New al Qaeda tape's got ties to a group that Dubya pandered to
Debbie Schlussel discovers that Adam Gadahn, the California kid turned traitor when he joined al Qaeda, has filmed a videotape in which he threatens more attacks on both Americans and Australians. And to make matters worse, State Dept. representative Karen Hughes has been pandering to a gang with ties to him and to terrorists:
Now, most head-shaking and sigh-inducing:

Update: Cal Thomas at Town Hall also points out that the approach Hughes is using is simply doomed to failure. And if anything, it's doing exactly what the Democrats and other moonbats advocate.
Remember Adam Gadahn, the California-kid-turned-Al-Qaeda-Activist? He was one of the ten most wanted announced by John Ashcroft and FBI Director Robert Mueller in a press conference, last year.I second that question, and offer another one to go with it: does this mean that the search for Gadahn's been called off?
And today, in honor of 9/11's fourth anniversary, he is the speaker on an Al-Qaeda tape dropped off at ABC News' Paki headquarters--promising more attacks against Americans (and Australians).
Question for the Bush Administration: If he's among the most wanted and on today's tape, why did Bush dispatch Karen Hughes to pander to the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a week ago? As I wrote, Muzammil Siddiqi, the longtime (and still active in another capacity) chief of ISNA, was Adam Gadahn's extremist imam. He endorses, and is an apologist for, Islamic terrorism--just like ISNA.
Yet, clueless Hughes actually had the gall to call his group, ISNA, a moderate Muslim group and voice against extremists. Right. And Bin Laden is a moderate Muslim and voice against extremists, too. Then she claimed that there was too much "demonization" of Islam and Muslims. ISNA does a pretty good job of demonizing Islam and Muslims itself. Maybe, for once, Hughes and the Bush Administration should listen to what this organization is saying they want to do to our country--and take their word for it.But if there's anything it indicates, it's that the Bush administration is still working as fervently as ever to be as duplicitous as possible towards the American public.
Now, most head-shaking and sigh-inducing:
Hughes said her job is to improve the U.S. image in the Muslim world. Here's a tip: Pandering and being a fool is not respected in the Islamic world. It's a sign of weakness. By going to this hate-fest, Hughes failed immensely. Muslims are laughing at this high-profile dupe.Exactly. And let's be perfectly clear here: it is the Islamic world that needs to improve its own image, not the other way around. Do I need to point out how pathetic this act Mrs. Hughes, and come to think of it, the Bush administration, are carrying out is? Or that it's been heard many times before? Not at all.
Yet another hint that we have not changed a damn thing since the first 9/11. Except increase our idiotic pandering to extremist Muslim groups who hate us.
