Why not say what that ideology is clearly?

Federalist writer Brianna Lyman argues it's not Zohran Mamdani who's the problem in the USA now, but rather, immigration of people who uphold the same kind of ideologies he does, which she curiously won't specify:

That said, conservatives still face a serious problem — it’s just not the threat Cruz and McCain are warning against.

The real danger is an immigration system that has imported millions of new residents and aspiring leaders (like Mamdani) who seek to fundamentally destroy the republic and replace it with the same kind of failed ideologies found in the very places these immigrants fled.

Mamdani is example No. 1: a Ugandan-born socialist whose politics are fundamentally hostile to and incompatible with the republic. An October survey from Patriot Polling showed just how necessary New York’s foreign-born population was to Mamdani’s winning coalition. The poll found he led among foreign-born New York residents with 62 percent support compared with just 31 percent of American-born support. Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Republican mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa had 40 percent and 25 percent support, respectively, among native-born Americans.

Mamdani himself has acknowledged that immigrants were decisive in his rise. He made a point of relating a conversation with one voter who said, “I just got my citizenship. And I’m voting for you.”

Mamdani then specifically thanked immigrants for powering his campaign during his victory speech: “We will fight for you, because we are you. Or, as we say on Steinway, ana minkum wa alaikum. Thank you to those so often forgotten by the politics of our city, who made this movement their own. I speak of Yemeni bodega owners and Mexican abuelas. Senegalese taxi drivers and Uzbek nurses. Trinidadian line cooks and Ethiopian aunties.” He went on to assert that “New York will remain a city of immigrants: a city built by immigrants, powered by immigrants and, as of tonight, led by an immigrant.”

The speech was an acknowledgment of an electorate fundamentally transformed by immigration. America willingly imported foreigners who are fundamentally incompatible with the republic, and they make it clear through their voting patterns.

The part where Mamdani made use of an Arabic phrase is the closest this item gets to alluding to anything about the Religion of Peace. Gee, why exactly doesn't Mrs. Lyman have the courage it takes to raise the issue outright? How can even communism be opposed if nobody's going to make things clear? Why, what about Scientology? Let's not think that couldn't also be a problem.

This is another Federalist article that falls way short of potential, all because specific ideologies aren't named, and it's not enough to mention socialism either if you don't also make clear why Islam's a serious problem. Not that we should be surprised an online magazine whose own editor is a bad lot could water things down so laughably. For all we know, if the editor's a shameful person, who knows if he's even willing to advocate defending Europe if they're conquered by Islam? This is sadly a far different era than that of WW2, and if he won't support defeating Iran's Islamofascist regime convincingly, then we can't take his word at face value that he allegedly cares about Europe. Failure to clearly acknowledge Islam and communism being an enemy is another serious letdown.

Britain allows convicted jihadist to run for Birmingham city council

The UK government continues to enable decay, moral or otherwise, by allowing a convicted jihadist to run for Birmingham council:

A convicted jihadist who was previously jailed for his role in an armed terrorist plot on a British consulate has confirmed that he will be running in a council election in the multicultural hub of Birmingham.

Pakistani-born Shahid Butt, 60, has attempted to downplay the Islamist infiltration of the United Kingdom, despite running for office as a convicted terrorist.

Butt is running to represent the overwhelmingly Muslim area of Sparkhill on the city council of Birmingham, Britain’s second-largest city.

The council candidate was convicted in 1999 of having formed an armed terror group planning to attack an Anglican Church, a Swiss-owned hotel, and the British consulate in Yemen, the Birmingham Mail reported.

Butt’s group was also alleged to have been tied to an Islamist group that kidnapped 16 and killed four Western people in 1998 in Yemen.

His violent past stretched before that, however, having been jailed for his role in street violence in the 1980s in Birmingham, where his parents migrated to from Pakistan. Butt is alleged to have been a member of the Pakistani Lynx gang, which would clash with nativist groups in racist street battles.

The Islamic activist has also recently called upon Muslim youth in Birmingham to “work out at the gym and learn to fight” to be prepared for potential attacks from “disbelievers”.

In November, Butt also called on Muslims from around Britain to descend on Birmingham during the Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer match in the city. He told followers that they needed to stop Israeli fans “desecrating” and “dirtying” the city, while also claiming that “babykiller” Israeli soldiers would also be in attendance.

Visiting Israeli football fans were ultimately banned from attending by local police, who attempted to claim that there were concerns over the Israeli fans, when in reality they were concerned over violence from the local Muslim population. The local police chief was later forced to resign after it emerged that the force had relied on fake evidence produced by an AI chatbot to accuse the Tel Aviv fans of wrongdoing.

If the UK government refuses to take any steps to bar Butt from running for and working in what's basically a local government outfit, they've only brought the country down even further.

