Modern America now has a problem with worshiping monsters

Daniel Darling wrote about a chilling situation occurring today where murderers are worshiped:
The trial of Lindsay Clancy, who has admitted killing her three young children but argues that severe mental illness left her not criminally responsible, has gripped the nation. Unlike the O.J. Simpson trial a generation ago, today’s trial watchers have the internet to seek out information and express their opinions. What is perplexing to many is the growing number of women who express support, not for the three precious souls whose lives Clancy ended, but for Clancy herself. Columnist Caitlin Flanagan writes, “What began as admirable compassion for a woman has turned into something strange: an almost exultant, fan-like celebration of Lindsay Clancy.”

Something strange indeed. Yet the Clancy fan club — complete with online support groups and crowds who show up outside the courthouse dressed in pink to cheer her on — is not the only recent cohort of crazy. Luigi Mangione, the 28-year-old man who admitted in federal court that he shot and killed UnitedHealthcare executive Brian Thompson, has a growing legion of supporters. There is even a website where fans can learn how to send Luigi letters and read his statements. This, for a self-confessed killer who left a wife without a husband and two young boys without a father. And, of course, conspiracy theorists, egged on by Candace Owens’s rapid-fire theories, have tried to make alleged Charlie Kirk killer Tyler Robinson a cult hero.
It's repulsive, and the worst part is that it's not new, recalling a creepy cybertroll from Maine on a message board a quarter century ago, who indicated he worshiped Yasser Arafat of the PLO. This same cybertroll also sided with the Columbine murderers from 1999, and that's all you need to know that something is most horrifyingly wrong with modern education in many places. It's also chilling what he could've thought of 9-11, since this occurred a few months after the tragedy. And who knows how easy it'll be to reeducate youth not to worship evil?

"Gays for Gaza" activist was murdered by Muslim migrant in Arizona

A left-wing gay photographer fell victim to the very ideology practiced by the "community" he sided with:
A Gambian immigrant fatally shot two men in the parking lot of the Tucson gay bar Monday before killing himself, in what police have confirmed was a premeditated hate crime targeting the homosexual community.

Tucson police say Ousman Ceesay, 44, opened fire on Vincent Anthony Siqueiros, 42, and Cameron Davis Capara, 33, around 12:30 a.m. outside Venture-N, a longtime gay bar near the University of Arizona campus, NBC News reported. Both victims died at the scene. Ceesay turned a 9mm handgun on himself and later died at a hospital.

Investigators said Ceesay had no known connection to either victim and had only recently relocated to Tucson from Oklahoma City. He was carrying a written list of other LGBT-associated businesses in the area, though surveillance footage reviewed by detectives showed he never attempted to enter Venture-N itself during the attack.

A search of Ceesay’s home turned up a separate note that police say confirmed he acted alone and that the shooting was deliberately aimed at the gay community, the outlet reported. Tucson Police Chief Monica Prieto called the killings “especially heinous” and said bias-motivated violence has no place in the city. Officers have since mad[e] contact with every business named on Ceesay’s list and increased patrols nearby, though authorities say there is no known ongoing threat.

Ceesay had no criminal record in Pima County and was legally permitted to own firearms, police said.

According to his cousin, interviewed by the Arizona Daily Star, he had worked as an Uber driver and was a practicing Muslim who prayed five times daily. Ceesay and his wife filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2018 after accruing more than $76,000 in debt, and that the couple faced eviction over unpaid rent as recently as last year.

Capara, a photographer, had spent years documenting the gay scene, campus life, and pro-Palestinian demonstrations and anti-ICE rallies around Tucson. His father, Jeff Capara, separately told the Star his son cared deeply about people he considered marginalized.
This is almost similar to the antisemitic tragedy in Australia last year, when a jihadist who had a gun permit attacked a Chanuka celebration at the beach. The difference here is that one of the victims was far-left, and an Antifa activist:
According to reporter Andy Ngo, Ceesay is a Muslim, and one of his victims, Capara, was afflicted with the left-wing movement known as Antifa.

“He advocated anti-American views and supported mass illegal migration,”
Ngo said of Capara.
Yet in the end, his standings did not protect him from the Religion of Peace. And no telling if any other leftists at the site of incident will reevaluate their beliefs.

European left-wing activist arrested for sexually harassing minor

About a week ago, this disturbing report from the Barkai district came up:
A European left-wing activist was arrested on Saturday near the Barkai neighborhood at the entrance to the settlement of Carmel in Judea and Samaria, following an incident in which he was filmed clinging to a 10-year-old Jewish boy in a manner that raised suspicion of sexual harassment. The boy's father filed a complaint with the police, and the suspect was detained at the scene until officers arrived. He was then arrested and taken in for questioning.

The incident began when three children, ages 10 to 12, made their way from the settlement of Carmel toward the Barkai neighborhood. About 50 meters (164 feet) from the neighborhood, the children encountered Palestinians and foreign left-wing activists who were in the area, and at some point, the group began to obstruct their path. During the confrontation, the suspect was filmed clinging to the 10-year-old boy, in a manner that led to suspicion of sexual harassment.

Residents of the neighborhood, who noticed what was happening and the children's distress, arrived at the scene and detained the suspect until security forces arrived. Police arrested him, and the boy's father filed a formal complaint. [...]

Following the incident, Eliram Azulay, head of the South Hebron Hills Regional Council, criticized the activity of these activists in the area. "We have been experiencing a long period of provocations from anti-Israel activists who live near the Barkai neighborhood and try every way possible to disrupt residents' daily routine," he said. He added, "This time, it's a dangerous and criminal red line that must not be met with silence. Harming children is a serious crime, and we expect the Israel Police and the justice system to enforce the full severity of the law against the attacker, without compromise."
This only confirms why said activists are siding with the Islamofascists there - because they agree with the beliefs of the Religion of Peace. The offender should be imprisoned and exiled permanently for what he committed.

