Will ICE deport a Muslim monster in Rochester back to Afghanistan? They must

Daniel Greenfield wrote about the disturbing case of an Afghan "refugee" who tried to commit an honor murder in the late 2000s:

The trouble began when Allah and Mohammed (full name: Waheed Allah Mohammad) stabbed his sister. His sister was looking to move to New York City and was waiting on a ride. Allah decided that she wasn’t a good Muslim girl, got a knife from his car and started stabbing her.

Later, the Afghan refugee named after both of his religion’s holy figures explained to the local cops in Monroe County that his sister was a “bad Muslim girl” who had disgraced the family by wearing immodest clothes (potentially anything short of a burka) and going to clubs.

So what was an Afghan named Allah to do?

By then it was the second case in Monroe County (named after the fifth president, who’d never had to worry about Afghans stabbing their sisters near Lake Ontario) where refugee resettlement had taken its toll and Afghans were dumped in the county over the last twenty years. It’s gotten bad enough that the New York State’s Office of Mental Health has an ‘Afghan Refugee Health Program’, but can’t help a man who wants to stab his sister for Allah.

By then, Monroe County cops had been getting used to that sort of thing after Ismail Peltek, a Turkish Muslim, went after his wife and two daughters with a hammer and a knife because his brother had raped them. He beat his wife over the head with a hammer and stabbed her to death, he fractured the skulls of his wife and daughters, and even attacked his 4-year-old daughter because a doctor gave her a gynecological exam in case she had been molested.

“I was concerned that my family’s honor was taken,” Ismail explained to the cops.

“If you had the opportunity to kill the family again, would you?” he was asked.

“My female family, yes. My male family, no,” the Muslim immigrant explained.

Incapable of processing behavior that is entirely routine in the Muslim world, the authorities decided that Ismail must be crazy because surely no culture or religion could act this way.

A year before Allah went after his sister with a knife in the name of his family honor, the court allowed Ismail to plead not guilty by reason of insanity and be institutionalized until he is no longer a danger to any female family members or anyone else. No word on his whereabouts.

“Unless you have experienced my culture firsthand, you would have no way of comprehending why my brother did what he did,” Allah’s sister had explained to the court.

Allah got ten years, served eight of them, got out, opened a Halal place and now ICE wants him out. The media is however providing Allah with lots of sympathetic coverage.

“This criminal illegal alien tried to kill his own sister,” ICE Director Todd Lyons said. “We’re conducting targeted enforcement operations to arrest and remove convicted criminals like Mohammad who pose clear threats to their families, communities and states.”

If any legal defense systems are trying to block either criminal's deportation, that's abominable. Yet at this point, surely not unexpected in New York, seeing where they've been going lately.

I also noticed that a few months ago, when Mohammed was arrested by ICE, ABC News13 seemed to be trying to downplay the seriousness of the incident by making it sound like the sister literally forgave him:

A court transcript from 2009 showed Mohammad's sister addressed the court and forgave him prior to his sentencing.

Mohammad's sister said in court that she was not justifying what Mohammad did but said, "unless you gave experienced my culture first hand, you would have no way of comprehending why my brother did what he did."

She also said in court, "he did not take my life and I do not wish to take his away. I do not believe he will attempt to harm me or anyone else again."

Assuming this is what she said, it's regrettable she had to say anything that could provide him with a weapon to use against anyone opposed to his MO who feels he should be banished from the USA. I don't know what her position is on him now, and I hope she's safely out of his reach. But it's a shame whenever a survivor of such a heinous attack has to weaken the case against the perpetrator, and no matter what was told, this Mohammed must be deported from the USA back to Afghanistan, period.

And if the ABC affiliate fabricated any of the above, that's offensive in the extreme, and entirely disrespectful of the victims of honor murder assaults.