War with Iran may have to resume

New information about Iran continuing to try and rebuilt its arsenals of missiles makes clear the war against Iran is bound to resume:

Iran’s renewed push to rebuild its ballistic missile arsenal now poses as grave a threat as its nuclear program, US Sen. Lindsey Graham (R - South Carolina) warned in an interview with The Jerusalem Post on Sunday.

“This trip is about elevating the risk ballistic missiles pose to Israel,” Graham told the Post.

In response to concerns raised by many Israeli officials about Trump discussing only the nuclear threat and neglecting the ballistic missile threat, he stated, “That’s changing. We cannot allow Iran to produce ballistic missiles because they could overwhelm the Iron Dome. It’s a major threat.”

No doubt at all. Of course, it's regrettable if nobody wants to conduct a ground raid on Iran, something their tyrants are doubtlessly counting upon, and which they'll exploit for all it's worth. As told here, Lindsey Graham said:

Graham stopped short of calling for regime change by force, but made clear he wants Iran’s leadership severely weakened. “I think the people of Iran will do it,” he said. “I want to destroy their capability to produce ballistic missiles. I want to make sure they can never enrich one ounce of uranium or plutonium,” he said. “And I want their proxies – Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis – dealt with effectively.”

Without Iran, he argued, none of those groups could survive. “They’re a fanatical regime. They oppress their own people. I pray for this regime to fall – but I’m not advocating an American invasion of Iran.”

Well maybe that's exactly the problem here. The Bush administration, bad as they were, was willing to conduct a ground strike on Afghanistan and Iraq, but Trump's isn't willing to do the same with Iran? That doesn't look good, if it's the case.

The current IDF chief of staff indicated another war with Iran is bound to happen:

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir warned Sunday that the military will strike Israel’s enemies “wherever required, on near and distant fronts alike,” apparently hinting that Israel may again need to attack in Iran.

“At the center of the longest and most complex war in Israel’s history stands the campaign against Iran,” he said, in reference to the multifront war that erupted on October 7, 2023, with Hamas’s attack on southern Israel, and drew in Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Yemen’s Houthis, Iraqi militias and the Islamic Republic itself.

“Iran is the one that financed and armed the ring of strangulation around Israel and stood behind the plans for its destruction,” he said at a changeover ceremony for the head of the IDF Planning Directorate.

Zamir’s comments came a day after NBC News reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will present plans for a new potential attack on Iran to US President Donald Trump during his upcoming visit to Washington.

According to the report, which cited several unnamed officials with knowledge of the matter, Israel is growing increasingly concerned that Iran is rebuilding and even expanding its ballistic missile production in the wake of the nations’ 12-day war in June.

If another attack on Iran's evil bases is needed, then clearly, something must be done.

Air defenses against drones must be improved

A drone strike by Houthis in Yemen led to 20 people being injured in Eilat:

A drone launched from Yemen struck Eilat on Wednesday evening, wounding at least 20 people in the city’s tourist district near the Mall HaYam shopping center, Israeli authorities said.

Magen David Adom reported that at least five people were hit by shrapnel, one of them seriously. Others were treated for anxiety. All were evacuated to Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat.

The IDF said interception attempts were made but failed. “Rescue forces are operating in the area where the fall was reported. We ask the public to continue following updated Home Front Command instructions,” the military said.

It's to be hoped all victims will be okay. Serious efforts are going to have to be made in order to prevent drones from coming within range of populated areas, and that includes how to use machine gun fire to strike the drones, if it helps.

IDF strikes at key ports used by Houthis in Yemen

After the Houthis terrorist organization fired a rocket that struck the Ben-Gurion airport, the IDF took to destroying key routes used by the jihadists for supplies from Iran:

Israel destroyed the main airport in Sana’a, Yemen, the country’s capital, to prevent the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels from using it to rearm their missiles and resupply their forces, in the latest counterattack.

Tuesday’s airstrikes were the second in as many days, after the Israeli Air Force (IAF) attacked the Hodeidah port Monday, following a Houthi missile attack on Sunday that hit Israel’s main airport, Ben Gurion.

Of course, Iran itself still remains a serious threat, as they too have similar weapons they can fire from their area. Which is why the Israeli government's hinted at taking out Iran's key distribution areas too. And we must hope the IDF does.

Update: in addition to the above news, another vital read is the following report about Iran's involvement in the October 7, 2023 massacre in southern Israel:

The Iranian explosive charge, discovered near Kibbutz Alumim and carried by Hamas terrorists during the brutal onslaught of October 7, is not a random artifact - it is yet another direct piece of evidence of Tehran's involvement in the October 7 massacre.