Hasan Piker desecrates the memory of Charlie Kirk

Daniel McCarthy reports the far-left Islamist Piker has been stirring up hatefests against the late Kirk, who was murdered last year by a LGBT practitioner:
Hasan Piker is deeply envious of Charlie Kirk.

The hard-left influencer debated Kirk in 2017 and was set to do so again before Kirk was murdered last year.

Yet now Piker is going around mocking Kirk’s assassination, leading a crowd last weekend, during his live podcast tour, in a sarcastic singalong of an AI-generated song called “We Are Charlie Kirk.”

“We are Charlie Kirk, we carry the flame. We’ll fight for the Gospel, we’ll honor his name,” Piker sang off-key, the crowd howling along, while the celebrity socialist’s co-hosts guffawed and waved their arms in the air.

This wasn’t satirizing a political opponent—Kirk has been dead nearly a year.

Why make him the subject of this derision?

It’s because Piker knows his audience, and they’re not looking for thoughtful politics. They want a hatefest.

Readers of George Orwell’s “Nineteen Eighty-Four” might remember the totalitarian leftist party that runs the dystopian state in that novel regularly held events called a “Two Minutes Hate” to whip up hostility against the regime’s enemies.

Piker has improved on thathis podcast and live events like this offer more than an hour’s hate.

And nobody stirs the Piker crowd into a frenzy like Charlie Kirk
.

The slain Turning Point USA founder represents everything they’re against, and not just because he was a widely successful conservative organizer who won young Americans away from socialism on the unfriendly campuses where he spoke—and where he ultimately died for his beliefs.
Very disturbing indeed. And this is whom the far-left embraces today? A very bad omen for the USA, and everywhere else. Will Kirk's family sue Piker for this? They should. What Piker's doing is deeply offensive.

What else did Milo Yiannopoulos do wrong?

A gay provocoteur who was supposedly a "conservative" has since broken the law on immigration in the USA, and has been deported. Based on what else is told here about Yiannapoulous, he was asking for it:
Disgraced British provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Thursday and will remain in custody pending deportation, the Department of Homeland Security announced Friday.

Yiannopoulos, a 41-year-old British citizen, was arrested at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. DHS said he legally entered the United States through New York City on May 14, 2019, but overstayed his visa.

An immigration judge issued Yiannopoulos a final order of removal on July 22 after he failed to appear for an immigration hearing, according to DHS. [...]

TMZ first reported that immigration officers had apprehended Yiannopoulos at the airport ahead of a Kanye West concert scheduled for Friday night in New Orleans.

Yiannopoulos previously served as West’s chief of staff and political director. The former Breitbart News editor also served as an unpaid summer intern for former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in 2022.

Yiannopoulos’ career collapsed in 2017 after footage surfaced in which he argued that relationships between older men and younger boys could be a positive “coming-of-age” experience
.

He stated that such relationships could “help those young boys discover who they are and give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable sort of rock, where they can’t speak to their parents.”

That same year, footage surfaced of Yiannopoulos in 2016 singing at a Dallas bar as members of the crowd gave Nazi salutes. The bar’s owner said the staff began removing the group once the “Neo-Nazi type stuff” started, saying the establishment did not condone it.
Those vile statements of his involving children were repulsive, and it was humiliatingly bad what he did. How couldn't we have seen through this chalatan to begin with? He even recently indicated he was kowtowing to Islam, and that spoke volumes too. Taylor Greene's also a bad lot, and why isn't it shocking he'd work as an intern for her?

Anyway, it looks like he's already been shipped back to Britain, and may never have a chance to return to the USA. He really was useless for the conservative movement, and if he was trying to humiliate it in the long run, he sure did quite a job in that context. Maybe he should now languish in a prison cell, based on what he said about young boys, and his drivel is more than reason enough to fully ostracize him.

Financial manager of SPLC arrested for fraud

More news about the now disgraced Southern Poverty Law Center, whose finance manager was arrested for fraud:
Former Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) chief financial officer Heidi Beirich was arrested in California and charged in the Justice Department’s case alleging that the organization secretly used donor money to pay informants inside white supremacist groups, CNN exclusively reported Wednesday.

Beirich, who previously led SPLC efforts to monitor organizations it identified as extremist or white supremacist, was charged in a superseding indictment with wire fraud conspiracy, conspiracy to submit false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to conceal money laundering, according to CNN.

Prosecutors allege Beirich helped oversee the use of donor funds to compensate sources operating inside extremist organizations. They also allege she shared a bank account with one of those sources while the two were in a romantic relationship.

“I believe she was part of the effort to open bank accounts in completely fictitious companies’ names and make payments to individuals for reasons that were not accurate as described,” Attorney General Todd Blanche said at a Wednesday news conference. “This is exactly what we said would happen in a case like this, which is that our investigators and the U.S. attorneys and the agents working the case will keep on working it even after the initial indictment.”
Some of these phony outfits certainly are some of the worst monetary fraudsters around. Now, one of their awful staff is facing consequences for her own involvement in illegal activities.

California state assembly takes lenient approach to sex offenders running for office

The California state assembly's Democrats refused to support a bill that would've prohibited sex offenders from running for office. And this was something a Democrat woman had brought in for a vote:
California lawmakers killed a bill that would have barred registered sex offenders from running for office Tuesday after advancing a similar bill allowing candidates who have committed sex crimes against minors.

Bill 2753, proposed by Democratic state Assemblywoman Esmeralda Soria in February, would have amended California’s elections code to prohibit all registered sex offenders from running for any state or local office, according to the text of the bill. The bill failed in the California Senate Elections and Constitutional Amendments Committee Tuesday after moving through the California State Assembly with bipartisan support, Los Banos Enterprise reported.

