Muslim rapist given 21 years for assault on mother in Gedera

A Muslim rapist who attacked a mother in Gedera while her children were in the house has been given 21 years in prison and a huge fine:

The Central District Court in Lod sentenced Barkat Abu Issa to 21 years in prison on Wednesday for breaking into a woman’s Gedera home, binding and raping her while her three young children were inside.

Abu Issa, 25, was convicted following a trial of rape under aggravated circumstances, burglary of a residential building, and abuse of a minor over the February 2023 attack.

The court also ordered him to pay NIS 200,000 in compensation, comprising NIS 150,000 to the woman and NIS 50,000 to her son, who was two years old at the time of the attack.

The panel directly addressed the woman at the end of its ruling, saying that she had suffered an unbearable and life-altering assault and continued to contend with its effects on her and her children.

What the monster did was an utterly perverse act, and his sentence is not enough. He should be thrown in an isolated dungeon for centuries.

Insular Haredi society is becoming a national security crisis

So here's a writer who's talking about how the Haredis, in their own way, are taking attention away from more pressing issues like Islamofascism by imposing their belief systems on other Israelis, as they pave the road to hell with "good intentions":

The Oct. 7 war turned a simmering political dispute into a national crisis.

Hundreds of thousands of Israelis answered the call to reserve duty. More than 900 lost their lives. Families endured repeated deployments while businesses struggled without employees, and parents went months without seeing their children.

At precisely the moment when the country needed every able-bodied citizen, thousands of Haredi men continued to avoid military service.

The Israel Defense Forces has repeatedly warned of severe manpower shortages, and Israel’s courts have ordered the government to enforce the draft of Haredim. Successive governments, however, have refused to apply the law. Given the reaction to the 16 arrests this year, it’s hard to imagine any government arresting thousands of Haredi draft dodgers; those arrests triggered violent demonstrations that blocked highways, shut down rail traffic, attacked detention facilities and assaulted police officers, including one whose son was killed in Gaza, and even targeted the home of a Supreme Court justice.

Instead of enforcing existing law, the Netanyahu government has sought legislation that would equate Torah study with military service and limit the arrest of draft evaders. In 2024, Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara ordered the Labor Ministry to cut daycare subsidies for the children of ultra-Orthodox yeshivah students who disobey military draft orders.

Netanyahu, however, wants to restore such subsidies. In other words, the government has moved from enforcement to reversal.

Whenever the issue of Haredi draft dodging comes up, I’m reminded of the U.S. military’s practice of shaving recruits’ heads as part of standardization. Imagine if the IDF did that to the Haredim. Instead, the army bends over backward to accommodate the demands of even the more moderate Orthodox soldiers who may refuse to serve in units with women or to be trained by them. The army recently backed down after leaders of Hesder yeshivas (institutions that combine Torah study with military service) threatened to stop sending their students to the Armored Corps over the proposed inclusion of women in tanks alongside men.

The ultra-Orthodox fear that their children will lose their religion in a secular army, though thousands of observant Jews proudly serve in the IDF. Nevertheless, many Israelis would gladly accept some alternative form of national service for those unwilling to join. Even that compromise has largely been rejected by Haredi leadership, which insists that Torah study alone fulfills their national obligation.

While there are valid issues to find here, the only problem is whether the writer's being altruistic. If he's just attacking Netanyahu - but wouldn't attack a left-wing politician who did the same - what good is this critique?

That aside, it's pretty clear at this point the Haredis aren't going to accept even simple national service, based on their increasing belief in segregation from wider society. That's wrong, as was the attack on a supreme court justice while distributing leaflets that looked like Israeli flags with a swastika in the middle. That incident amounted a most anti-semitic act, and as a result, how are the clans who do such a repulsive thing any different from antisemitic movements in non-Jewish societies?

What began as David Ben-Gurion’s original exemption—intended for a few hundred exceptional scholars—has evolved into a blanket exclusion for an entire community. This is no longer simply a question of fairness. It is a question of national survival.

Today, roughly one-quarter of Israelis reaching military age are Haredi. By 2050, that figure could approach 40%. If current exemption rates continue, then the burden on the shrinking pool of secular and national-religious soldiers will become unsustainable. As that burden grows, reservists will serve longer and more frequently, imposing growing costs on families, employers and the economy.

Equally concerning is the economic model that successive governments have enabled. Many Haredi schools provide no instruction in mathematics, English or science, leaving graduates ill-equipped for modern employment. Hence, the employment rate among Haredi men remains dramatically below that of other Jewish Israelis, while many employed Haredi women work in lower-paying or part-time positions. [...]

Ironically, Israel’s Arab citizens increasingly demonstrate the opposite trajectory. While significant socioeconomic gaps remain, Arab participation in higher education, professional occupations and the workforce has steadily increased as more seek to improve their standard of living. The Institute for National Security Studies has noted that whereas much of the Arab sector is moving toward greater economic integration, Haredi leadership largely seeks to preserve the existing system of dependency and exemption.

The Haredi leadership is no longer content merely to preserve its own way of life; it increasingly seeks to extend its religious norms into Israel’s public sphere.

For years, the ultra-Orthodox have imposed their standards at the Western Wall, where restrictions on women’s prayer and the rejection of non-Orthodox religious practices have alienated many Israelis and much of the Diaspora. Their ambitions now extend well beyond holy sites. In Bnei Brak, municipal rabbis recently ordered gender segregation on the sidewalks of two major streets. At the national level, Netanyahu’s coalition has advanced legislation allowing universities and colleges to offer gender-segregated master’s and doctoral programs—a proposal so troubling that Israel’s university presidents and medical school deans publicly warned it would undermine academic freedom and equality.

These are not isolated disputes. They reflect a broader effort to redefine Israel’s public institutions according to ultra-Orthodox religious doctrine.

