Effie Eitam makes special deal with Likud

This could even signal that he's apologizing for causing the Likud any trouble a few years ago. He's close to making a deal for joining up with the Likud now:
(IsraelNN.com) With the deadline for submitting list of Knesset candidates only four days away, Effie Eitam’s Achi party and the Likud are rushing to complete negotiations for a technical alliance of the two, in time for the upcoming elections.

Details of the arrangement are sparse, but it appears that Eitam, and possibly also his Achi ally Rabbi Yitzchak Levy, will be inserted into the current Likud list.
I think it's a good, respectable arrangement they've made, and the cooperation between religious and secular/traditionalists is certainly important too.