Bill 2691, introduced by Democratic State Assemblywoman Dawn Addis in February, is similar legislation that bans individuals convicted of specific felony sexual assault or human trafficking crimes from running for office. It passed the California Senate Elections and Constitutional Amendments Committee last week. Unlike Bill 2753, this bill does not cover all offenses requiring sex offender registration.

Before the Senate committee advanced the bill, legislators amended it by defining “sexual assault” so certain criminal convictions would not bar individuals from candidacy. Under the amendment, individuals guilty of sodomy, oral copulation, or sexual penetration against minors under certain conditions are not included under the definition of “sexual assault” and can still run for office.
What's happened in California now is just another reason why not to visit or support anything about the state. They have really brought themselves down to horrific levels with this kind of shunning of vigilance and responsibility.

A wise decision made by the Shin Bet director

The director of Israel's Shin Bet intel movement cancelled a LGBT event, and focus on the core missions of the organization:
Shin Bet Director David Zini has decided not to approve the holding of an LGBT event on behalf of the agency, to cancel invitations that had been sent out, and to remove signs or symbols that were already being prepared, Channel 12 News reported.

The LGBT event, according to sources involved in organizing it, was canceled by an “order from above" without any further explanation.

According to those sources, all of their requests were rejected, including a request to display an LGBT banner on a screen in the Shin Bet building, a request to install a screensaver on computers, a request to hang LGBT flags in the event hall, and a request to use the organization’s systems to distribute designated content.

According to the report, Zini is also working to shut down the LGBT forum within the Shin Bet, and the organization’s Human Resources Division has been instructed to transfer the dedicated budget for LGBT-related matters to the general budget.

The Shin Bet did not provide a response to the claims.
This was the right thing to do, because it was pointless, promoting perverted visions of how to manage life, insulting to what the Torah/Bible stands for, and just like how various businesses are moving away from supporting this wokeism in the USA and other places, Israel obviously has to start doing the same. I remember when a poll was taken 3 years ago where Jerusalemites said the LGBT pride parade should be cancelled, and hopefully, that too will fade away in time. For now, the Shin Bet did the right thing to stop pandering to wokeism. What matters is to focus on more serious issues like combating Islamic terrorism.

How LGBT movements became so full of antisemitism

Here's a discussion of the antisemitism that's prevalent in many LGBT movements:
Pride began as a celebration of survival. The foundational belief was simple and radical: the closet is a form of violence. Hiding who you are does real damage. A generation of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and trans people built something extraordinary on that premise — legal rights, visibility, cultural legitimacy — and taught the world that no one should be forced to choose which part of themselves to suppress in order to be accepted.

That same movement is now asking Jews to leave their Star of David at the door.

Eve Barlow has been documenting this inversion from the inside. As a lesbian Jewish journalist who spent the first decade of her career at NME and writing cover stories for GQ, Elle, and The Guardian, she was woven into the fabric of progressive cultural life.

In 2019, she started saying one thing out loud: that the anti-Zionism rising around her was antisemitism in a new coat. The world that had welcomed her turned on her. She named her Substack after what followed: Blacklisted.

Thrown Out for Wearing a Star

In the week before this conversation, two married Jewish women, both American, one American-Israeli, walked into a queer women’s sauna night in Barcelona wearing Stars of David. What happened next was not spontaneous.

Barlow, who has spoken directly with the couple, believes the organizers were alerted in advance. The interrogation was initiated by a trans woman, a deliberate choice in Barlow’s reading: the trans identifier carries the highest position in the current oppression hierarchy, which offers maximum plausible deniability and minimum capacity for the targets to push back without being framed as the aggressor. The questions were calibrated: “We have no problem with the star. We have a problem with Zionists.” A second figure appeared, fluent in English, smugly explaining to two Jewish women that Zionism and Judaism are not the same thing.

The three perpetrators, once identified, were a trans biology teacher, a sociology doctorate at the University of Barcelona, and a queer lawyer who is also an author and parent.
No doubt, the "trans identifier" is a man, and any man who identifies that way is very deliberately considered superior to women in every way in far-left circles. And now the antisemitism that was surely long there is coming to the fore, as Ms. Barlow's found out the hard way. There's more to be read, but for now, this should serve as an important lesson why it's ill-advised to pander to leftist causes, because they will not "have one's back", as pro-Israel sources must surely assume. The LGBT movement is surely anti-Torah too, and that says quite a bit as well.

How conservatives woke up and realized their support for homosexual marriage "rights" was harming children

In past decades, many conservatives/Republicans regrettably supported LGBT ideology, until they finally realized that, worse than validating perverse practices, mainly by men, it was seriously hurting children in the process:
Conservatives are jumping the gay marriage ship. According to a new Gallup poll, Republican support for same-sex marriage has plummeted from 55 percent in 2021 and 2022 to just 37 percent today.

The reason is simple: Republicans were told that supporting same-sex marriage meant supporting their gay brother, daughter, coworker, or friend. They were told that opposing it meant they hated gay people, and many bought it. If supporting same-sex marriage was simply the price of treating loved ones with dignity and respect, they were willing to pay it.

What they were not told was that same-sex marriage would victimize kids
. No sooner had gay marriage been achieved on the grounds that marriage had nothing to do with children than activists, judges, and lawmakers turned around and demanded parenthood too.