On the part about Bnei Brak, the municipality did appear to reverse their plans after backlash, but for all we know, they could still enforce them without signposts too. As for the legislation, yes, that's sadly a dumb move, because it's just implying Netanyahu's trying to survive at all costs, rather than make an effort to convince the Haredi public it'd be better to vote for Likud instead. He certainly shouldn't be letting them blackmail anybody on the right.

Since we're on the topic, there's also a troubling item about plans to give the old Bikur Holim hospital building to a Haredi girls' seminar:

The fate of the capital’s oldest Jewish hospital, Bikur Cholim – opened on Straus Street in 1925 after moving from the Old City and closed in 2020 – will determine whether downtown Jerusalem is accessible to all its residents.

So said Havilio, the longtime community activist and politician who, for decades, has represented the voice of the secular, pluralistic, and traditional community in the haredi (ultra-Orthodox)-dominated municipality and is a deputy mayor heading the Ha’ihud Ha’Yerushalmi faction.

The municipality had approved plans to allocate the historic and much more beautiful eastern building for a seminary for 1,000 haredi teenage girls run by the Slonim Hassidic community, triggering an uproar among liberal Jerusalemites. Havilio said the mayor’s plan was illegal, and various opponents threatened a lawsuit.

“This is a historic mistake,” Havilio told In Jerusalem. “At present, the border between haredi residents and institutions and non-haredi ones is on Hanevi’im Street. A haredi seminary would move the border by a few meters south to Jaffa Road. The city center will then not be allowed to have places of entertainment, cafés, or stores that could remain open on Shabbat or any liberal projects.

I think it is wrong to turn what could make an important museum into something isolated, Now, here's yet another, more troubling piece that certainly confirms what the first one's allegedly concerned about:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemns “horrific” comments made by Rabbi Dov Lando, the spiritual leader of the ultra-Orthodox Degel Hatorah political faction, who said yesterday that religious soldiers were committing murder by serving in the army.

Lando denounced those in the religious Zionist community who serve in the army, at a meeting with heads of the Mir Yeshiva, at his home in Bnei Brak: “I am speaking about those with knitted kippas that are required to go.”

“If the state sends people, soldiers, for the honor of the state, and they kill people, is that also permissible? It’s very much murder. So they incite murder. They wage wars not only for the sake of salvation, but for the honor of the state,” he said.

In a statement released by his office, Netanyahu condemns the comments.

“IDF soldiers, secular and Haredi, leave their homes, their work and their families, and risk their lives in order to protect the State of Israel, its citizens and all of the nation of Israel,” Netanyahu says.

“They deserve deep appreciation, gratitude, and full support from all segments of the public, and certainly from the world of Torah,” the statement reads.

One could reasonably wonder if Lando sympathizes with Islamic jihadists. His words certainly tell exactly what the Hamas would want to hear, and Lando's effectively desecrated the memory of millions of victims of barbarism in all forms. Based on this, how can such Haredi clans claim they're not antisemitic/self-haters? In this report, it notes that:

Rabbi Lando accused Religious Zionist figures who support IDF enlistment of encouraging “actual murder," claiming that soldiers are sent to fight “not only for the sake of saving lives, but also for the honor of the state."

Here, it sounds like he's saying it's inherently wrong to save innocent lives, and acting as though honor for the state is also wrong. And then we wonder how else October 7, 2023 occurred, in addition to irresponsible military officials. Lando's lack of moral compass is another reason why the tragedy occurred. He shouldn't be recognized as a rabbi at all. He's nothing but a shoddy fraud in a black suit and hat who's more addicted to the socialist ideology than serious liberty and freedom. People like him are exactly what's taking us back to the dark ages.

So as far as national security crises go, Lando's definitely providing examples of why we need to be on the lookout for 5th column inciters who're as bad as their more leftist counterparts.

Will alleged deal with Iran include surrender of nuclear materials?

Now, president Donald Trump says a deal with Iran will be signed on Sunday, ahead of a G7 conference he's attending:

President Donald Trump announced Saturday that a deal with Iran will be signed on Sunday, ahead of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) at the White House and his departure for the G7 in Evian-les-Bains, France.

A short time after Pakistani Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar told Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan that the deal will be signed electronically, Trump took to Truth Social to confirm the deal will be formalized.

[...] The president said the deal does not include cash exchanges and the nature of his administration’s relationship with Iran is substantially different than that of his predecessors.

“Our relationship with Iran is a much different and better one than previous Administrations have had. Unlike Obama’s Hundreds of Billions of Dollars in payments to them, including 1.7 Billion Dollars in green, cold cash, no money will exchange hands,” he wrote.

Trump added that, at some point, the United States will retrieve the “Nuclear Dust” — enriched uranium that was buried by B-2 Bomber strikes at Natanz, Fordow, and Esfahan in Operation Midnight Hammer a year ago. Iran allowing the United States to retrieve and destroy this material had been a key redline of the president’s throughout negotiations.

Now here's one serious problem: Iran's reportedly trying to seal openings to the underground storages where they've kept the uranium with mines in order to make it difficult for the USA military to reach those areas, if at all. If such reports are factual, that's not shocking Iran's tyrants would do that, but it certainly won't make things any easier.

And of course, the Iranian dictatorship, as it stands now, cannot be allowed to continue running the country in any way. They've threatened to attack Israel again because of the IDF's continued work in Lebanon to defeat the Hezbollah, and if they do, that'll only confirm the regime has no intention of cooperating with even Trump. So it still remains to be seen what'll be the outcome.

Hebron's heroic neighborhood

A new neighborhood's been established in Hebron, dedicated to some fallen soldiers in history:

The "Harchivi Makom Ohalecha (Expand Your Tents)" organization, which is involved in redeeming homes in Hebron, announced this evening (Thursday) the establishment of a new Jewish neighborhood - the "Shechunat Hagvura (Neighborhood of Heroism)."

