Israel's Labor party looks like they may be on their last legs
Labor MK Merav Michaeli emerged victorious in Sunday's Labor leadership primary.Gee...that sure is quite a show of force, isn't it? The Labor party certainly isn't faring well, and there's no telling if a joint run with Ron Huldai's new party will salvage them either. The once considerable influence they had as a left-wing party has plummeted over the years. Whether this new alliance they may seek will do them any good remains to be seen, and even then, it's unclear if anybody will care.
The turnout in the race was only 26%.