Republicans have no interest in persecuting their gay friends and family members. What they reject is the claim that adult equality requires making children lose their mother or father. And after a decade of watching the consequences unfold, it has become obvious that “equal marriage” was never just about adult “rights.” It was about parenthood and children.
Some could say it was about cutting the mother out of the child's life, and in hindsight, I think ultra-Orthodox clans like the Satmar have some blame to shoulder for putting the keys in the ignition with their ideological approach. Even Islam's doubtless had some responsibility, based on its horrific suppression of women. One could wonder if LGBT activists paid attention to the MO of certain religious movements and adapted some of it for their own MO as well. The irony some aren't willing to consider is that religion may have played a much larger role than we think in leading to homosexuality and transsexuality by extension. Also in discussion in this article is how the efforts to remove gendered words from legal statues are still prevalent, in New York, if anywhere:
Parenthood statutes are being stripped of sexed terms. Mothers and fathers are now interchangeable “parents.” Infertility is being reclassified so same-sex couples can deliberately produce motherless or fatherless children with the help of insurance subsidies. Birth certificates have been altered to legally exclude a child’s biological parent. New parentage pathways bypass both biological and adoptive safeguards. It is the legal obliteration of the nuclear family. When familial distinctions are erased, children become items to be awarded by state-enforced contract.

The madness has not stopped. Even now, New York Democrats are advancing legislation that continues to scrub sex-specific parentage language from state law. New York legalized commercial surrogacy through its version of the UPA, the ironically named Child-Parent Security Act. Now lawmakers are cleansing the remaining statutory code so the language matches the new reality they created, replacing longstanding mother-and-father terminology with sex-neutral parentage concepts.

That’s because if you can’t name it, you can’t legally defend it. And gay activists regard even the mention of mothers and fathers as an attack on their “rights.”
And this is another reason why I'd rather not visit NY ever again. Who would've thought it be one of the worst places you could live in the USA? And only Muslims will be allowed to retain the dignity of father-mother descriptions, no doubt. NY is really going down the drain of all this shoddy propaganda.

Something going wrong with Miss Israel pageant in its current incarnation

I didn't know this clearly until now, but the Miss Israel pageant is still being held, in Florida rather than Israel itself, and it seems there's a controversy over where it could be going now:
The next Miss Israel may not be Israeli and may be part of a rigged competition, according to Miss Israel 2025 Melanie Shiraz, who warned that the same franchise holder that had allegedly subjected her to threats and extortion was stripping the institution of its Israeli character.

From the small pool of preselected candidates, only one had recently acquired Israeli citizenship. Shiraz understood that the new Miss Israel would be asked by the franchise owner, Edgar Entertainment, to apply for Israeli citizenship before the Miss Universe competition.

For the past two years, the competition was run from Miami, rather than in Israel, and encouraged non-Israeli Jews to apply.

“I represented Israel during one of the most difficult periods in our country’s history. That’s why it has been deeply upsetting to watch the title become increasingly disconnected from Israel itself,” said Shiraz. “A title called Miss Israel should belong to Israelis and give voice to the people whose story it is supposed to tell. If it no longer does, then what exactly does Miss Israel mean anymore?”

Becoming Miss Israel meant becoming a public ambassador for the state at a time when it was facing challenges to its history and right to exist, explained Shiraz, a responsibility that she contended required a thorough understanding of Israeli culture, society, and the Hebrew language.
Well it could be worse: what if they allow a man pretending to be a woman to participate, no matter his ethnic background? Will Shiraz or anybody else like her stand for that? Because if she does, she'll be throughly letting down self-respecting women everywhere, Jewish or otherwise, and that's a terrible example to be set for Israelis. But I will admit it's questionable if a woman who's not an Israeli citizen ends up serving as winner/spokesperson, if she doesn't speak in favor of Israel properly. And I definitely agree with Shiraz that if the current owner did anything horrific to her, that was wrong and whoever it is should be jailed for possible criminal offenses. These entertainment programs cannot be held hostage to corrupt businesses.

Bnei Brak resident arrested for sexually abusing 6-year-old boy

While repellent anti-Israel Haredi clans are blocking traffic to protest the arrest of draft dodgers, among other horrific acts, they completely ignore horrific cases like the following:
Police arrested a 35-year-old Bnei Brak resident named Meir Levi on suspicion of committing an indecent act against a 6-year-old boy in the city. Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court extended his detention until tomorrow. Police are calling on anyone who recognizes the suspect and was harmed by him to contact the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan police.
It goes without saying this is another abominable example of how sexual abuse is one of the biggest disasters to occur in Haredi societies. That they only care about causing misery for anybody they don't agree with while this goes on speaks volumes.

Democrats only want a women's museum that doesn't respect femininity

The Democrats opposed developing a women's museum because what the Republicans are proposing doesn't adhere to their repulsive ideas, such as men pretending to be women:
“House Democrats oppose a bill for a Smithsonian women’s history museum.”

This is not a sentence I ever expected to read.

Aren’t Democrats supposed to be the feminists? The champions of inclusion? The self-appointed defenders of the “disadvantaged”? And on top of that, they are the ones who pushed for the women’s museum to begin with.

Last week, the House voted on HR 1329, legislation concerning the establishment of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum. Despite the Office of Management and Budget’s statement of support for the bill, it failed to pass the vote.

Initially introduced by Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., the bill later became the subject of controversy after Rep. Mary Miller, R-Ill., added language clarifying that the museum would recognize biological women in its exhibits.

Apparently, complying with the actual definition of a woman makes you “far-right”
; at least that is what a quick online search of Mary Miller will tell you.

Once Miller’s amendment was adopted, many Democrats who had previously supported the bill suddenly withdrew support—an unsurprising choice given the Left’s agenda. An American Women’s History Museum was acceptable only so long as the definition of “woman” itself remained, well … undefined.

In the final 204-216 vote last week, several brave Republicans actually joined the Democrats to vote against the bill. But this was because they rightly don’t see the need for a women’s history museum at all.
Even if a women's museum isn't the most important thing needed right now, the way the Democrats approached all this is still reprehensible, and makes clear they're not a reliable party for women at all. So when will any self-respecting women break ties with the Democrats for a change?

