Bad version of Flight 93 memorial was result of soulless bueracracy
Jonathan Last reports in the Weekly Standard (via Michelle Malkin) about just what led to the politically correct version of the Flight 93 memorial design plan two years ago. An interesting article, but let us note that as of now, I cannot tell if the design has been truly altered so as to eliminate any shape of a crescent altogether. Here's the last topic I'd written about it until now, where I point to another source who detected that it still has some unpleasant features in it. If it still does in any ways contain signs of a crescent or even contain monumental units that are in any ways dedicated to the terrorists, then that's not only wrong, it's showing that the architect assigned to the job is a truly dishonest lunatic who should not be allowed to work on any political projects.
The exact designs that will be used for the Flight 93 Memorial still need to have an eye kept on, as it's still vulnerable to PC-ness. And that's something that can't be allowed.
