making it difficult to fight against the Iranian government savages. If that's how Scarry's going to act, can somebody like that be counted on to fight against the Islamofascist regime being established in Europe? Or even the USA itself?

With this, the Federalist continues to send troubling signs they're not dedicated to freedom and liberty any more than say, Ron Paul, who was probably the role model for some of their more questionable writers. It's utterly head-shaking as it's sad they're becoming as overrun with phonies like Scarry, much like the Democrats are becoming overrun with Islamists and communists.

Co-founder of the Federalist continues the Orweillian ignorance act

Perhaps it's not a shock, but Sean Davis, CEO and co-founder of the Federalist, has indicated he's against the war on Iran's tyrants, despite previous research telling there are Americans who believe Iran's Islamofascists should be brought down, and tries to frame it all as some kind of "neocon/never-Trump/RINO" conspiracy, all the while not willing to admit he actually represents such disgraceful movements:
It is inarguable that the war in Iran is a massive drag on Donald Trump’s numbers, as well as those of the Republican Party heading into November. This is largely driven by consistently high gas prices, which also drive up the price of everything else.

Trump obviously knows this, which is why he’s been searching for an off-ramp for months. He knows he was elected to get gas prices down and the economy in shape (which he did until the war jammed up the gears).

But a major problem for Trump’s presidency right now is that nearly everyone outside his inner circle pushing for this war — and this includes the entirety of so-called conservative pundits who never found a war they weren’t willing to make others fight and pay for — also hates Trump (and especially J.D. Vance) and sees the war’s negative effect on his popularity as a secondary benefit of the war they’ve been salivating over for decades. To them, his declining numbers are a feature, not a bug.

With the Iran war, the NeverTrump neocons have gotten everything they ever dreamed of — war (which they love), and a massive political quagmire for Trump that threatens to consume the rest of his presidency and destroy any future political chances of J.D. Vance and the entire MAGA/America First movement.
Boy, this guy sure is clever and cunning, trying to do what the British call "fobbing off" the blame on everyone else but himself, all the while pretending he's actually a Trump supporter himself, but in reality, chances are very high he's actually a Vance supporter for all the wrong reasons. Assuming he supposedly opposes having an Islamic caliphate established in Europe, what Davis is doing decidedly contradicts any claim he might make that he's against having Islamofascism conquer Europe. Seriously, I'm not convinced people like him are against the Religion of Peace at all. Period.

I sadly predicted the Federalist would not debate the points of the Tea Party Patriots' polling research, and Davis' bizarre propaganda screed certainly confirms that, more or less. The Federalist is once again proving they're a blight upon conservatism, and an insult to anybody who's against totalitarianism conquering the world. What if it turns out Davis has no genuine issues with NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani, or even communism? He also ignores very valid reasons why Iran's Islamofascist leaders should be taken down, and is practically undermining efforts to protect the USA in the long run. We can only hope the Federalist's losing audience they don't need over their disgraceful behavior, which again only obscures challenging polls that tell a different story than the ludicrous narrative they sadly want to follow.

What to make of Trump administration's deal with Saudia Arabia?

Donald Trump made a deal with Saudi Arabia to build nuclear power stations, but not to do uranium enrichment, and has a demand they recognize Israel too:
President Donald Trump said Thursday that Saudi Arabia will not enrich uranium under the landmark nuclear deal signed with the U.S. this week.

Trump said the nuclear agreement is subject to Riyadh establishing diplomatic relations with Israel through the Abraham Accords.

“There will be no enrichment of material!”
the president said in a Truth Social post. The deal “is totally subject to Saudi Arabia joining the very respected and successful Abraham Accords,” he said.
Well I certainly hope not. Even so, based on how Saudi Arabia still upholds Islam and doesn't allow other religions to function there, are they reliable when it comes to working on nuclear technology? If they move away from Islam, they could be more trustworthy in that regard, but for now, no.

As I am aware, they did thankfully stop forcing women to wear abayas, but even so, when they stick with the Religion of Peace as they have to date, that's why they still have a long way to go, even if they do recognize Israel's validity.

JD Vance shows his true colors on Joe Rogan's podcasts

The USA vice president is proving to be the one of the worst omens for Israel, and making matters worse is that he aired horrific viewpoints on the podcast of a man who already gave indications he was hostile to Israel too:
U.S. Vice President JD Vance suggested on Wednesday that some elements within the Israeli government backed an influence campaign aimed at undermining the Trump administration’s negotiations with Iran, while emphasizing that Israel remains a U.S. ally.