NYC communist doesn't want sex offenders jailed

Catherine Salgado says there's a communist in NYC named Conrad Blackburn who's advocating a horrific position that seems to have become a very sad staple for the most irrational leftists in the modern world:
Every day brings a new scandal for the political left in America, as yet another of its candidates turns out to be in favor of policies every American would once have found laughably disqualifying.

The latest is New York City Assembly candidate Conrad Blackburn, whom the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) back, and who believes that criminals convicted of homicide, rape, and child molestation should not go to prison, they should just go to reeducation programs. Of course, data from multiple countries and several decades proves this is a disastrous plan, but why let reality interfere with socialistic utopian policies? After all, politicians such as Blackburn probably assume that the serial criminals they release will never kill or assault them.

Bronx Defenders staff lawyer Blackburn is running against incumbent New York City Assemblyman Jordan Wright, and part of his pitch during a March episode of his podcast “Brothers In Law,” according to the New York Post, was not to jail criminals guilty of “predatory sexual assaults of children” and homicide. “Even if, like, the client is guilty as f–king sin, I still don’t think that the punishment, like, meets what happened,” Blackburn rambled.
While some of Blackburn's fellow leftists may have also attacked his positions, this still stands out as one of the most repulsive examples of what New York seems to turn out these days, and why I don't want to visit them anymore. Some of the facts the disgusting assemblyman obscures include that:
The 1996 study in Canada found that 42% of child molesters will have a new sexual or violent offense conviction within 15 to 30 years after they are released, and that among those who are homosexual and target young boys, the recidivism rate is up to 77%. A 2004 review of 95 studies estimated an overall recidivism rate for sex offenders of about 37%. The Prison Policy Initiative used Bureau of Justice Statistics in 2019 to note that over two-thirds of rapists and sexual criminals reoffend within nine years, while almost 8 and 10 violent offenders will reoffend within the same time period.
And that's why sexual violence remains a very serious issue. I hesitate to think what that man's positions could be on October 7, 2023. NYC is a burg I would rather not visit again.

British politician Wes Streeting once made threats against Geert Wilders

As questions go about as to whether Keir Starmer will resign from his role as Britain's premier, it's sad to note that one of his challengers is the openly gay Wes Streeting, whom Geert Wilders says once made death threats against him nearly 2 decades back:
One of Britain’s most ambitious politicians, who is lined up to launch a leadership challenge against the Prime Minister as soon as today, previously said he was considering founding a vigilante organisation “to push nasty people under trains,” including prominent Dutch politician Geert Wilders.

Dutch populist Geert Wilders, the so-called “kingmaker” in the last Dutch government and the leader of the Party for Freedom, one of the Netherlands’ largest political parties, responded to the emergence of British Labour politician Wes Streeting as a likely candidate to be the next Prime Minister by recalling Streeting’s publicly expressed fantasies of political murders. Wilders wrote: “Look what [Streeting] wrote about me in 2009. He wanted to push me – a Dutch MP – under a train”. Wilders published a screenshot of a now-deleted Twitter post where Streeting fantasised about murders, writing of Wilders and a British journalist: “Considering starting my own vigilante org to push nasty people under trains. First up Jan Moir, followed by Geert Wilders…”.

While some may attempt to rationalise away such rhetoric as harmless, death threats towards politicians are not trivial in the Netherlands. Wilders’ predecessor as the figurehead of the Dutch anti-mass migration movement, Pim Fortuyn, was assassinated by a left-wing extremist citing the defence of Islam during the campaign for the 2002 general election. Mr Wilders himself has lived under 24-hour armed police protection since 2004 over frequent threats and actual plots against his life by extremists.

The 2009 threat from Streeting was in response to an article by Jan Moir that some alleged was homophobic, allegations that led to a police and Crown Prosecution Service investigation at the time. Looking back to the episode in a 2024 article, Moir stated that police investigation found the column was not in fact homophobic and that no crime had been committed and decried Streeting’s eventual apology for the repeated threats to throw her under a train as a “pompous, self-serving non-apology… a third-person apology by proxy… a chancer’s masterstroke”.
If Moir were a Muslim, what are the chances he probably wouldn't have taken issue at all? For now, what's clear is that a very irrational man could be on the brink of becoming Starmer's replacement, even though he doesn't deserve the role any more than Ireland's Leo Varadkar, considering all the harm he enabled in the country that also affected LGBT practitioners as well. What this makes clear is that even Britain's losing its common sense in the political realm, and who knows if Streeting will ever convincingly apologize to Wilders?

The LGBT/palestinian war on reality

Therapist Daniel Winston writes about the similarities between the transsexual ideology movement and the fabrication of an Arab/Islamic state called "palestine", the latter word which was coined by the Roman empire and put to use by anti-Israelists in over 50 years for delegitimazation purposes:
One of the defining absurdities of the modern West is not that human beings imagine things. Human beings have always imagined tribes, roles, myths, masks, costumes, and symbolic identities. The deeper absurdity is that entire political and moral systems are now expected to reorganize reality around subjective feeling and declaration.

If enough of the “right" kind of people assert something loudly enough, emotionally enough, and long enough, the claim is no longer treated as a claim. It becomes an identity. Then it becomes sacred. Then questioning it becomes “violence."

This is the twisted age of imagined identity.

The pattern is visible in the most radical corners of transgenderism. Human gender is not assigned by mood, costume, declaration, or bureaucratic intimidation. In ordinary human development, XX chromosomes are associated with female development and XY chromosomes with male development, with the Y chromosome and SRY region typically directing male development. Yes, differences of gender development exist. Medicine recognizes chromosomal and anatomical variations. But those conditions prove that biology is real, not that sex is an inner feeling detached from the body.

