Omar Bakri wants Islamic flag to fly from Big Ben

YnetNews (via Hot Air Headlines) reports:

Islamic fundamentalist cleric Omar Bakri has warned that "the day will come that the flag of Islam will fly over the Big Ben and the British Parliament."

Bakri made the comments during an interview with the London-based Arabic-language daily al-Sharq al-Awsat.

I get the feeling he likes the ominous big bongs that the clock tower makes every hour. He probably doesn't like the first ringtones though, which sound similar to church bells. It's possible that he'd want to "fix" that, so that just the louder bongs will remain, as it would sound like a sound of doom, which, IMO, is what the louder bongs almost sound like.