Iran has never concealed its broad support for Hamas. On the contrary, it proudly boasts of arming, training and funding the terrorist group's infrastructure for years. Supreme Leader Khamenei openly praises the massacre but attempts to shirk responsibility. Yet as more evidence surfaces, including Hamas documents seized by the IDF during fighting in Gaza, Iran's denials ring increasingly hollow.

The documents reveal that the Quds Force, particularly its Palestinian branch led by Saeed Izadi, was actively involved in planning a wide-ranging terror campaign against Israel. Ultimately, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar proceeded without final coordination with Tehran or Hezbollah, thus averting an even more lethal combined assault.

Utterly abominable. The time for destroying Iran's government and military is long overdue.

A year since October 7, 2023

Joel Pollak reports on the memorial service that took place a year to the day when the Hamas committed a bloodbath on October 7, 2023:

Israel paused Monday to observe the anniversary of the terror attack of October 7, 2023, when Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists brutally murdered 1200 Israelis and abducted over 250 hostages, often torturing and raping their victims.

In the year since, Israel has smashed the Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza; begun uprooting Hezbollah terrorists from its northern border; destroyed facilities in Yemen used by Houthi rebels; and threatened Iran itself with attack.

Israelis cannot move on past October 7 while there are still roughly 100 hostages being held by Hamas. Though some 34 are believed to be dead, many are thought to be alive. Public ceremonies and demonstrations on Monday in Israel stressed the need to bring the hostages home — whether through a diplomatic deal or, if possible, by military rescue.

[...] Politically, Israel is a more united and cohesive nation than it was on October 6, 2023. When the terrorists attacked, Israelis ran toward the battle, with reservists driving across the country to join the fight. Volunteers emerged to do whatever was needed for those in the line of fire, or anyone affected by the war. Israelis know they cannot be broken.

The same is not true of the West, where mobs celebrated the October 7 attack in the streets of major cities and turned elite universities into cesspools of antisemitism.

A political reckoning may soon be coming for the weak leaders that allowed America, and Europe, to slide toward the abyss.

Until it does, Israel is leading the West’s fight for survival.

Well France's Emmanuel Macron sure didn't help matters when he called for stopping weapons supplies to Israel, nor did the UK's premier Keir Starmer. That Biden/Harris have otherwise been poor in their approach to the issue is also doing harm. Donald Trump, by contrast, has been supporting Israel properly, and says the IDF should destroy Iran's nuclear program. For now, what certain European leaders have done, along with leftist USA leaders, is going to cause massive damage in the long run, and will take a long time to mend.

Update: Trump also visited the Chabad center's Ohel site in Queens, NYC for the memorial service.

IDF blasts Houthis terror group in Yemen

The IDF's taken more aviation steps to punish the jihadists in Yemen:

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) punched back at Houthi terrorists in Yemen on Sunday after the Iranian-backed terrorist group fired missiles at Israel the last two days.

The strikes come just a couple of days after Israel killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in southern Lebanon.

The Israel Air Force “struck military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime in Yemen in response to their recent attacks against Israel,” the IDF said a statement. “The targets included power plants and a seaport, which were used by the Houthis to transfer Iranian weapons to the region, in addition to military supplies and oil.”

The Houthis have disrupted global shipping routes in the Red Sea over the last year with terrorist attacks on ships and attacks on Western navies defending the area.

Israel’s strikes against the Houthis in Yemen are in sharp contrast to the Biden-Harris administration failing to respond to dozens of missiles and drones that were fired at the U.S. Navy late last week.

This is definitely telling. So Israel's military is doing what the USA's under Biden-Harris won't. In any event, the war against the monsters now becoming more violent in the middle east is not over.

Jabotinsky's legacy is crucial for fighting Iran

According to this Jerusalem Post editorial, which discusses the depressing realization that Iran could attack Israel any moment:

For the second time in months, Israelis are sitting, waiting, and twiddling their thumbs, as Iran and its proxies have promised to exact revenge on the Jewish state in response to the deaths of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh – who was assassinated in Tehran early Wednesday in an alleged Israeli operation – and the killing of senior Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr, who was targeted in Beirut.

Where and when this grand act of revenge will occur is proving challenging to estimate. Western intelligence sources told Sky News Arabia that they had evidence that Iran plans to attack Israel on Tisha B’av next week. Other reports quote US and Israeli security officials as saying that the attack may come as early as today, leaving Israelis in limbo.

The promised retaliation threatens to be far, far greater than that when Iran directly attacked Israel for the first time in April. Then, 300 missiles and drones were launched at Israel. But with the promise of assistance from Hezbollah and the Yemen-based Houthis this time, the attack could be much, much larger and much more dangerous.

