It's important for men to defend women's dignity in sports as much as other places
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Brett Favre used his podcast to express opposition to a male weightlifter competing against females in the summer Olympic Games in Tokyo next month.I do think, however, that Favre shouldn't go easy on the lifestyle ideology, if only because that would risk going easy on a lot of other unhealthy belief systems. Apart from that, he's absolutely correct. It's crucial to note that this Hubbard cost a lady from Tonga a chance to participate in the Olympics:
“It’s a man competing as a woman,” Favre said in a recent episode of his podcast. “That’s unfair. It’s not fair for a man, even if this person wants to be a woman or feels compelled — if you want to become the opposite sex, that’s fine. I got no problem with it. But you can’t compete against — males cannot compete against females.
“If I was a true female — I can’t believe I’m saying that — and I was competing in weightlifting and lost to this person, I would be beside myself,” Favre said.
Laurel Hubbard, born a man named Gavin Hubbard, competed in male weightlifting for many years before the 43-year-old decide to live as a woman and change his name at age 35.
According to reports, transgender weightlifter Laurel Hubbard kept a minority woman out of the Olympics. This only compounds the perception that the Olympic committee's now dominated by sexist ideologues who're destroying sports for the sake of ideology, and identity politics. For this, they should be boycotted, and I've got a feeling this year's Olympic game will be one of the lowest-rated ever on TV.
Many are noting that Kuinini ‘Nini’ Manumua, 21, was likely bumped out of Olympics contention because Laurel Hubbard entered to represent New Zealand in Tokyo.
SpectatorWorld, for instance, noted: “Hubbard stole the place of Kuinini Manumua, a 21-year-old woman of color who had trained for years. This would have been her first Olympics. Remember her name.”
