UN killing free speech to please Muslims
Nat Hentoff writes in the Washington Times (via Hot Air Headlines) about how the United Nations, at the behest of Islamic countries membering with them, is trying to suppress free speech against religion, specifically Islam:
It is time already for many countries that want to keep themselves safe from Islamofascism to leave the UN already, which would send a message to their disgusting directors about just how lowly they're being. With Obama as president now though, who knows if the US will be able to do that so easily?
Only Islam and Muslims are specifically named in this resolution against religious defamation, sponsored by Uganda on behalf of the 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference, and cosponsored by Belarus and Venezuela. Opponents included the United States, a majority of European countries, Japan and India.Ah, and Venezuela is one of the dictatorships emerging in Latin America in these modern times. As for Belarus, I guess they're one of those that are...doomed? Because if they're going to sponsor a bill like this...
