Turkey is still demanding an apology over the flotilla affair, which they started:
Turkey continues to demand an apology for the clash aboard a Gaza-bound flotilla in which nine Turkish citizens were killed after attacking IDF soldiers. On Monday, Turkey's Hurriyet newspaper quoted Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu as saying that Turkey will cut ties with Israel if Israel does not apologize for the incident.Well what are you waiting for, Erdogan?!? Hurry up and spare us all the further farcical nonsense.
Turkey's hopes for an apology will go unanswered, said Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman. “We have no intention of apologizing. In fact, we think it should be the other way around,” he declared Monday. That's right.
An anonymous senior Israeli official made similar remarks to CNN. “Israel will never apologize for defending its citizens,” the official said. “Of course we regret the loss of life, but it was not the Israeli side that initiated the violence.”