The existence of medical exceptions does not abolish the biological categories by which the exceptions are understood. This is not an attack on people who suffer from gender dysphoria. Serious people can recognize real distress without cruelty or mockery. But compassion for suffering is not the same as surrendering reality to the tyranny of personal or group fantasy.

Yet the new doctrine demands more than kindness. It demands metaphysical obedience. A man becomes a woman because he says so. A woman becomes a man because she feels so. Some now float identities so untethered from biological reality that the self becomes an act of private invention, while the rest of society is commanded to applaud.

This same civilizational pattern helps explain another modern invention: the myth of an ancient “Palestinian Arab people."

Arabs lived in the Land of Israel. Families, clans, villages, Muslims, Christians, and others lived there. That is not the issue. The issue is whether there existed, before the modern war against Zionism, a distinct ancient Palestinian Arab nation with its own sovereign history, language, kings, institutions, literature, currency, religion, or national consciousness.

There did not.

Even Arab and pro-Arab sources repeatedly said so both before and after the mythology hardened into international theology
.

-In 1919, the General Syrian Congress told the King-Crane Commission that there should be “no separation" of “the southern part of Syria, known as Palestine," from Syria.

-In 1946, Lebanese-American historian Philip Hitti testified that there was “no such thing as Palestine in history."

-In 1977, senior PLO official Zuhair Mohsen told the Dutch newspaper Trouw that “the Palestinian people does not exist" and that a separate Palestinian identity was maintained “for political reasons."

-More recently, Hamas official Fathi Hammad acknowledged that many 'Palestinian' Arabs trace their origins to Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

These are not “Zionist extremists" denying Arab humanity. They are Arab and pro-Arab voices acknowledging what history shows: “Palestinian" was long a geographic and political label before it was retrofitted into an imaginary ancient nationality. The books Phantom Nation by Shai ben Tekoa and From Time Immemorial by Joan Peters document this reality exceptionally well.

Under the British Mandate, Jews were called Palestinians and Arabs most expressly were not. The Jerusalem Post was originally the Palestine Post. The Palestine Symphony Orchestra was Jewish. “Palestine" was a place-name used by foreign rulers, not the name of an ancient Arab nation. The term itself was imposed by Rome after the Bar Kokhba revolt as part of an effort to erase Judea from the map using the name of the Jews ancient enemies, the Philistines, to further the humiliation of the conquered Jews.
Read it all, and see how disgraceful it is that this warping of reality continues, right down to how LGBT practitioners are perfectly willing to ally themselves with the Religion of Peace, because for both antisemitism trumps all.

The IDF sadly has a problem with gender bigotry, pro-LGBT positions and even dhimmitude to PLO figures, even after October 7, 2023

A horrifying case turned up of female IDF soldiers who were court-martialed for wearing outfits like tank tops when they were being discharged, and it's caused valid outrage:
The IDF court-martialed three female soldiers and docked a third of their salaries for wearing purportedly revealing clothes to base when they arrived to be discharged this week, two of the soldiers’ mothers said.

The military confirmed the incident on Friday, saying it “constitutes a departure from orders and was therefore handled by the deputy commander of the unit in accordance with the IDF’s disciplinary code of conduct.” The women had a right to appeal, the military added.

Soldiers typically show up to base in civilian clothing on the day of their discharge, when they often take celebratory photos of themselves cutting their military ID cards once they return their equipment and complete the requisite paperwork.

On social media, one of the mothers shared the ID-cutting photo that her daughter, who had served as a commander in basic training for non-combat soldiers, took with some colleagues who were also finishing their service.

Three of the women in the photo wore a tank top, a short skirt and a crop top, respectively. Shortly after they cut their ID cards, the three were put on trial and fined for “dressing inappropriately,” she said, calling the incident “repulsive and humiliating.”

“We got home, with headlines in the background about funding for draft-dodging Haredim and about Holocaust Remembrance Day, and it hit me,”
she wrote about the immediate aftermath. “How upside-down everything is here. And what an incredible girl I have.”

Another of the soldiers’ mothers suggested on Facebook that her daughter’s “show trial” was a case study in misogyny.

“What was the point? To educate? To make an example of them? To stop them from repeating the horrible act of wearing jeans and a tank top?”
wrote the mother, an attorney, on Facebook. “I wonder if male soldiers being discharged while wearing a tank top would have also been court-martialed. For some reason, I think not.”
On this, they may be alluding to how the IDF is quite possibly far more likely to take an entirely different direction when it comes to male homosexuality: if some gay men were practically photographing themselves kissing while wearing said outfits, chances are more likely they'd see no such disciplinary action at all. And there have been strong suggestions that's the disturbing situation in the IDF. Suggesting in turn they have a "classist" system at work, where men anywhere similar to Haredis are considered a degree above women in status, but a degree below gay men. Women rightfully offended by this incident should also consider that, if LGBT movements haven't backed them, that's exactly why they shouldn't rely upon said movements for side support, just like Jewish movements in the USA shouldn't rely on LGBT movements when it comes to seeking support against antisemitism, and let's not forget how supporters of transsexual ideology enabled misogyny to flourish in the past decade, along with antisemitism.
The incident came amid renewed criticism of religious coercion in the armed forces following the recent detention of four Border Police combat medics accused of “harming religion and Judaism” by barbecuing in a non-populated part of a base during the Jewish Sabbath.

MK Naama Lazimi, of the left-leaning Democrats party, slammed the punishment of the women as theocratic overreach.

“We have to protect the IDF from this insanity,”
wrote Lazimi, adding that the women should “not only sue, but issue a sexual harassment complaint.”