This is a genuinely worrying time for Israelis, many of whom will be too young to remember the Second Intifada or have only known military operations taking place on Israel’s periphery. Under normal circumstances, people could expect to look to their leader to provide strength, guidance, and cohesion, but that is proving to be a damp squib. So, if we cannot look to the present for inspiration, what about the past?

IAF strikes at Yemen after drone attack that struck Tel Aviv

An explosive drone struck Tel Aviv yesterday after security forces failed to stop it, and it resulted in the death of a 50-year-old man. Now, the IAF has struck Yemen in retaliation after tracing the drone to them:

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Saturday that it had struck the “Houthi terrorist regime” in Yemen for the first time, launching a long-distance airstrike on the Al Hudaydah Port, targeting the origin of a drone that hit Israel Friday.

The attack came in response to a Houthi drone that reached Tel Aviv on Friday, killing one Israeli civilian and wounding eight others after slipping past Israeli air defenses due to what the IDF called “human error.”

Well that was very irresponsible that they clearly assigned people who were asleep at the wheel on this issue. Or, maybe the same army officials who enabled October 7, 2023 to happen had something to do with the disaster that occurred here? This is exactly why a considerable cleanup is needed in the military to distance anybody who could be far-left from the staff.

Israel’s Army Radio said that Israel had destroyed both military targets and utilities that are used by the Houthis, such as fuel and electricity installations. The Times of Israel added that one of the goals of the attack was to disable the port through which Iran brings in weapons.

That makes for a good start, but Iran's forces will have to be smashed next.

University students who hate Israel most are also the most poorly informed

Robert Spencer discusses the continuing horror story unfolding at universities flooded with antisemitism and Islamophilia:

Algemeiner reported recently that “students who care strongly about the ‘Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories’ do not have knowledge of basic facts surrounding the subject, and do not share similar concerns about other geopolitical conflicts.” This wholly unstartling fact comes from a survey of 230 undergraduates at University of California, Berkeley. Ron Hassner, who has the unenviable position of being Berkeley’s Helen Diller Family Chair in Israel Studies, conducted this survey, which began by presenting students with 18 issues and asking them to rate how interested they were in them.

Hassner explained that these issues included “US-Iran relations, the civil war in Yemen, drone warfare, etc., on a five point scale, ranging from ‘I’m not that interested’ (1 point out of 5) to ‘I care deeply’ (5 points out of 5).” The survey went on from there to ask the respondents a “series of open-ended questions ‘on history, geography, and current affairs.’”

According to Hassner, 43 percent of the students were most interested in Israel’s alleged “control of Palestinian territories,” while expressing much less interest in “other Middle East occupations, such as the Kurdish struggle for independence, the occupation of Western Sahara, or the occupation of Northern Cyprus.” That’s understandable. These indoctrinated bots aren’t inundated daily with self-righteous Leftist twaddle about the massive, howling, world-historical injustice of the occupation of Western Sahara or Northern Cyprus. They likely haven’t even heard of either one.

That’s a reasonable conclusion to come to in light of the fact that they know virtually nothing about the conflict that they do profess to care, and care very deeply, about: “Eighty-four percent of those in the most passionate cohort could not name the decade when Israel captured the West Bank, while 75 percent could not locate the Palestinian territories in question on a map.” Moreover, a full twenty-five percent of these programmed and propagandized student “placed the Palestinian Territories west of Lebanon, in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.” Nor did just a few of them drive the Palestinians into the sea that they chant about wanting to fill with Israelis: “The class average for this blunder was 14%.”

Strikingly, the survey data also showed that “students who expressed the most interest in the Palestinian issue were less informed than more moderate peers, who ‘are more likely to admit gaps in their knowledge and, as a result, are less likely to hold erroneous beliefs.’” Thus “like the rest of the class, only 25% of passionate students placed the Palestinian Territories, correctly, south of Lebanon. But students with more moderate levels of enthusiasm provided the correct answer 28% of the time.”

No doubt, these students who sided with the Hamas/PLO couldn't care less about the plight of Armenians during WW1 either, and it's also chilling to wonder what they think of 9-11. Many years later now, we're seeing the fiasco of leftist influence at schools in motion, and it's bound to get much worse soon enough.

Saudi forces murdered hundreds of Ethiopian refugees, and Taliban murdered Afghans who sided with the USA

Christine Williams reports chilling news that Saudi Arabia's still not ready to be considered a country worth doing peace treaties with, based on sadistic violence their military committed against actual refugees in Yemen:

Globalist leaders swung open their countries’ doors to multitudes of economic Muslim migrants, causing violent crime to surge, adding strain to their economies and threatening their national security. Suicidal immigration policies have also led to a rise in antisemitism. Muslim countries, however, while infamous for screaming “Islamophobia” to keep infidels in line and prevent them from scrutinizing or insulting Islam, have been silent about a method employed by Saudi Arabia to stop genuine refugees from Ethiopia from entering the country. The Saudis are shooting them, “at close range and firing explosive weapons at groups.” Take note: this violence isn’t coming from al-Qaeda, the Islamic State and the like, but from Saudi Arabia, now exposed for looking a good deal more like Iran than many suspect in this era of its ‘modernizing’ crown prince.

