Bill O'Reilly goofs
I usually agree with Bill O'Reilly of FOX News, but, as Debbie Schlussel points out here, he's really off base here when he says that American Jews in Gaza don't want to leave because "they want cheap land." No, that's not the reason they took up residence there, it's for national/ideological reasons, and because they have respect for it too, far more than the Arabs do.
Neal Boortz gets it much more accurate when he points out that:

OK, I understand that the Israeli government is trying to make nice with the so-called "Palestinians." Once again the working theory seems to be that if you show the Arab side in this conflict that you're willing to negotiate and to bend they might actually decide to stop killing Jews and agree to live in some sort of side-by-side peaceful coexistence. Nice idea, and good try. It's not going to work. The Arab/Muslim goal is and will remain to not rest until every Jew, every Israeli is gone from the Middle East. It doesn't stop there. The Islamic jihadist's ultimate goal is to convert the world to Islam, and to subjugate those who refuse the conversion. The sooner we understand this the safer the non-Jewish and non-Islamic world will be.Now there's a good understanding of the Arab side. Which, in fact, is probably what O'Reilly should focus on next time.
