And now some more briefs

Would you believe it: the Los Angeles Times has criticized CNN for doing a smear piece against Sarah Palin (Hat tip: Hot Air). When they're the ones to write such an entry, you know CNN may have really crossed the line.

Democrat Congressman Tim Mahoney of Florida was revealed to be having an affair some time ago. Now, there's more news that he may have had another affair as well.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Hours after a married congressman addressed a report that he had an affair with a former aide and paid her to keep quiet about it, details of a purported tryst with a second woman surfaced.

Though Democratic U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney did not directly mention allegations first reported by ABC News that he had been involved with the former aide, he issued a statement apologizing to his family but denying he'd done anything illegal.

Later Tuesday, a person close to his campaign told The Associated Press that Mahoney also was having an affair with a second woman around the same time.
Now will this get the same kind of coverage that the case of Republican Mark Foley got? Don't be too sure, though this is the second item I've seen after ABC's own report.

Michelle Malkin has another voter fraud alert that tells about Obama activists from out-of-state who registered in Ohio and wrongfully got absentee ballots.

A Sixth Circuit Court has ordered Ohio to implement a new system to verify voter registrations.

ACORN, get this, tried to register Mickey Mouse to vote! More news sources are beginning to cover this whole mess, including the Plain Dealer, CNN, and WSJ.

Stephen Harper and the conservatives have won another election in Canada. For conservatives, that is good news.

A reader at Debbie Schlussel's found some startling clues that Obama was involved with Nation of Islam figures.

You've probably heard how Obama wants to "spread the wealth" around, a very misleading statement. Family Security Matters has an interview with a plumber whose own wealth appears to be exactly what Obama would like to redistribute.

I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
