Avigdor Lieberman sells out

Boy, what a total wimp Avigdor Lieberman turns out to be. With this news, it's apparent that he doesn't have any solid standings.

It's to be hoped that this won't last long, and that Shas, which objects to the kind of civil marriages that Lieberman supports, as noted here, will choose wisely and leave the government. The empty deal Lieberman made does seem to have brought up some angry responses among Yisrael Beitenu's other members already (via Shiloh Musings). Perhaps they might think to come and join the Likud, instead of wasting their time with some so power-greedy, he'd forfeit all positions he supposedly ever stood for?
