Will the FBI investigate Hasan's al Qaeda ties properly?

The Weekly Standard writes about whether the authorities are going to run a proper investigation this time on the murderous Malik Nidal Hasan, noting that they fumbled the ball at least twice. They also note the evidence discovered linking him to a dangerous al Qaeda recruiter named Anwar al Awlaki. More at the link.

Update: there's also the question of who will get the jurisdiction to prosecute Hasan for his heinous crimes, and if it will avail in ensuring that he'll get the harshest punishment available.

Update 2: who knew that Hasan even frequented strip joints (via Hot Air Headlines)?
“He preferred the blondes,” said Jenner, whose hair was dyed blond at the time. “He said he was a medic and that he was being deployed soon, but mostly he wanted to ask us questions.”

“He asked us why we were working at the strip club, if we liked the lifestyle, if we had any kids,” she said. “It was right before Halloween so he asked what our kids were dressing up as. He just wanted to know a lot about us.”
Conclusions could be drawn from this that he was some kind of pervert, and at the same time that he was trying to draw them to Islam and other worse things. If anything, he's certainly a character whom women should stay far away from.

Update 3: here's another report on Awlaki from FOX. A serious question is if the dangerous imam will be arrested for his dangerous incitement.