Democrats may replace Eric Swalwell with first Muslim Congresswoman in California

Recently, the California Democrat Eric Swalwell was forced to resign over sexual assault accusations. But now, one can wonder if all this was planned as an excuse to elect a Muslim Congresswoman instead, specifically of Afghan background:

Aisha Wahab, an Afghan Muslim, appears to have the inside track and is holding the process ‘hostage’.

Five Democratic candidates running in the regularly-scheduled primary to succeed Swalwell for a full term have pledged they would not also run in the June 16 special election. Their hope is that rallying around a single candidate would ensure that person wins an outright majority in the primary and could be quickly sworn in.

But one Democratic contender, state Sen. Aisha Wahab, has not signed on, according to two people familiar with the document and granted anonymity to describe it. Having two or more Democrats on the ballot in the reliably blue district would all but guarantee the need for a run-off in mid-August, and the winner would not be seated until Congress returned from its August recess.

Wahab, who is also running for a full term, didn’t immediately respond to a text message seeking comment. She’s endorsed by institutional players including the California Democratic Party, Wieckowski and members of the state’s congressional delegation — Reps. Robert Garcia, Kevin Mullin and Lateefah Simon — but the large crop of Democratic contenders is nevertheless expected to dilute the vote.

The California Democratic Party would be a rather major ‘institutional player’ indeed.

State Sen. Aisha Wahab’s gender politics though make Swalwell look like a feminist.

Sen. Aisha Wahab, the first Afghan or Muslim senator, who had joined with her political allies to amend Senate Bill 1414 to protect those soliciting 16-year-olds for sex. Worse still, the process weakened the punishment for child predators.

What's chilling is that she's willing to enable child endangerment, which makes her worse in some ways than Swalwell. She's the kind of disgrace that Phyllis Chesler's spoken about in the past. And now, the Democrat party's taking steps to practically replace a considerable number of regular members with those of Muslim backgrounds. That's a telling clue to where they're going in the future.

Federalist contributors continue their ambiguous view of how to conduct a war against evil entities

So now the Federalist writer/editor Hayden Daniel's the next contributor to the site to make an unclear argument on how the USA should conduct a war in areas like Iran and other parts of the middle east. He's no better than the aforementioned editor, mainly because he slurs Mark Levin as a "neocon", more on which anon. There may be, oddly enough, some valid points made about Ronald Reagan here, but the op-ed still falters badly:

But, for now, the economically vital Strait of Hormuz remains shut, and over the past few weeks, the U.S. has transferred thousands of ground troops to the region. Given the administration’s shifting goalposts and unclear messaging over the last few weeks, escalation is still not outside the realm of possibility. And any further escalation of the conflict would probably mean boots on the ground.

And that's unacceptable to Mr. Daniel, right? Seriously, why should we buy the notion he even wants to defend his own country's borders then? After all, rounding up violent illegal immigrants is tough too, and there are serious dangers involved. If we don't have the courage to defeat tyrants and demand they stop using Islam as an educational tool, then how will we be able to do anything about it back on home turf? Already, there's disturbing signs of some individual states selling out to the Religion of Peace, the aforementioned Utah included, and Daniel's not making any improvement when it comes to the troubles with dhimmitude.

But after decades of costly, ultimately futile wars in the same part of the globe, the prospect of another ground conflict in the region is deeply unpopular with most Americans. Such a move, if taken, would almost certainly tank President Donald Trump’s already wavering approval rating, sink Republican prospects for the midterms and even 2028, and mar his legacy with a long Middle East war he promised to avoid.

And that's solely Trump's fault, not that of the jihadists, huh? Mr. Daniel's just as appalling as his fellow editor John Daniel Davidson, and whatever merit the Federalist had when they first began about a dozen years ago has evaporated since. As for the issue of Levin, while there's obviously cause for disagreement, what Daniel says next is bizarre:

In light of that, our other options are to continue the air and naval war alone without a ground element, or, as some have suggested, to begin arming the Iranian people (or other groups like the Kurds and Azerbaijanis) so they can overthrow the regime themselves. Even if the U.S. stops its direct military actions against Iran in the coming weeks as Trump suggested, the administration could still arm and train Iranians to destabilize the regime from the inside.