The entry into the buildings, which were legally purchased from Arabs some time ago, took place simultaneously into five strategic buildings in the Jalis neighborhood, in response to gunfire last night from Arab homes in the area toward the Jewish Havat Gal neighborhood.

The new neighborhood is named in honor of seven fighters, heroes of Hebron and Kiryat Arba, who fell in battle: Staff Sgt. Yehuda Dror Yahalom, Elyakim Shlomo Libman, Sgt. Maj. Elkana Yehuda Sfez, Capt. ori Mordechay Shani, Lt. Yohai Duchan, Sgt. Maj. Yishai Netanel Greenbaum, and Staff Sgt. Amichai Yaacov Vanino.

Finally, some more success in reclaiming Israeli land, after all the trouble leftists caused in the past 3 decades. Now, some justice is being done for a change, and perhaps we even have Donald Trump to thank for that.

A dentist nobody should get a root canal from

A Muslim dentist in east Jerusalem was arrested for supporting Hamas:

A dentist from east Jerusalem was arrested on Thursday for social media posts praising Hamas and inciting violence, Israel Police announced.

Police began their investigation after the suspect made a post on social media featuring the slogan "This is jihad - victory or martyrdom." Over the course of their investigation, they discovered other materials supporting terrorism and inciting violence, shared by the suspect on social media or saved on his mobile phone.

The suspect, age 45, was arrested by police detectives on Thursday and brought to the station. He was then taken to the Magistrate's Court in Jerusalem on Friday, where his detention was extended until January 12 for continued investigation.

Creeps like that cannot continue to remain in the medical industry, and more serious efforts are needed in order to vet applicants and ensure few will be able to get through to jobs they don't deserve.

Florida designates CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organizations

In another vital development following the Texas government's decision, Florida's government has designated CAIR as a foreign terrorist organization, along with the Muslim Brotherhood, and ordered all steps be taken to close down all activities of theirs:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced on Tuesday the designation of the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization.

This decision, which took effect immediately, also targets the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a civil rights advocacy organization for American Muslims.

The governor's decree orders Florida agencies to take all necessary legal measures to prevent the now-illegal activities of these organizations, including withdrawing rights and resources from any entity providing them with material support.

This initiative is in line with a similar approach undertaken last month by the governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, who had also designated these two organizations as foreign terrorist entities.

At the federal level, President Donald Trump signed a presidential decree in November requesting his administration to assess the possibility of designating certain branches of the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organizations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio hinted that measures comparable to those adopted in Texas and Florida were "in the works" at the national level.

In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that he would work to ban the movement. This announcement sparked anger from the Ra'am party, affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, which condemned the decision as "undermining democracy."

This is why all must be done to get the Ra'am party out of the Knesset. For now, Florida's made the right choice, and let's hope the authorities clean out the offices of the monsters and get them out of the state altogether.

Hebron is being redeemed

Significant improvement is being made with more houses in Hebron being bought for Jews to live in:

Ahead of Shabbat Chayei Sarah, we spoke with Shlomo Levinger, a member of the Harchivi Makom Ohalech association, who describes the momentum in the efforts to redeem houses in the city of Hebron.

Levinger recalls the days when his father, Rabbi Moshe Levinger, obm, arrived in Hebron at the head of a group of settlers immediately after the Six-Day War.

“The call was for Jews to return to Hebron, and indeed they rented an Arab hotel in Hebron, and the expectation was that after the Jews, the government would follow, and the city of Hebron would return to being a Hebrew city - and it was a Hebrew city even before Tel Aviv,” he recalls.

“In the end, it did not work that way. They built Kiryat Arba while in Hebron there were no Jews, until in Nissan 5739 a group of mothers and their children - I was one of the children - we moved to live in Hebron. Even then, the expectation was that the matter would be carried out by KKL or branches of the government. That did not happen, and my father worked to establish an association that would follow the path of our forefather Abraham, to redeem Hebron with money.”

Levinger says that the first building redeemed this way was Beit Hashalom (Peace House) in 2003, after the severe terror attack on the Worshippers’ Route. The understanding was that the government was not ready for the process, and that those who needed to carry out the actions were individuals.

The association, he says, “merited to redeem and buy houses and buildings from Arabs, with each such building becoming a neighborhood.” He also notes that on all sides there are structures that have been purchased, and recently there is also a new building north of the Cave of the Patriarchs, Beit Ma’aleh Doron. “The aspiration is to return and to grow,” Levinger stresses.

“For me, it is part of my father Rabbi Levinger’s will - to redeem Hebron and to return the city to what it once was - a Hebrew city,” he says, and describes the excitement of seeing families with their children and belongings arriving as they enter a purchased home.

“In the last two years, as a result of the war, a transformation has taken place. Before the war, we had to search step by step for those Arabs who would sell to us - and even that we succeeded in - but the recent war has caused many Arabs to want to begin life somewhere else. The immigration plan can begin here. People want to leave and sell their homes for good money, and now it is only a matter of money and not a matter of willingness. That is what we are aiming for.”

At the same time, he says, “More and more people are becoming aware of the possibility of redeeming the houses. I call it ideological real estate. Many come here, see the reality, and say they want their own four cubits in Hebron.” Because of this, he says, several additional projects are now reaching maturity.

“We have been fortunate, and the supply is greater than the demand, and we call on everyone to come buy, come support. In the past year, half a million Jews visited the city. One can also support in a simple way, with a monthly bank transfer. If each person donates fifty shekels - multiplied by a thousand people - times 12 months, that means that on your next visit to Hebron, you will see here another new building of Jews.”

