Jeanne Kirkpatrick, RIP

The former UN ambassador who spoke against the blame-America mentality constant at the UN has passed away (H/T: Michelle Malkin and The Corner).

Kirkpatrick had also warned in her time that creating a palestinian state would be catastrophic (via IRIS Blog):
It would be a step backward in America’s fight against international terrorism…When we accept a terrorist state as legitimate, we strengthen terrorist groups," she said. Dr. Kirkpatrick said that while the Oslo accords were supposed to bring Israel peace and safety, "the situation is more dangerous for Israel now than it’s ever been." She emphasized that "The destruction of Israel and expulsion of the Jews has been the goal of the PLO since its beginning in 1964 and continues to this day."
This is another very important reminder why funding for the PLO must be cut off and they must be returned to the list of most dangerous terrorists.

About me

  • I'm Avi Green
  • From Jerusalem, Israel
  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
