(IsraelNN.com) An Evangelical church in Uppsala, Sweden was targeted for an attack by terrorists, according to charges brought against three men in Sweden this past week. The case, brought against three Swedes of Iranian, Bosnian and native Swedish backgrounds, is the first such prosecution for terrorist attacks planned against targets in Sweden.

Christian preacher Ulf Ekman's Word of Life (Livets Ord) evangelical church in Uppsala was the target of the alleged terror plot. Chief prosecutor Tomas Lindstrand told Swedish media, "The motive for the plan is rooted in the fact that Livets Ord is pro-Israeli." Ulf and Birgitta Ekman founded Operation Jabotinsky in 1993, whose purpose is to help Jews from the former Soviet Union immigrate to Israel and to teach Russian Christians about support for Israel and the Jewish people.

Police investigating an earlier failed bombing of an Iraqi expatriate voting station in Stockholm discovered references to the alleged plot on the computer of one of the conspirators. Evidence against the men, much of it gleaned from Internet chatrooms and questioning, includes apparent surveillance and intelligence gathering images of the Livets Ord headquarters.

While it's good that the Swedish government took steps to arrest those three Islamofascists, this still doesn't excuse the fact that they boycotted an army training program in Italy because Israel was involved, all this apparently in order to appease the Muslim population there, and what for? Because they hope they'll make a good source to turn to for the upcoming national elections in Sweden. All this after the atrocities committed by Muslim immigrants in Sweden over the years. This is why all residents of Sweden angry at how the government has allowed these crimes to carry on should hit the socialist government where it hurts at the ballot stations.
