It's about time: now the rocket launchers were dealt with
Now the IDF is taking affirmative action against the Hamas missile launchers:
After an extended policy of restraint in the face of almost daily rockets attacks from Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces finally struck back, hitting a target in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday afternoon. Israel has maintained a policy of restraint since a ceasefire was declared in November 2006 despite Palestinian refusal to stop the rocket attacks. It's still coming awfully late, however, and doesn't compensate for the damage that was already done.
The army reported that the target was a Qassam launching cell made up of three terrorists, who were apparently struck just before launching rockets into Israel.
