British police have no credibility
They wouldn't help a victim of an "honor murder" (I never use just the word killing for things like this), and their refusal to offer any help led to the girl's being murdered (via Dhimmi Watch):
Miss Banaz had asked police for help four times but was not taken seriously. She even gave officers a list of five people she suspected would harm her and Mr Sulemani.In the US, she would have gotten help of some sort from the law. But in the UK, she was otherwise abandoned by it.
