The sentence delivered by a juvenile court on the issue of teacher Samuel Paty's murder is just too light (via Medforth and Jihad Watch):

This is the first conviction linked to the assassination of Samuel Paty. Two years after the death of the teacher, beheaded by an Islamist in the Yvelines, a young woman was sentenced on Friday to three and a half years in prison, including 18 months suspended by the Paris juvenile court, according to information from franceinfo. The then 17-year-old was charged with “terrorist association that involves crimes” for forwarding the Islamist terrorist’s confession message.

According to franceinfo, she was also in contact with a friend of the assassin. Currently in detention, she is subject to an obligation of care. During her indictment, the young woman had expressed her desire to go to Turkey or Chechnya and made comments that suggested that she was radicalized.

During the investigation, the police had discovered on his phone research on weapons, shooting and martyrs, indicates franceinfo. During her police custody, the teenager had however declared that she condemned the assassination of Samuel Paty.

Unfortunately, when looked at in view of the potential she employed taqqiya, that's the main reason why there's no point in taking her word for it. And that's exactly why this light sentence is such an embarrassment.
