Will they or won't they?
Israel's government is supposedly getting ready, I presume, for a ground strike, not just simply an air strike, on Hamas in Gaza. But don't be sure if they'll be convincing about this.
Egypt is trying to undermine efforts to do it already. They say they're angry at Hamas for ending the "truce", as if there ever was one in the first place, yet they warn Israel against a "devastating" assault on Gaza. Believe me, Egypt is not improving, and I wouldn't be surprised if in another decade, they'll collapse into a worse situation once again.
