The Haredi child rapist who evaded justice through her organized community here in Israel before finally being extradited back Down Under earier this year is now facing the court of Melbourne:
So far, it looks like the 2 of the 3 sisters who were all victims of Leifer and practically the whole community have testified against her, with the third soon to do the same. And when all's completed, let's hope Leifer will get a very long prison sentence.
The trial of Malka Leifer opened in the Melbourne court on Monday morning, with the former principal being accused of 74 counts of child sexual abuse and rape. Also important to note:
In May, it was announced that former Housing Minister Ya'acov Litzman will be prosecuted for allegedly pressuring the Jerusalem district psychiatrist to falsely rule Leifer mentally unfit for trial. He deserves it. People like him have practically embarrassed the Judaist community as a whole by taking illegal actions, though some could argue that the previous government made a terrible mistake by not acting firmly enough to deal with creeps like Litzman.
So far, it looks like the 2 of the 3 sisters who were all victims of Leifer and practically the whole community have testified against her, with the third soon to do the same. And when all's completed, let's hope Leifer will get a very long prison sentence.