“Saudi security forces have killed hundreds of Ethiopian migrants and asylum seekers attempting to cross the country’s border with Yemen.” And this isn’t new:

Ethiopian migrants and asylum seekers have been tortured, injured or killed by Saudi Arabian border guards at the Yemen-Saudi border. At least hundreds have been killed trying to make this crossing between March 2022 and June 2023.

A 14-year-old girl describes her bone-chilling experience:

We were fired on repeatedly. I saw people killed in a way I have never imagined. I saw 30 killed people on the spot. I pushed myself under a rock and slept there. I could feel people sleeping around me. I realized what I thought were people sleeping around me were actually dead bodies. I woke up and I was alone.

And yet, only Israel is considered a problem, as Williams reminds everyone. This is truly abominable, and if prince bin Salman's okay with this, then there's something to despise him for.

And since we're on the subject of brutal regimes, new reports reveal the Taliban murdered and tortured Afghan army personnel who'd sided with the USA:

The Taliban has killed hundreds of Afghan former military, security and government officials since the U.S.-backed government fell to the insurgents two years ago, the United Nations said in a report released Tuesday.

Taliban leader Amir al-Mu’minin verbally granted amnesty to Afghans who aided the U.S. and allied militaries in their 20-year war to stamp out Islamist insurgents, but instead have retaliated against former Army and security personnel, the investigation found. At least 200 were arbitrarily killed and hundreds more subjected to torture, disappearances and imprisonment outside of legal proceedings between Aug. 15, 2021 and June 30, 2023, the U.N.’s humanitarian arm in Afghanistan said.

A “climate of fear” exists among former government officials and members of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF), the U.N. Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) wrote in the report.

Though no government abroad's recognized the Taliban as legitimate, that still doesn't excuse their lack of opposition, something even the UN's failed to do. "Diplomacy" has only resulted in failure.

Biden made another 9-11 more possible

Jason Killmeyer warns that Joe Biden's disastrous conduct to date has made it entirely and tragically possible that one day, sooner or later, another September 11 could occur:

Some Presidents, faced with tough situations, put themselves in a mental bunker, sticking to their guns even though their thinking is divorced from the public’s. In his recent interview with ABC, Joe Biden entered that territory. He is matching a Nixonian level of denial with Jimmy Carter’s incompetency. He claimed it was “not true” that the Taliban would be ruling Afghanistan again (they already are) and conflated that group with “a guy named Osama Bin Laden” and al-Qaeda.

For many Americans, their first introduction to al-Qaeda was footage that aired on shows like Dateline and 60 Minutes in the late 1990s, showing masked men swinging on monkey bars. It all seemed a little ridiculous. At the time, their cave-dwelling leader Osama Bin Laden, his religious fervor, and even his threats against our nation were dismissed with paternalistic spin. That was just fine with him. While we weren’t looking, he sent some of his operatives to flight schools in Florida, San Diego, and Oklahoma. We all know what happened next.

This week, as President Biden ensures a total withdrawal from Afghanistan after nearly twenty years, we’re at risk of making the same mistake again. Not only does he seem dangerously out of touch with the situation on the ground, he has also gravely misjudged the long-term consequences of this panicked exit. While we may be done with fighting militant Islam in Afghanistan, militant Islam is not done with us. That’s as true today as it was on that September morning nineteen years and eleven months ago. And in that generational conflict, one thing remains stubbornly true: territory matters. As we leave Afghanistan, we allow a seizure of territory that may come back to haunt us in ways we’ll, come to regret.

For now, what Biden did has already ensured there's going to be a serious tragedy taking place sooner or later, in the USA and in other civilized countries, all because of the ostriches putting their heads in the sand and refusing to act responsibly on security matters. That's also a reason why Antifa and Black Lives Matter gained such a foothold over the years.

Biden's bunch harming Israeli-Arabian ties

Najat al-Saied wrote about Joe Biden's doing more harm than good to any positive connection Israel could have with Saudi Arabia:

In rewarding political Islamist ideologues, the enemies of peace and stability in the region, as well as simultaneously punishing America's allies, the Biden administration's recent decisions have sent dangerous signals.

