John Reynolds shouldn't be head of the Memorial Project
Alec Rawls at Error Theory reports that John Reynolds, the head of the Flight 93 Memorial project, has gone public about the argument that the proposed design still looks like an Islamic crescent. Unfortunately, Reynolds refuses to accept this, and even seem to think that Islamic prayer is determined by shadow angle, when it's really determined by direction towards Mecca.
I think that John Reynolds should be taken off the project if he's going to respond so dishonestly, and not accept that the design that looks like a crescent is just plain wrong.