This is very heartwarming news, and it's good to see we're able to live normally once again in one of ancient Israel's oldest cities.

Update: some more about those who've come to live in the re-purchased buildings:

Tzviya Ben Shai, a third-generation Hebron resident, has returned to live in the city after being away for more than 50 years. "I always wanted to be close to the Cave. This is the most suitable place for me," she said. "Today it feels like a neighborhood, people walk on foot, enter, and exit. There's movement, there's life. In another year, there will be a real city here."

Fleishman summed up with a sharp message. "We need to be in the Arab cities themselves, not just around them. Settlement around them is important, but holding the heart of the cities is critical," she said. "'Harchivi Mekom Aholech,' translates to "expand our place, I will go," isn't just a slogan. It's a mission. And we call on the public, whoever wants to see a Jewish Hebron, they should know – this is in our hands, and it depends on money."

Yes, but they also need to push back against Islamic sharia, and the Religion of Peace itself. Only ridding the globe of that will there be any chance of improved relationships.

More penalties being enforced against collaborators of jihadists

The IDF is taking more steps to punish families of terrorists who collaborate with the offenders, and that includes destroying their homes:

Israel Defense Forces engineers on Tuesday surveyed the homes of two Palestinian terrorists who carried out a deadly shooting attack in Jerusalem the day before, to prepare for demolition.

The two gunmen, Mohammad Taha, 21, from Qatanna, and Muthanna Amro, 20, from Qubeiba, murdered six people and wounded over a dozen others at Ramot Intersection in the capital before they were killed by an off-duty soldier and armed civilians.

As a matter of policy, Israel demolishes the homes of Palestinians accused of carrying out deadly terror attacks, saying the measure is intended as a deterrent. [...]

Katz said 750 work and entry permits to Israel would be revoked. Immediate family members of Palestinians accused of terror are barred from working in Israel as a matter of policy, but it is rarer for Israeli authorities to revoke work permits of more distant relatives.

Israeli officials have said the policy is intended to dissuade Palestinians from planning terror attacks, as doing so will harm their extended families’ livelihood. Critics have called it collective punishment.

Katz also said he ordered the demolition of “any illegal structures in the villages,” though it’s unclear what the practical implications would be. Both villages lie in Area B of the West Bank, where Israel has no authority over civil matters such as issuing building permits.

Umm, I don't think the Times of Israel should be lecturing where and how the IDF should be enacting punishment against offenders, because the PLO's been harboring them, and cannot be allowed to continue doing so. Any jihadists whose homes are destroyed are getting a punishment they deserve.

6 people murdered in terrorist attack by Ramot

6 people were murdered by 2 jihadists who attacked a bus at a junction by the Ramot neighborhood:

At least six people were murdered and dozens were wounded after terrorists opened fire on civilians at Ramot Junction in the Israeli capital of Jerusalem on Monday morning.

Yaakov Pinto, 25, Rabbi Levi Yitzhak Pash, Israel Mentzer, 28, and Yosef David, 43, were identified as four of those killed in the attack.

Pinto immigrated from Spain and was recently married. Pash taught at a Jerusalem yeshiva. Mentzer and David were residents of the Ramot neighborhood.

Two additional wounded people were later declared dead, including Sarah Mendelson, 60, and Rabbi Mordechai Steinsteg, 79, who had been brought to Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

At least 21 were wounded at the scene and were transported to three different medical centers, including Shaare Zedek and Hadassah-University Medical Centers at Ein Kerem and Mount Scopus. Upwards of 26 individuals at the scene were treated for anxiety.

The terrorists boarded the Line 62 bus in Jerusalem, which operates across the city, and began shooting at passengers.

In response to the attack, a soldier and several civilians at the bus stop engaged the attackers and returned fire. The terrorists were killed at the scene. The terrorists were in their twenties, from towns on the outskirts of Ramallah, El-Kubeiba, and Katanna. Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas praised the attack.

Additionally, the Shin Bet arrested an east Jerusalem resident on suspicion of driving the terrorists to the bus station.

Security forces have encircled several villages outside of Ramallah to reinforce defensive efforts along the West Bank border. They are conducting interrogations and searches in the area.

It's clear even in areas controlled by the PLO, huge sums of antisemitism are being indoctrinated via the Religion of Peace. And now, they've tragically cost more lives. This is why they too need to be banished from Israel.

Haredi UTJ party refused to vote in favor of expelling Muslim member of Knesset over offensive behavior he committed

The UTJ party (whose other half is now disgustingly leaving the coalition along with the first one) has continued to demonstrate why they're a very bad lot, when they refused to back the expulsion of a Muslim member of Knesset who supported terrorism:

During the United Torah Judaism faction meeting today (Monday), it was clarified that the party's Knesset members would abstain from voting on the expulsion of MK Ayman Odeh.

MK Avichai Boaron, the initiator of the expulsion process for MK Ayman Odeh, responded: "The leaders of United Torah Judaism are acting irresponsibly. We should not link the national need to remove a terrorist sympathizer and Israel-hater from the Knesset with the need to pass the conscription law. By deciding not to support Odeh's expulsion, United Torah Judaism is disconnecting itself from the national camp and harming IDF soldiers, bereaved families, and hostages and their families."

"To my brothers in the Haredi community, after my friends and I in Likud stood by your side on the conscription issue, I say to you with regret: if you are not with us in the vote to expel Odeh, do not be surprised when we are not with you on the conscription vote. It is not too late to correct this," Boaron added.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir wrote on his X account: "United Torah Judaism or the Islamic Movement?" MK Tzvi Sukkot added, "Shame and disgrace."