For instance, on what basis did the Biden administration scramble to resume negotiations with Iran? What did the Iranian regime do for it to be rewarded with this kind of appeasement, while at the same time Biden's administration freezes weapons sales to America's allies, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, even though the latter has launched a historic peace process, the first "warm" peace with Israel in the region?

The Biden administration has also removed from the terrorism list Yemen's Houthi rebels, which is affiliated with Iran, while it keeps attacking Saudi Arabia over the Jamal Khashoggi case.

No one can deny that Khashoggi's assassination, which Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman himself described as a "heinous crime" and a "mistake" on the part of Saudi government agents, is indefensible. But the danger here is that this anti-Jewish political Islamist, a strong advocate of the Muslim Brotherhood who mourned the death of Osama bin Laden, is portrayed as some kind of virtuous idol and a proponent of democracy and freedom.

Khashoggi was never a genuine advocate of these or he would have called for this a long time ago, and he would never have held a government position, such as media advisor to Prince Turki Al-Faisal, the former director of Saudi intelligence. He only called for democracy and freedom after MBS came to power because he was against his reforms, chiefly the crown prince's battle with the Muslim Brotherhood and radical supporters of the religious institute, because he knew such reforms would put an end to political Islam not only in Saudi Arabia but across the region.

Khashoggi also attacked Saudi intellectuals who called for the normalization of relations with Israel. He also threatened the author of this article for pursuing peace with Israel, saying, "I wish you and people like you would shut up because you are the cause of the Arabs' and Palestinians' hatred of our country."

Well that was certainly disgusting Khashoggi would make such an attack. Now, because of the alarming way Biden's staff approach these middle eastern matters, relations between Israel and Arabia could be ruined when maintaining relations could actually be very helpful. Very sad.

Antisemitism and misogyny go hand in glove in the Islamic religion

In this op-ed on Israel National News, they explore the paralells and similarities antisemitism and misogyny have in the Islamic world:

As a Jewish American female journalist, I have noticed that in not a few instances, there appears to be a parallel between anti-Semitism and gender-based discrimination in our region of the world. It seems that many of the same Middle Eastern dictatorships that systematically promote anti-Semitic rhetoric often engage in misogynist behavior and systematically discriminate or display barbaric cruelty against women.

MEMRI recently reported that Yemenite political analyst Salim Al Muntaser stated that peace between Israel and the Western powers will only come about once “the Zionist entity is removed” and that Tel Aviv will be targeted by missiles “from Yemen.” Such rhetoric is not surprising, given that the Houthis govern most of Yemen now and they are known for their anti-Semitic ideology.

Yet at the same time, Yemen is one of the worst countries in which to be a woman. Yemeni women are forced to wear niqab, suffer from child marriages, domestic violence, honor crimes and a series of other indignities, which have only gotten worse since the Houthis rose to prominence during the Yemeni Civil War.

As one Yemeni woman told Amnesty International: “I was traveling with three children when we were stopped at a checkpoint by Houthi forces. They detained us, with no food and water during very hot weather. We begged them to let us pass but they refused. They insulted us and threatened us with rape. We panicked and started crying… when they were done with us, they left us on the street at night in a secluded and isolated area… We were afraid, and the children terrified.” Recently, the UN Security Council employed sanctions on top Yemeni Houthi officials for engaging in “intimidation, systematic arrests, detentions, torture, sexual violence and rape against politically active women.”

The same arguments that were made above regarding Yemen can also be made about the Islamic Republic of Iran. In recent days, the State of Israel blamed Iran for an oil spill off the coast of the Jewish state, which caused the greatest environmental disaster that the country has seen in recent years. Iran, a country that routinely chants “death to Israel,” also was reportedly behind an attack on an Israeli-owned ship in the Persian Gulf. They are also building nuclear weapons, which could be used against Israel at a future date.

Yet just as much as Iran attacks the Jewish state, they also harm the women in their country. In the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is illegal to execute virgins, so women on death row are systematically raped before they are slaughtered. Further, mandatory hijab is official state policy. In honor of International Women’s Day, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that the United States will grant a special Women of Courage Award to Shohreh Bayat, an Iranian female chess player who went into exile following her decision to violate her country’s dress code.

That still doesn't excuse the lenient approach fraudulent Joe Biden's taking to dealing with Iran, and it doesn't look like his phony administration will take any proper action against Yemen either. For now, this article does give some vital insight into how antisemites can also be some of the worst misogynists.

Lost Jewish properties in Arabic/Islamic countries amounts to $150 billion

New research reveals there's as much as $150 billion in Jewish property lost there, and it's a wrong that needs to be righted:

Lost Jewish property in Arab countries could amount to $150 billion, according to a government assessment obtained exclusively by Israel Hayom.

