House lifts ban on offshore oil drilling, but will Senate approve it as well?
Congress has approved of offshore oil drilling (H/T: Hot Air), which wasn't allowed for about a quarter century (!). However, it remains to be seen if the Senate will follow through. The Republicans certainly better, because it could be very crucial for maintaining the House in November.
I'd say this is something on which to lobby for approval for in the Senate, because, if oil drilling in the US offshore can be approved, it could lead to less expenses in currency. And we certainly don't need Saudi oil, that's for sure.

I fully agree. And if the Senate approves offshore drilling and for Alaska as well, it could be a big and much needed boost for the Republicans in November.
