More anti-government riots flaring up across mideast

And you can be sure it's not a good thing. There's been mayhem in Libya, for example, and even in Bahrain, and Yemen, and Jordan may not be far behind either.

On top of all that, it's not good for Israel, or the rest of the west, for that matter.

To the extent radical Arab regimes remain in power by massacring their subjects, that's one side of the coin.

The other side of the coin is fall of the few pro-Western regimes in the region not inclined to use forces to crush their own radicals that seek to replace them in their countries.

However it turns out, the one thing that can safely predicted is Arab regimes, whether old that remain or new that take their place, won't be friends of the US and Israel.

About me

  • I'm Avi Green
  • From Jerusalem, Israel
  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I do not know if I'll ever be as good as him, but I do my best.
