Britain's shari'a sham

The American Thinker writes about how Britain is taking first steps (actually, I'd say they already have, and it's not even ended yet) towards allowing shari'a law to be run within the UK. Under this atrocious "law" women will not be garunteed immediate rights to divorce. Also:

This would constitute a slippery slope to parallel legal systems and an inevitable clash of legal and political cultures. Indeed, as David J. Rusin has written this will only serve to "embolden radicals and marginalize moderates". It will also lead to further ghettoization of Muslim communities and intensify a growing detachment of British Muslims from the country's common law-based culture and political processes.But this is England we're talking about, where they probably even stifle the talk of having a constitution similar to that of the US. Already, we've seen how they've allowed for monetary bonds and even credit cards that service shari'a, and even Islamic-run banks. England is fast becoming the ultimate example of a dhimmi country with no solid identity.
