MSM demonization of Rifqa Bary continues
But even more disgusting is the hostility of one Michael Kruse, a "journalist" for the St. Petersburg Times, who fabricates things in his articles, and clearly has a dislike for women. For example, he writes:
[Rifqa Bary] was in court Thursday, wearing a brown sweater, a white dress and dark red nail polish. She said nothing, but did blow an occasional kiss to people she knew in the courtroom when she wasn't reading her Bible. But as Pamela Geller, who was at the court, tells, she did not have any dark red nail polish nor did she blow kisses to anyone, though I will have to assume that Kruse does not believe girls should be allowed to be pretty (update: in the picture provided in this topic, she may be wearing pinkish-colored nail polish, but the challenging question here is: is this really important? Is it really newsworthy? Indeed, who other than an Islamist who despises a girl's right to be beautiful cares?). The man is a downright disgrace to sensationalize the whole affair. He also signaled his contempt for anything spiritual, and even paid lip service to the current "attorney" for the "parents". More on this bad man at Jihad Watch and Winds of Jihad.
Also, Mohammed Lufti, the disgrace who interrupted the press conference, is a bin Laden sympathiser.
The "attorney" Shayan Elahi, is now filing a Writ of Prohibition at the 5th district court of Florida to stop the current proceedings in the case at the Thomas S. Kirk Juvenile Justice Center, and want to have her ruled as insane. This is most truly disgusting.
Update: and Jihad Watch finds the Orlando Sentinel rooting for a murder to happen again. I think it's high time for people to boycott that dirty paper once and for all, if that's how they're going to behave.
Update 2: Rifqa may have been sexually abused by her uncle, and her mother did nothing about it.
Update 3: here's another entry on the case, focusing on how the Islamists and their sympathisers are continuing with their demonization of the Church, which includes a whole list of victims of other honor murders and mutilations. And here's one more on how Rifqa's rights were violated by not allowing her an attorney during an interrogation.