“Fining a woman for her civilian clothing is to humiliate her, turn her into a sexual object and in practice sexually harass her by disparagement and comments about her clothing,”
wrote Lazimi on Instagram.
While I don't approve of Lazimi's leftist politics, and wouldn't be surprised if she's not being altruistic (what are the chances she has no issues with Islam's misogyny?), the complaints in themselves are valid, and the victims of this abomination should take legal action against any and all staffers who made petty issues over their outfits, which should not be even the least bit controversial, even in military service. It should also be noted that this is practically what led to October 7, 2023, and that the IDF would do something so repulsive after what many Jewish women were graphically raped and murdered for as much as their ethnicity is unspeakably evil. Those army staffers who court martialed the girls should not be working in the army at all. They should be arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned.
Meanwhile, the military has promoted the expansion of gender-segregated frameworks to accommodate ultra-Orthodox soldiers, and a recent conservative campaign has called to remove women from the army outright.

Earlier this month, the IDF took down the music video of an original Passover song that was included in the army rabbinate’s Hagaddah, which critics said consigned women to the home and neglected their contributions in the military.

The furor over the Passover song came days after criticism within the Shin Bet over a letter from the spouse of the security agency’s chief, David Zini, to “the wives of security personnel,” which was seen to reinforce gender stereotypes.
Well this too is decidedly an embarrassment, and one of the worst things about this debacle is that it was quite possibly intended to damage the Netanyahu government's reputation, and even cause damage during the upcoming election later this year. Which is precisely why it's vital this subject be addressed publicly, and the country's rabbinate would do well to reach out to the girls and show solidarity with them. Yes, I am firmly serious here. Right-wing and Orthodox Judaist movements should openly address this now.

I also noticed in the article comments section the following:
My daughter is one of the women. It was actually 4 soldiers that were court-martialed, not 3. The fourth one was cropped out of this picture. She came home that day on Monday with such a bad taste in her mouth from her last day of service. She said many, many soldiers come like that on their last day, and none of them had any idea this could happen.
I'm most terribly sorry this happened, and hope the observant Orthodox Judaist community in Israel feels the same way. That's why they have to publicly speak out in the girls' defense and let them know the IDF doesn't speak for Orthodox Judaists. They'd also do well to condemn the IDF requiring women in a marathon wear pants while men were allowed to wear shorts. That too is deeply offensive and gender-bigoted.

Equally disturbing is an incident that occurred in the past month, where a soldier was disciplined/dismissed for toppling a statue of PLO savage Yaser Arafat, and that too strongly suggests the IDF's overlorded by leftists who see nothing wrong with Islamofacism, despite any recent indications to the contrary. Let's be clear. This kind of cowardice cannot continue, and any and all personnel who were involved in the humiliation of those 4 lady soldiers owes a colossal apology, and must resign, not to mention ensure that in or out of the army, they'll make sure these kind of misogynist monstrosities don't happen any longer in the post-October 7 era.

The sad crisis of uglification

Jamie Wilson's written about the modern obsession on the left with uglifying everything, and how beauty's suffered from it as a result:
Tolkien shows us exactly how it works. The ruffians and “gatherers and sharers” that took over the peaceful Shire don’t just loot; they uglify. They close the old inns, fell beloved trees, replace hobbit-holes with ugly, mean brick houses, pollute the water, and craft and post ugly rules and propaganda. But why bother making things hideous? Why is it important to destroy beauty?

Because beauty is quietly powerful. The ordinary hobbit could go outside in the evening and smoke his pipe, gazing out across the lovely green hills of the Shire. Daily, they saw that life could be ordered, delightful, and worth defending. Once beauty is ruined, there is less to care about, less to fight for. Compliance becomes normal — after all, the Party Tree has already been cut down and left to rot, so there's nothing to fight for. Quaint Bagshot Row is an open quarry. Gatherers take surplus and more, despoiling what they don’t take. The hobbits grumble, of course, but they are demoralized, hungry but not starving, and much easier to control because they just don’t care anymore.

We saw the same things in the old Soviet Union
. Socialist realism, with its austere lines and solid colors, replaced real art with propaganda posters praising the USSR and the worker. Beautiful, graceful cathedrals and exotic Russian onion domes were replaced by brutalist concrete blocks. Fashion and music and gathering places, things of delight, were flattened into drabness, functional but not fun. Because the state could not redistribute beauty, and because beauty gives people joy and hope, beauty was pathologized, called bourgeois, and replaced with an antiseptic, dark aesthetic. The common man was given enough “culture” to be sated, but never enough to satisfy the hunger of his soul for beauty. Other, darker things filled that void.

Today’s Quiet Uglification

We’re watching a softer version play out in real time, especially in the cultural sphere. One of the most visible symptoms is the trend toward ugliness among segments of young liberal or feminist women in America and Europe, especially: deliberate androgyny, rejection of makeup or feminine presentation, garish and jarring hair colors, glorification of obesity under the banner of “body positivity,” and an overall embrace of what can only be called uglification. This is not simply a trend or fashion or a fad, but rather the same dynamic we saw in the Soviet Union and the Shire. But this dynamic uses guilt and fitting in as enforcement mechanisms. Striving for conventional beauty is “internalized patriarchy,” “fatphobia,” or complicity in oppression. The message is don’t try too hard, or you’re betraying the group. The result? Personal self-sabotage that signals virtue inside the subculture, transferring the ego boost young women once got from looking nice to the “you go girl” affirmation from her peers.
Obviously, this is terrible it's happened over the past decade, and we can only hope the art scene will recover. But what's also angering is that in the past, religious hysteria also played a part in leading to this. Locally, I've felt extreme ultra-Orthodox influence had its own role in damaging women's dignity, along with imagery in advertising, by seeing to it said imagery would be censored altogether, along with singing/music. Such cases make me wonder if leftists thought that the religious communities weren't serious about supporting women's rights and dignity, to the point where they believed said religious communities wouldn't give a damn if they turned everything ugly. As a result, the left filled a vacuum that was shamefully enabled by hysterical pious folks. And of course, that means religions that aren't Islam, or anything similar to it.