The vote to expel Odeh failed, and while the UTJ's votes may not have ensured the majority needed (90 votes), the whole notion they'd put their personal interests above the country's security and stability speaks volumes. Since we're on the subject, recently, some sex offenders in Bnei Brak were arrested:

Five additional suspects were arrested on suspicion of committing serious sexual offenses on Sunday, Israel Police confirmed.

The five, all residents of Bnei Brak, were arrested following an investigation by a special investigation team of Israel Police's Dan District, the police added.

The head of the Shomrim community security patrol in Bnei Brak, Chaim Rotter, 36, was named on Thursday as the suspect in dozens of acts of sexual assault and rape of adults and minors over the last decade or so, upending the ultra-Orthodox (haredi) community and the country at large.

Two of the five additional suspects were members of Rotter's family, KAN News reported.

Since the announcement of Rotter's arrest broke on Wednesday, dozens of testimonies were publicized in the media, further substantiating the horrors that dozens allegedly experienced at his hands.

The main offender will remain in custody for another week. So now, just like the ZAKA medical movement, even the Shomrim now have a chilling scandal of their own, and it's made worse by how the foremost fiend influenced members of his own family to join him in his crimes.

And then, there's this horrifying news of a Haredi "journalist" who was arrested for writing offensive statements against the IDF:

Tel Aviv police arrested a Haredi reporter Wednesday on suspicion of incitement to terrorism after he remarked that “the world is a better place” in reaction to the deaths of five Israeli soldiers hit by roadside bombs in Gaza.

Law enforcement opened a probe into Israel Frey Tuesday after the tweeted comment earlier that morning in which he appeared to rejoice over the deadly incident the night before in northern Gaza’s Beit Hanoun.

Four of five slain troops were laid to rest Tuesday while the fifth soldier, Staff Sgt. Moshe Shmuel Noll, was buried Wednesday at Jerusalem’s Mount Herzl military cemetery following a hundreds-strong procession from his parents’ home in Beit Shemesh.

“The world is a better place this morning, without five young men who partook in one of the most brutal crimes against humanity,” Frey had tweeted about the slain soldiers, four of whom served in the ultra-Orthodox Netzah Yehuda battalion.

“Unfortunately, for the boy in Gaza now being operated on without anesthesia, the girl starving to death and the family huddling in a tent under bombardment — this is not enough,” he continued. “This is a call to every Israeli mother: Do not be the next to receive your son in a coffin as a war criminal. Refuse.”

Police said that Frey, who frequents far-left political circles, is currently in custody and will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court Thursday for an extension on his remand.

What this makes clear is that socialists can most definitely mingle with other socialists, and politics make strange bedfellows, as they say. What are the chances the above monster is a member of Neturei Karta, in example? I have no idea, but what's clear is that when UTJ and Shas damage the government coalition with their petty demands, they're giving a boon to monsters like Frey, doing what he'd want. This is exactly why political parties like URJ and Shas are furthering embarrassment with their petty demands.

Ayman Odeh must be expelled from Knesset

A Knesset committee voted to expel the Islamic Knesset member Ayman Odeh over his support for Hamas and Hezbollah:

The Knesset Committee voted on Monday afternoon, with a majority of 14 MKs against 2 opponents, in favor of ousting MK Ayman Odeh.

All representatives of the coalition parties supported the proposal, along with representatives from Yisrael Beytenu, Yesh Atid, and the National Unity Party.

The dismissal procedure will be brought to the Knesset plenum within three weeks, where a majority of 90 MKs will be required to finalize it.

The initiator of the discussion, MK Avichai Boaron, stated: “Throughout all the deliberations, he neither apologized nor retracted his statements—in fact, he repeated them. He refuses to recognize Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations. One cannot separate his remarks from the broader context, and therefore I am confident the decision will pass with a large majority in the Knesset plenum.”

Committee Chairman Ofir Katz added: “In a proper country, Ayman Odeh would be rotting in jail and stripped of his citizenship. I sincerely hope Yesh Atid and the National Unity Party won’t backtrack or play a double game when this reaches the plenum. Ayman Odeh must be kicked out.”

An excellent point. Failure to do so will only be a slight to the victims of October 7, 2023. Do those 2 left-wing parties want to look bad in this specific affair?

Tucker Carlson is an utter embarrassment

If there's any pseudo-conservative "reporter" who's causing more harm than good for Israel today, it's Tucker Carlson, who's opposed to Israel defending itself from Iran's missile attacks, which have already tragically caused several murders, and even Arabic residents of Israel were victims. Fortunately, Donald Trump did the right thing by taking issue with Carlson over his shoddy positions:

President Donald Trump spent part of his Monday trolling Tucker Carlson after the former Fox News host questioned the president’s handling of Iran and conflict in the Middle East.

Last week in a newsletter, Carlson accused Trump of being “complicit” in Israel’s strikes against Iran that sparked the current days-long exchange between the two Middle Eastern powers. The newsletter arrived in the inboxes of Carlson’s readers under the headline: “This Could Be the Final Newsletter Before All-Out War.”

“Earlier this week, unnamed Washington sources expressed concern over Israel’s ability to fend off Iran’s retaliation, which would inevitably lead to Benjamin Netanyahu ordering the American military to step in and fight on his country’s behalf,” Carlson wrote. “On Thursday, Iran’s president threatened to ‘destroy’ any country that eliminates his government’s nuclear facilities. Now, the world will learn what that looks like.”

Trump responded to Carlson’s criticisms while attending the Group of Seven Summit in Canada.

“Somebody please explain to kooky Tucker Carlson that, ‘IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!’” Trump posted on Truth Social on Monday evening. [...]

Trump’s support for Israel and his Middle East policy appears to have alienated Carlson, as well as other isolationist-minded supporters. The comic Dave Smith recently called for Trump’s impeachment over the president’s handling of Iran.