The property valuation pertains to assets left behind by Jews who were expelled or fled Arab nations and Iran in the late 1940s and 1950s. The review was two years in the making and its authors stressed that it is a conservative assessment that does not account for current inflation rates.

The report sheds light on a particularly tragic chapter in the history of Arab and Iranian Jewry and constitutes the first time that the government has compiled comprehensive data on this issue, whose historical, sociopolitical, and international political ramifications could be highly significant.

The project has been in the works since 2002 but it wasn't until 2017, when Social Equality Minister Gila Gamliel assumed the mantle, that serious progress was made in this investigation.

Gamliel teamed with the National Security Council, which cast a wide international net with the aim of estimating the scope of lost Jewish property in Arab nations.

The exact methods used to compile the report remain classified, but a rough breakdown of the figures shows lost Jewish property in Iran is worth some $31.3 billion. Assets in Libya, for example, were pegged at $6.7 billion, followed by Yemen proper ($2.6 billion), its temporary capital of Aden ($700 million), and Syria ($1.4 billion).

Gamliel is expected to present the findings to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the coming weeks.

"We may be able to begin righting a historical wrong, as part of which hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees who have lost their property could regain it, alongside their forgotten place in the historical narrative of the young state that emerged as they became refugees."

I think this is a challenging issue that should be brought up in the elections, though security is a far more important issue. For now, Gamliel's performed a most vital service, and should be thanked for it.

Israeli air defense on alert for possible attacks from Iran

Iran's proving, as always, to be a threat in terms of nuclear warfare and such:

Israel’s military has a multi-tiered network of integrated air defense systems “on alert” for any attack by Iran’s missiles, Israeli Air Force chief Amikam Norkin confirmed on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier this month Iran intends to attack Israel, and any attack which emanates from Yemen complicates the IDF’s response as its intermediate and long-range air defenses are better positioned to shoot down incoming attacks from Israel’s north, rather than from the south. [...]

Iran has never concealed its desire to wipe Israel off the map, as Breitbart News has reported.

The worst part is that despite all this, Benny Gantz still refuses to cooperate and form a unity government with the Likud. That's got to be the most disturbing part of this post-election deadlock.

Israel condemned at UN for alleged "violations" of women's rights by the real violators

The human rights violators at the UN put on another kangaroo court display, which Nikki Haley rightly condemned:

Former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley blasted a U.N. council on Thursday for singling out Israel for alleged violations of women’s rights.

The U.N. Economic and Social Council resolution was approved by a 40-2 margin, with nine abstentions. Among the countries voting in favor were Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Pakistan, all notorious for often misogynistic policies and denying basic rights to females.

“It amazes me how the U.N. condones votes like these,” Haley tweeted. “It is a total mockery of human rights to allow Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, and Yemen to name Israel as the world’s only violator of women’s rights.”

And much of the resolution wasn't even about women's rights. In any case, those Islamic regimes have no business whatsoever saying anything about Israel, so long as they stick to their repulsive policies and misogynist barbarism.

Saudi Arabia deserves to sanctioned regardless of whether they're guilty of murdering Kashoggi

The Saudi Arabian regime has wound up facing quite a worldwide condemnation following the vanishing and possible murder of a journalist who once worked for their autocratic government:

Saudi officials appear to be in a state of shock over the harsh international reaction to the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi almost two weeks ago.

Khashoggi was once a close adviser to the Saudi government but has become persona non grata since criticizing the human rights record of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) and his pursuit of the Yemen war, which has been a major humanitarian disaster. The excommunication was complete when Khashoggi exiled himself to the United States and began publishing his criticisms of MBS as a Washington Post reporter. Recently, he needed Saudi government papers in order to marry his fiancé, a Turkish citizen, Hatice (Khadija) Cengiz. He made two visits to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, and he completely disappeared during the second visit on October 2.

Turkey’s government has officially taken the position that it is still investigating, but numerous leaks to the Turkish media indicate a belief that Khashoggi was killed inside the consulate, and that his body was dismembered, packed up in suitcases, and taken back to Saudi Arabia in private Saudi planes. It is also believed that MBS ordered the killing and Turkism media are claiming that officials have audio recordings of Khashoggi being interrogated and killed in the embassy.

Many people are shocked by the apparent brutality of the alleged murder, but it seems that the biggest shock of all is that international outrage is continuing and may be growing. MBS has been ruthless in committing human rights abuses, arresting and imprisoning hundreds of people without trials. There have been numerous complaints that he decreed that women would be permitted to drive, but then he ordered the arrest of some of the women who did drive. And, of course, he has pursued the Yemen war mercilessly. He has done all this with impunity and little uproar. What is surprising is the uproar in this case.