I'm very disappointed in western religious movements that came within even miles of leading to the situations they did in past years, because they put the keys in the ignition for what the left brought about in the past decade. And any religious figures who don't address this, and don't have the courage to, are only furthering the disgrace. So I'd highly appreciate it that after October 7, 2023, Judaist religious figures who really don't want to let division continue in any way kindly address issues like what Wilson's spoken about, and call for stopping all the anti-sex hysteria they led to that's deeply hurt women's status and civil rights. The atrocities that the Haredi extremists caused in the past decade and more can't go ignored anymore by anybody who understands the issues involved.

Man from Jerusalem was sexually harrassed by Egyptian border guards in Sinai

A tourist from Jerusalem had a disturbing account to relay of what happened at the Sinai border crossing:
A young Israeli man from the Jerusalem area who recently returned from a vacation in Sinai has come forward with a disturbing account of what he says happened at the Taba border crossing on his way home. According to him, while passing alone through the Egyptian side of the crossing – just steps from the Israeli border – he was sexually harassed by three Egyptian police officers.

"I came back from Sinai on Saturday. I was alone and was sexually harassed by three terrible police officers at the border crossing, right before re-entering Israel," he said. "It was horrifying, shocking, unpleasant, and violating. I'm sharing this to say that it exists – that it can happen.

"I had such an amazing time in Sinai. I enjoyed every moment, and of course, this isn't going to ruin my experience there or what I took away from it. I will go back to Sinai and do it again soon. But I'm writing this to warn you and to recommend not going to the border alone – not on the way there and not on the way back."
I think this can explain why LGBTQ cultists in places like the USA don't have much of a problem with Islamofascists, since there are double-standards on how they approach male homosexuality, if anything. Sinai may be a great place, but if this is how Egypt will be run, that's why, for as long as the Religion of Peace reigns there, no sane person should pay money to travel there.

Utah is doomed by dhimmitude

Robert Spencer's written about how Utah's selling out to woke ideologies, with Islam being one of the latest they're succumbing to:
Mormons once had a reputation for being conservative, but those days are gone forever. Salt Lake City is so woke that it even adopted the pride flag as an official city flag in order to circumvent a ban on flying anything but the official national flag, the state flag, city flags and a few others on municipal property.

And so it was inevitable that Erin Mendenhall, the same far, far-left mayor who spearheaded the continued official display of the pride flag, would also engage in some of the most flagrant Islamopandering we have seen up to now anywhere in the United States. Islamopandering is all the rage these days and is happening all over the country; Mendenhall is by no means unique, but she offers a particularly egregious example of how foolish this really is.

She happily dons a hijab, oblivious to the untold numbers of women who have been threatened, brutalized, and even killed for not wearing it
. Back on Sept. 16, 2022, in Tehran, the Iranian morality police arrested Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman, for not wearing her hijab properly. Amini later died in a hospital in Tehran, and numerous Iranians charged that she had been tortured to death while in custody. All over the country, protesters took to the streets to protest not against the hijab laws, but against the repressive and brutal Islamic Republic itself. [...]

And so on and drearily on, as Erin Mendenhall remains blissfully oblivious, and thinks that donning a hijab to try to attract Muslim votes in Salt Lake City is perfectly in harmony with her feminist principles. Lost in all this fantasy, she praises “the values of faith and kindness that Ramadan brings to our community,” giving the impression to those ignorant of their own culture (and they are legion) that Islam teaches faith and kindness in a way that Judaism and Christianity (and Mormonism) do not, and that faith and kindness didn’t exist in the West before Islam came along. She also ignores the real meaning of Ramadan, and why there is always more jihad violence during it.
This says all you need to know what's going wrong in Utah, and this is obviously just for starters. There's also the disturbing case of New Jersey's governor doing the same as she paid a solidarity visit to a cleric accused of Hamas ties:
New Jersey Democratic Gov. Mikie Sherrill attended a Ramadan event at a Paterson mosque led by an Imam who fought deportation for years over alleged ties to Hamas.

Sherrill posted photos of her visit to the Islamic Center of Passaic County on social media, wearing a hijab and taking selfies. In one image, she is seen speaking with the mosque’s longtime leader, Imam Mohammad Qatanani.

"Thank you to the Islamic Center of Passaic County for welcoming me to join their celebration as the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close," she wrote. "I wish our Muslim neighbors a safe, joyous, and peaceful Eid al-Fitr."

Qatanani, a Palestinian-born cleric, has been at the center of a decades-long immigration battle after federal authorities sought to deport him, citing alleged ties to Hamas and claims he failed to disclose a prior detention in Israel. He has denied those allegations, saying he was detained but never convicted.
Worst, a federal judge, quite possibly also a Democrat, blocked his deportation and this is one of the biggest problems with the criminal justice system in the USA now. NJ's governor is another woman, no matter her ethnicity, who's a disgrace for both wearing the hijab and making it look as though she believes being a woman is shameful, and then she makes things worse by siding with a monster.

And as for Mendenhall, what's she trying to do? Use a protected class pandering position in order to bring back polygamy, which the Mormon movement once upheld but mostly abandoned by the end of the 19th century? When somebody embraces a barbaric religion for the sake of that, it's clear something's horribly wrong. These are just a few examples of women who clearly lack self-respect, and must believe being born female is abominable. Somehow, it's also no surprise women who could embrace LGBT ideology would also be willing to later abandon even that if the Religion of Peace so demands.