See, this is a serious problem the USA regrettably has that was doubtless prevalent in some areas during WW2 - isolationists who don't want to quash tyranny and barbarism through the pathetic excuse that it's occurring outside the USA boundaries, and also because "their culture is different from ours". And then you wonder how these problems eventually end up affecting the USA in the end.

Jonathan Tobin, while very questionable in his conduct (he refused to defend Trump after he lost 2020's election to the awful Joe Biden) did address the topic in a way that's interesting:

Who is losing the most in the successful strikes on Iran by the Israeli Defense Forces? At the top of the list is, obviously, the Islamist regime itself. It has had its terrorist infrastructure in the form of the leadership of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as what is left of its military, decapitated. And, of course, it has suffered significant damage to its nuclear facilities, in addition to its oil and gas industry, which is the foundation of the despotic government’s already-shaky economy.

We don’t know yet what this will mean for the future of the theocratic regime that has maintained power since it took over the country in 1979. And it’s still far from clear whether the credibility lost by the way that the Israeli Air Force has been able to operate with impunity, destroying the government’s assets and leaders, will be enough to shake off their tyrannical grip on a nation that desperately needs to replace them.

The other big loser in this struggle is a “woke right” faction of the conservative movement in the United States that opposes Israel and has been fervently opposed to any action to stop Iran from gaining nuclear weapons. More to the point, this rag-tag group of talk-show hosts, right-wing influencers and social-media gurus who can’t seem to mention Israel without betraying their antisemitic tendencies has lost President Donald Trump.

Or to be more precise, they never really had him.

The Tucker Carlson factor

The most prominent of these voices on the right is former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, whose shows and posts on the X platform reach many millions of people. As I’ve noted previously, Carlson is adamant about his distaste for Israel and his willingness to shill for the Iranian regime as well as its ally Qatar.

But he’s just the most well-known and loudest of a group of people who have utilized the Internet to create the impression that Trump’s voters share their views about foreign policy—most specifically, when it comes to Israel and Iran. What they have failed to understand is that their soft spot for Tehran—a government that has never wavered from its belief that America was the “Great Satan” with whom they were locked in perpetual conflict—had nothing to do with what Trump has dubbed his “America First” foreign policy.

As polls have consistently shown, Republicans and conservatives overwhelmingly support Israel, even as Democrats and the political left have abandoned it. Yet Carlson and his woke right acolytes, imitators and supporters are certain that Trump will lose his MAGA supporters if he continues to support Israel and doesn’t pursue a policy of appeasing Iran. However, as Trump said in an interview in The Atlantic, he’s the one who decides how to define “America First,” not Carlson and the trolls he platforms or plays to via the Internet.

People like Carlson have to be ostracized by the more sensible crowd, due to his defeatist positions. His anti-Israel positions are insufferable, and if this is the standing he's going to take, along with others of his shoddy ilk, then it's doubtful he wants to defeat the enemies already inside the USA's borders, like the Islamofascists in Michigan, and in New York. Carlson and even Smith are a very sorry case, and nobody should pay money to see the latter's entertainment programs if that's how he's going to go about his business either. So, there's one so-called "conservative" who doesn't deserve a showbiz audience. And as for Carlson, it's high time he retired.

Iran launched 200 missiles, and caused damage, along with sadly 3 deaths

After Israel's military took out nuclear laboratories in Iran, the Islamic regime launched a barrage of missiles in revenge, and unfortunately caused casualties along with damage and destruction:

Three people were killed by missiles launched from Iran toward Israel since Friday night. On Saturday morning, a man and woman were pronounced dead after a missile struck a residential neighborhood in a central Israeli city.

Severe damage was caused to buildings and vehicles in the area. Twenty-seven others were injured and evacuated to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The mayor of the affected city told Kan Reshet Bet: "These are the most horrifying scenes I’ve ever seen. You have to see what’s happening here to understand why it’s so important to remain in protected spaces."

On Friday night, a 60-year-old woman was killed and 62 others injured when missiles fired from Iran struck multiple locations across the Gush Dan region. Among the wounded was a 65-year-old man in serious condition. The injured were transported to hospitals suffering from moderate to light wounds, as well as shock.

The missiles were aimed at both civilian and military targets. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for strikes on dozens of sites in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu is expected to hold a security assessment Saturday night with top defense officials and several ministers.

This is abominable, and explains perfectly why the IDF's operation has to be carried out to destroy Iran's arsenals.

The Syrian danger zone, close to Ahmed al-Sharaa's fortress in Damascus

Some staff for Israel Hayom went to look at the area the IDF is now guarding past the current border with Syria, just an hour's drive from Damascus, where the new Muslim overlord al-Sharaa is now residing in the despot palace:

The distances tell the story – 81 miles (130 kilometers) to Beirut, 280 miles (450 kilometers) to Aleppo, 932 miles (1,500 kilometers) to Istanbul, and from there direct access to Europe. Southern Lebanon lies a short distance to our left; the Druze villages that recently suffered massacres spread to our right in the distance. We stand centrally positioned at this IDF-controlled outpost, maintaining the defensive perimeter.

Al-Sharaa bears responsibility for the tragedies that occurred here, and he cannot be recognized as a valid "leader".

The shocking truth about a Jewish woman-Muslim man relationship

An Israeli woman who survived an abusive marriage to a Muslim Man admits what really happened in it (via Jihad Watch):

Dana, a young Jewish woman who married an Arab, appeared 12 years ago on TV broadcast denouncing her Judaism, “After my child’s birth, I started reading from the Koran.” Now, she came back to share the full truth of her experience.

The headline of the news piece was “The Women Who Converted to Islam and Moved to the Territories,” and it was an attempt to show how mixed Jewish-Muslim couples live happily ever after.