I agree, it's amazing the Saudis have met up with such a big backlash. One they fully deserve in any event, due to the Saudi prince's human rights abuses, and also, most notably, that they enabled several of the terrorists who attacked the WTC on 9-11. It's a price long in coming that they should pay. And they're facing more repercussions in Congress:

Congressional pressure is mounting for a full rethink of U.S. relations with Saudi Arabia as evidence grows that the kingdom, a longtime American ally, was responsible for the disappearance of, and increasingly likely the death of, a Washington Post journalist.

President Trump has said he is trying to gather facts and has warned of consequences, but Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill are far ahead of him. They are promising to force votes on economic sanctions and on denying military assistance to the Saudi war effort in nearby Yemen.

Let's be clear: the Saudi Arabian Islamofascists deserve all sanctions they'll hopefully get, and the time's come, sooner or later, to start forcing them to abandon Islam and allow women freedom without being forced to wear niqabs and requiring a male guardian to go outdoors. They must also abandon violent and gory punishment over petty issues and such, and without a doubt, there's still much more they have to abandon and apologize for as well, including their anti-Israeli/semitic leanings.

And the world shouldn't rely on the Arabian oil supplies either, assuming they still have vast amounts. Far as I know, there's still significant amounts available around the American continent, so it'd be far better to take advantage of those than allow the Saudis to dominate the market. If they're guilty of murdering the journalist (though it's questionable the Turks have serious evidence), they must face consequences for their evil.

Friedman on 9-11 Memorial

During this year's 9-11 Memorial service, US ambassador David Friedman spoke in the above video interview about how Israel and the USA share the same tragedies and values. And he's absolutely correct. He deserves much credit for making some important points.

Roseanne Barr's revived sitcom succumbs to more leftist propaganda

When Roseanne Barr had her 1988-97 sitcom revived this past year, it was claimed it would be respectable to Trump values. But the following puts the lie to the notion it's even remotely favorable of conservative values, if they're going to parrot liberal blabbering points about negativity to Muslim immigrants, as though the Religion of Peace is the product of sainthood:

The latest episode of the hit ABC sitcom Roseanne blasts bigotry against Muslim immigrants and preached that they are usually like everyone else; just regular folks trying to get by in difficult times.

In the May 8 episode entitled “Meet the Neighbors,” the Connor matriarch (Barr) and sister Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) become suspicious of the new Muslim family from Yemen that has moved next door to the Connors in their fictional Chicago suburb of Lanford, Illinois.

If memory serves, the Simpsons had a similar tale several years ago, and that was just as repellent. The story in Roseanne gets even more irritating:

Raising their fears to a fever pitch, Roseanne worries that the unusual amount of fertilizer piled up outside the neighbors’ home may be the makings of a terrorist bomb. But, as the episode continues, Roseanne is forced to go hat-in-hand to the neighbors to ask if she might use their WiFi so that her granddaughter can speak to her mother. The granddaughter’s mother is a U.S. soldier serving in Afghanistan and can only be reached at 2 AM U.S. time.

Roseanne’s own ignorance of Muslims becomes the butt of the joke when at the early morning hour she and Jackie knock on the neighbors’ door to beg to use the WiFi. The Connor sisters and their new Muslim neighbors, Samir and Fatima, proceed to trade barbs about how “scared” they are of each other. Roseanne is even shocked that the couple’s little boy is sleeping in a bulletproof vest because they have withstood some intense bigotry from other neighbors and he was frightened to sleep without the vest.

The family also explains the mound of fertilizer. It was delivered because, as Fatima groused, Samir doesn’t seem to understand that every time you click on Amazon, you are ordering another bag!

[...] As the episode wraps up, Roseanne, now much more comfortable with Fatima, bumps into her new neighbor at the local grocery store where Fatima is embarrassed that she doesn’t have enough funds on her EBT card to buy groceries. Roseanne then graciously lends her own EBT card to help her neighbor finish the purchase. The star also slams a snotty grocery clerk who made a series of bigoted remarks as Fatima tried to pay for her items.

“You know that saying, ‘See something, say something?’ Well I saw something, and I’m gonna say something to your manager,” Roseanne said to the clerk. “You’re ignorant. That woman is twice the person you’ll ever be, and she’s dealing with a lot of stuff that you don’t even know about. So next time she comes into the store, you keep your mouth shut. She has enough fertilizer to turn this place into a smoking hole in the ground.”

Now I know, more than ever before, why I want nothing to do with Barr's sitcom ever again. Mainly because she's the ignoramus she wants the store clerk to look like. This is just as disgusting as anything the original run had to barf up, and a far cry from the pro-Trump product she was telling everybody it supposedly was. Sorry, I don't buy after reading what this is like, and it only discourages me from bothering about the sitcom genre as a whole ever again.
