Al-Arian aquitted, thanks to incompetant prosecutors
Sister Toldjah and Cuanas report that Sami Al-Arian, the Florida professor and Islamic terrorist supporter who arranged meetings with one of the culprits in the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center, has been aquitted on all 8 terror-related charges, ditto his co-defendants, thanks mainly to an incredibly abysmal Justice Department.
Debbie Schlussel predicted that this would happen, and it appears that prosecutor Cherie Krigsman is mainly to blame for this. Sadly, it is unlikely that she will resign, nor any other incompetant staff member. In fact, Schlussel spoke about this earlier, how ever since 9-11, there have been little to virtually no authority representatives in America or other such countries that have taken responsibility for having screwed up and resigned from their posts. And it's even more ironic when you see that the chief Jordanian security director leaves his job following the suicide bombings in Amman, yet those in America don't do anything of the sort. Thanks to this, terrorist leaders, the most dangerous of the gangs and ideologies, can be given the impression that they'll be able to do as they please, and that they'll be able to get off scot-free.
We can only hope, as Schlussel says, that when Judge Alito becomes Chief Justice that he can make the repairs crucial to dealing with cases like these at the Justice Dept. To effectively win the war on terror, we need genuinely dedicated and talented people to head the Justice Dept. and even the FBI, and not a bunch of bunglers.