“As is often the case, the road to the territories is through the heart,” said interviewer Ohad Hamu in the Channel 12 TV broadcast 12 years ago, describing with pathos the story of a young Jewish woman who had fallen in love with an Arab, converted to Islam and moved in with him in Yericho.

“When I start praying, a stone falls from my heart. I start to breathe,” said Yael (a pseudonym), wearing a black veil that revealed only her eyes.

“Between me and G-d, I am a Muslim,” she declared, spreading out a rug on which to bow down for Muslim prayer. “After my child’s birth, I didn’t say ‘Shema Yisrael,’ but started reading from the Koran. That’s what finalized things for me, no doubt about it.”

Her Muslim husband, photographed at her side, shared the story of how they met. In another scene, she is photographed with her mother-in-law hugging and smiling, while the interviewer jokes about her daughter-in-law’s Arabic accent.

“They start a new life, exposed to prejudice, to racism as well as to hatred,” says the interviewer, referring to how they are viewed by her Jewish family and friends. “I am not a free person. I am afraid. I am afraid of the religious organizations and my family.”

It is only towards the end of the segment when the real motive behind the broadcast becomes clear. The husband’s lawyer talks about how the Israeli authorities are making it difficult for him to receive a blue Israeli ID card, and hoping the piece will pressure them.

Looking back at that interview 12 years ago, the Jewish woman featured in the clip, who’s real name is Dana, admitted the truth. “We did the interview so he could get a blue ID card,” she conceded. “They forced me to take a picture with the veil and the prayer rug. I did everything they told me, like a robot. That’s how I was there, like a zombie, doing what I was told without question.”

It’s been about four years since Dana left the destructive, violent relationship, but the rehabilitation process is ongoing. “My exit from there was a miracle,” she tells leading Israeli interviewer Yinon Magal, in the hope that her story will lead others to sever their relationships with Muslim partners.

“I want to inspire real hope,” she says. “I hear about what the female hostages went through in Gaza, and I understand them.”

Dana lived in Yericho for more than 10 years and bore five children to her Muslim husband before managing to escape, with the help of Yad L’Achim. Now, after the Simchas Torah massacre, she hopes that women in her previous situation will understand that they are being exploited and abused.

“The truth blew up in my face,” she says. “In that interview with Channel 12, I said that I was an example of how Jewish-Muslim couples could live together, but that was simply not true. It was an unhappy life.”

So you see, long before October 7, 2023, there were horrific cases like these. Israeli women who foolishly converted to Islam, and wound up victims of violent spousal abuse over petty issues. Now, it remains to be seen how many will speak out against the repellent influence of the Religion of Peace.

Border policewoman murdered by jihadist in Beer Sheva

Another terrorist attack occurred in Beer Sheva, commited by a jihadist who was related to another one who attacked the location earlier, and a border policewoman was murdered:

A Border Police officer was killed and at least 10 others were wounded when a terrorist opened fire in the Beersheba bus station on Sunday afternoon.

The victim was identified as Sgt. Shira Suslik, 19, a Border Police officer from Beersheba. She was killed when a gunman stormed into a McDonald’s in the southern city’s central bus station and opened fire on those inside.

The shooter, who was said to be killed at the scene by IDF soldiers, was identified as Ahmad al-Uqbi, 29, an Israeli citizen from the unrecognized Bedouin village of Uqbi, near Hura. He is said to have a prior criminal record.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service said that 10 people were wounded in the attack and taken for treatment to the Soroka Medical Center, including a woman in serious condition and four men in moderate condition, all of whom sustained gunshot wounds.

An important question is how do these jihadists get the weapons they use for these horrifying attacks? And how do they not get put in prison for a proper amount of time, considering their behavior? Now another woman's tragically had her life cut short when still young. My condolences to her family.

It's wrong for the USA government to undermine Israeli efforts at eliminating terrorists

Gary Willig's addressed how the USA government under fraud-in-chief Joe Biden (and Kamala Harris) has tried to damage Israel's efforts to put an end to Islamic terrorists threatening the country:

A saying falsely attributed to an ancient Chinese curse states, “May you live in interesting times.” But nothing was stated about exciting times. Israelis are experiencing both following the Iranian attack consisting of nearly 200 ballistic missiles this evening. Thankfully, the vast majority of these dangerous missiles were intercepted and there are no reports of direct casualties incurred, a fact which cannot be said for Iran’s Hezbollah proxy.

[...] ‘Operation Grim Beeper,’ as this intelligence coup was dubbed online, was a success of historic proportions. Never had so many terrorists been targeted at once with so little collateral damage. Never had a terrorist organization been so thoroughly compromised and humiliated.

[...] Unfortunately, while Israel has been making history, the American government has been attempting to freeze history and return to the status quo of October 6, 2023.

At every step, the Biden Administration has opposed Israel’s acts of self-defense in Lebanon. The absorbtion of more than 8,000 rockets in less than a year, having more than 60,000 civilians evacuated from their homes for 12 months, and having 12 children murdered by Hezbollah is apparently not enough for the US government to acknowledge that the Hezbollah threat need to be dealt with. From the start, America has been attempting to save Hezbollah from destruction, never mind that the terrorist organization has had the blood of hundreds of Americans on its hands. In absurd defiance of logic and common sense, America’s actions over the last two weeks have not been to support the bringing to justice of terrorists on whose heads the US has placed bounties worth millions of dollars for their roles in the mass murder of Americans, but to save the lives of its enemies.

As it has for the entirety of 2024 in Gaza, the US has sought to handcuff Israel and save a mass-murdering, Iranian proxy terrorist organization. For the moment, Israel is not listening, thankfully. Any ceasefire now would give Hezbollah time to replace its leaders, time to rebuild its communications network, and time to rearm and prepare for another round of conflict under more favorable conditions, exactly as it did following the 2006 conflict.