Speaking on Joe Rogan’s podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Vance said, “I think you have seen this very discreet, extremely well-funded campaign to try to derail the negotiation and try to derail the deal.”

“There was a Times story that came out yesterday that basically there are certain influencers in America who are being paid in order to attack the deal,” Vance said. “It lists a bunch of people who have quite literally been paid by a former Trump campaign person who was himself paid by certain elements within the Israeli government.”

He said he has been accused of taking “marching orders from Tucker Carlson” and that “there’s just so much bullsh** out there when what I’m actually trying to do is accomplish what the president of the United States told me to accomplish.”

The vice president said he had no objection to Israel attempting to influence U.S. policy, calling such efforts a routine part of international diplomacy.

“A lot of other countries do,” Vance said. “I think some are better at it than others. I think the Israelis are definitely more effective at it than most. But I wouldn’t say that they’re the only effective country by any means that tries to influence American politics.”

“I mean, why wouldn’t you?” he said. “It’s a country of 9 million people. We have 330 million people. And so, of course, they’re going to try to persuade Americans. They’re going to try to move Americans in one direction or another. I think that’s just the nature of the beast.”
I think the use of the word "beast" is disturbing, and no matter what he says about not objecting to Israel trying to influence USA policy, it's clear he is disturbingly biased. Ruthie Blum addressed the news like this:
As much as I dislike citing Maya Angelou—and absolutely loathe using a single plural pronoun to describe a single noun—one of the late activist-poet’s famous quotes is so spot on that it bears repeating: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”

This certainly applies to U.S. Vice President JD Vance
, who illustrated it most recently on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

Yes, during a nearly three-hour chat with the most-streamed podcaster on Spotify, Vance yet again showed us just who he is.

Not that it was tough to do with a host like Rogan, who didn’t challenge a word his interviewee said. Oh, other than asking him what “MoU” stands for and expressing surprise that “dove” in the political context is the opposite of “hawk.”

Where blaming the Jews and Israel for the doomed memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Republic was concerned, there was no pushback. On the contrary, Rogan goaded Vance to keep going down his embarrassing rabbit hole of conspiracy theories.

These included the groyper line about sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s deep ties to the Mossad or the CIA. It was as though anti-Israel political commentators and podcasters Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens prepped the VP for the one-on-one. They undoubtedly were pleased with his performance.

Take the following passage, for instance:

“I definitely think you have seen this very discreet, extremely well-funded campaign to try to derail the negotiation and derail the deal,” he said, referring to the MoU with the Islamic Republic that his boss, U.S. President Donald Trump, had declared dead in the water mere days earlier.

Nonetheless, Vance continued in this vein, totally omitting two facts: that Tehran has been blitzing the Gulf (his only mention of the countries in that region is to say that they’re gung-ho for the MoU); and that Israel has been totally out of the fray for many weeks.
Well he certainly isn't helping to end the Iran war sooner than it could be done. Stuff like this also puts his sincerity regarding Europe into doubt. What if it turned out he had some responsibility for getting former Hungarian premiere Viktor Orban voted out? It remains to be seen if Vance will apologize for causing all the trouble he's going to cause with his conspiracy theory tactics, which aren't helping the situation one bit. Just plain embarrassing.

Update: here's what Fox News' Brian Kilmeade has to say about the subject.

The sad passing of Lindsey Graham

This week, a senator who was a good buddy for Israel passed on at 71. Donald Trump said about him:
He added, “He was a worker. He was really a worker. But, but he sounded great, actually. But he was, he was. He actually said he was tired, but he wanted to get the Save America Act. And I said, well, we’re going to get it done, Lindsey. We’re going to get it done. I’ll see you soon. We thought maybe we might even meet today. And then that was it. And that was, you know, around the time; it couldn’t have been much longer. I could have been his last call. I don’t know exactly, but I got a message about 1:00 in the morning from one of the people at his office that he had passed away. I said, you got it. I just can’t believe it. He was like a member of the family to me. It’s very tough.”

Trump concluded, “This is a big blow to the SAVE America Act, let me tell you.”
Also for Israel, sadly. Condolences to his family members. Graham deserved far better.

Update: here's a video of a moment of silence held in the Knesset in Graham's memory.
