Tel-Chai Nation

Israel, much like the fortress of Tel-Chai that Jospeh Trumpeldor fought to defend against Arab conquerors in 1920, finds itself beseiged by enemies both within and without. Terrorists, would-be friends inside and outside Israel, and even bad government officials. Here are the discussions of one proud Zionist resident on the state of the nation and abroad.

The real reasons to criticize the Bush administration

Here are some things that opponents of the Bush administration might want to consider as the genuine reasons for being critical of the government.

Earlier this week, when the Saudi king Fahd died, the US government issued a statement of praise to the king of very same country that bred fifteen of the terrorists that attacked the World Trade Center. As it says here:
Under Fahd the United States suffered from Saudi Arabia raising oil prices many fold and suffered from Saudi terrorists who killed thousands in the World Trade Center and many in Iraq. Furthermore, the Saudis are the primary supporters of exporting the hateful ideology that is the source of terrorism throughout the world. The mosques you see in the United States and the radical clerics in them are products of Saudi Arabia's export program. To get an idea of the type of hatred Fahd's regime spread check out the Center for Religious Freedom study on Saudi textbooks used in the United States.
Now isn't that contradicting the stance they supposedly have against terrorism if they're willing to exclude the house of Saud from the list of states that are guilty of training and harboring terrorists?

Then, you could even add the fact that Bush has not even take steps against Cuba, right on America's front doorstep, where Fidel Castro still maintains a dictatorship upon the country. Nor have they taken any genuine steps to date to put a stop to the vicious slavemongering that continues in the Sudan, instead preferring to view the Islamist led government in Darfur as legitimate.

And then, there's even the fact that illegal aliens have been sneaking over the US borders, something that Dubya even admitted to recently. (H/T: Neal Boortz.) Yet, it appears that's all he's willing to do. As told here:
Bush has been criticized in recent months for not addressing the continual flow of illegal aliens across the border, but despite warnings that terrorists could be among those coming in, the president focused more on those seeking employment.
So coupled with even their willingness to exclude the PLO from the list of terrorist organizations worldwide, there you have some real reasons for criticizing the Bush administration. Yet is the crowd that opposes the war in Iraq going to take up any of the above reasons as some for which to criticize the Bush administration? Sadly, it is unlikely.

Update: also, The ZOA recently released a press article criticizing president Bush for condemning Jewish construction in Judea while ignoring Arab construction that's been conducted illegally, and also continuing to ignore many of their other violations of any accords they've signed as well:
"Even more troubling was hearing the President repeating the same worn-out demands of the Arabs, without proclaiming consequences if they are not fulfilled. Since the two-year-old Road Map was initiated, the Palestinian Arabs have not dismantled or disarmed the terrorist groups, arrested the terrorists, ended all the incitement to hatred and murder of Jews, closed the bomb factories, or changed the names of the schools and the sports teams named after Palestinian Arab suicide bombers. Instead the Palestinian Authority (PA) has hired 350 Hamas terrorists into its police force, blamed the Israeli occupation on suicide murders, and smuggled in thousands of missiles, mortars, and other artillery into Gaza. President Bush’s response to all this was quadrupling the amount of aid to the PA, calling for a Palestinian state at every opportunity, and saying the majority of Palestinians want peace when every poll shows a majority supports suicide bombings of Israelis."
Simply put, president Bush is no different from Clinton.