Last night, Israel launched limited ground operations in southern Lebanon, again in defiance of America’s wishes, effectively beginning a new phase in this conflict. There is no way to know how long it will take to either effectively destroy Hezbollah or push it entirely north of the Litani River, even with the damage the organization has suffered in just two weeks. Israel must stay the course and not bow to the inevitable American pressure to let Hezbollah live to fight another day. To not take advantage of this opportunity would be idiotic and possibly suicidal.

For the last 30 years, Iran has been attempting to surround Israel in a “ring of fire” of terrorist proxies, all ready to sacrifice the civilians of their host countries to destroy Israel and to launch massive assaults on the Jewish State if Israel takes any action against Iran’s nuclear program. Now Israel has the opportunity to eliminate the two linchpins in this ring of fire, Hamas and Hezbollah, and to ensure that neither can reemerge as a threat.

Keep making history, Israel.

When the government of a country that supposedly wants to defeat terrorists who were listed as Most Wanted suddenly opposes getting rid of the monsters, that of course contradicts what they say. And that's very appalling. Israel's doing the right thing not to allow foreign influence to affect its self-defense steps.

Another hostage rescued

A man of Bedouin descent who was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023, was rescued from captivity:

One more Israeli hostage has been rescued.

The Israel Defense Force and Israel Security Agency announced Tuesday that another hostage taken during the Oct. 7 terrorist attack has been rescued.

"The IDF and ISA have rescued Qaid Farhan Alkadi from Gaza where he was held hostage, and brought him to his family in Israel. This operation was part of the IDF’s daring and courageous activities conducted deep inside the Gaza strip," said Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant.

"This operation joins a series of actions taken by the IDF that bring us closer to achieving the goals of this war," Gallant continued. "I would like to reiterate and emphasize: Israel is committed to taking advantage of every opportunity to return the hostages home to Israel."

Qaid Farhan Alkadi from Rahat was reportedly rescued by a mixed company of Israeli combatants, including members of the 401st Brigade, 162nd Division, and Shayetet 13.

President Isaac Herzog spoke this evening with Qaid Farhan al-Qadi, a resident of Rahat who was abducted on October 7th and rescued today by security forces from captivity in Gaza. Qaid Farhan is currently receiving treatment at Soroka University Medical Center.

The President emotionally said to him: “Dear Farhan, how moving it is to hear your voice! Our brother has come home. Our brother has returned!”

Farhan thanked the President and responded: “I am grateful to the State of Israel, to the army, who came. People are suffering there. Do everything you can to bring people home. Work 24 hours, don’t sleep until they return. People are really suffering, you can’t imagine. Suddenly, I heard someone speaking Hebrew outside the door, I couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe it. I thank you very much. This is thanks to our army, they are doing a sacred duty, risking their lives. Thank you very much, Mr. President.”

The man is fortunate to be rescued after nearly a year in captivity. This is a prime example of how people of Arabic background aren't immune to Islamic tyranny, no matter their own religious upbringing. Now, this man's lucky to return to his family alive.

12 children in a Druze village in the Golan Heights murdered by Hezbollah rocket fire

The continuing attacks by the Hezbollah in Lebanon have resulted in a tragedy where 12 children of Druze descent were murdered at a soccer field in the Golan Heights:

Twelve children and teenagers were killed from a direct hit on a football field in Majdal Shams, a village located in the northern Golan Heights, with at least 30 more injured. Residents in the northern Golan and Upper Galilee have been instructed to stay close to protected areas.

Military sources estimate that a rocket landed on the football field where the children were present. The deadly impact has led to special preparations within the IDF, with senior officials indicating that they are preparing for a significant response following the tragic event.

Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that paramedics treated those critically injured, aged 10 to 20, some of whom were transferred to local clinics. Evacuation helicopters, ambulances, and intensive care units were dispatched to the scene.

Making matters worse was the BBC's coverage of this tragedy:

The BBC has been condemned for its reporting of Saturday’s deadly Hezbollah rocket attack on Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights.

The BBC’s article about the attack was headlined: “Ten dead in rocket attack on Israeli-occupied Golan.”

The headline, which was altered after a few hours, did not refer to Hezbollah, the Druze community, or that the rocket struck children playing football, while it appeared to imply a political justification for the killings.

The strike – which killed 12 young people aged 10-20 years old playing football in the Druze village – marks the deadliest day in Israel since October 7. The IDF has since identified the rocket fired from Lebanon as an Iranian-made weapon.

People were swift to slam the BBC coverage of the tragedy.

What it makes clear is that the BBC is no more respectable of the memory of people of Arabic descent than they are of Israelis. A most truly repulsive TV news channel.

Now, the government/military will have to really prove they can go to war with the Hezbollah if they want to make the area safe again. An attack on the terrorist cell inside Lebanon is long overdue.

Update: actor Sacha Baron-Cohen agrees that the BBC's coverage of the tragedy is offensive.

Hamas fired rockets at Jerusalem, one of which aimed at Al-Aqsa mosque

It turns out the Hamas has no qualms about endangering even the supposedly 3rd holiest site for Islam, the al-Aqsa mosque that was built in past centuries over the site where the Jerusalem Temple was built in the Old City. As Breitbart reports:

The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas fired rockets toward Jerusalem on Friday evening, as both Jews and Muslims were participating in prayers, endangering the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The rockets were intercepted and disabled by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, whose trails could be seen across the evening sky.

[...] One Hamas rocket reached the Palestinian Authority capital of Ramallah, landing near a hospital, the Times of Israel reported.

The Hamas will doubtless blame it all on Israel anyway, and so too will the PLO. But it does make clear that for them, it's entirely acceptable to sacrifice fellow Islamists if that's what it takes to destroy Israel.
