Well, isn't that obvious? And what isn't?

Dr. Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, who caused plenty of controversy in Britain a few months ago after he gave his approval to introducing Shari'a in the UK, has added insult to injury by slighting his own faith: he claims that the Christian doctrine is offensive to Muslims (Hat tip: Hot Air Headlines):
Christian doctrine is offensive to Muslims, the Archbishop of Canterbury said yesterday.

Dr Rowan Williams also criticised Christianity's history for its violence, its use of harsh punishments and its betrayal of its peaceful principles.
As if Islam is any better. Right. Such bizarre moral equivalence. And it should be pretty obvious by now that just about anything of the sort is offensive to Muslims, but are we supposed to put up with that? Alas, Williams seems to do so, and worse.
His comments came in a highly conciliatory letter to Islamic leaders calling for an alliance between the two faiths for 'the common good'.

But it risked fresh controversy for the Archbishop in the wake of his pronouncement earlier this year that a place should be found for Islamic sharia law in the British legal system.

Dr Williams is also facing immense pressures from inside his own Church of England and Anglican Communion.
Perhaps they'd be helping themselves by throwing him out. And if that's how he feels about Islam, then maybe Williams would be better off converting, for all that anyone with common sense cares!

I wonder how many so-called rabbis out there (Reform sect, I'd figure) have performed the same dhimmitude as he has, and if they'll continue it even now? Well rest assured readers, I'm well aware that such dhimmis are out there, and I consider them to be as much of a disgrace to the Judaist faith as Williams is to the Christian faith.