Reagan admin veteran (as if he’d ever let you forget it) and neocon political commentator Mark Levin emphatically endorsed the latter option Tuesday.

Wow, this is the 2nd time somebody at the Federalist makes the claim Levin's a "neocon", even though his record shows he's anything but that, no matter his flaws. I just don't know what they expect to accomplish from such an all-too-easy putdown. That said, here's what they seemingly dissent with him about:

“ARM THE IRANIAN PEOPLE IMMEDIATELY!” he posted on X. “I’ve been calling for this for weeks on radio. One thing we can do, which Reagan did in Afghanistan, Angola, and Nicaragua, is ARM THE PEOPLE in Iran so they are no longer butchered by these monsters without the ability to fight back! They will rise up as a real fighting force, but they need weapons! And it must be done IMMEDIATELY, especially if we are talking about ending our military operation in a few weeks!”

In 2015, the Pentagon set out to train up to 15,000 rebels to help take on ISIS and topple Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. Five hundred million dollars later, we had only managed to train a few dozen men, and those who actually made it to the battlefield were quickly killed, captured, or fled. Some of them even surrendered their equipment over to terrorists in return for safe passage out of the country. A separate CIA effort to train rebels also met a dismal end and was thankfully cancelled by Trump in his first term.

Meanwhile, the Iraqis and Afghans we spent untold resources and man-hours on training to defend their own homelands cut and ran at the first sight of major combat against ISIS and the Taliban, respectively. Their cowardice left mountains of U.S.-provided equipment in the hands of terrorists, who subsequently distributed them to other militant groups.

In all this argument, it's missing a vital point: nobody tried to persuade the Afghans or Syrians to stop practicing Islam. If they don't have the courage to make the point, then why do they think these missions were a failure overall? Have they also forgotten their 2021 reports on how Dubya's administration did nothing at the time to stop sexual violence against children in Afghanistan? Let's be clear: if there's no courage in the press to confront bad ideologies in any shape or form, then no wonder even a government/military won't do anything about it in turn.

“But that was during the incompetent Bush 43 and Obama years. Reagan knew how to do it right!” Levin might respond. But, as it turns out, the exact three examples Levin cited also turned into fiascos for the United States.

The Reagan administration provided support to the anti-communist militant group UNITA against the communist MPLA during the Angolan Civil War. From the mid-80s to early-90s, the U.S. provided tens of millions of dollars in aid to UNITA, including state-of-the-art Stinger missiles, in an attempt to curtail Soviet and Cuban influence in Angola. This aid turned out to be for naught, as the MPLA eventually won the civil war. The MPLA, though it has shed some of its communist tenets, still rules Angola to this day. In recent years, Angola has cozied up to China, negotiating lucrative deals for its substantial oil and mineral reserves.

Levin, in an extremely puzzling move, cited Nicaragua as a positive example of the United States supporting rebels against a hostile regime. The Reagan administration helped fund the Contras, anti-communist guerrillas who opposed the Marxist Sandinista movement, which had just taken control of the government of Nicaragua. The catch came with how the U.S. was funding the Contras. In 1984, Congress had passed legislation cutting off aid to the Contras, but the Reagan administration was still determined to prop up the rebels.

So, the Reagan administration raised funds to funnel to the Contras by selling weapons to … Iran. The U.S. government sold tens of millions of dollars worth of weapons to the same Iranian regime we’re currently at war with and then used proceeds from those sales to fund rebel bands in Nicaragua.

The resulting Iran-Contra affair was a massive scandal during the Reagan era. And, much like in Angola, it didn’t change much. The Sandinistas negotiated peace with the Contras in 1990, and free elections saw the ousting of the Sandinistas from power. However, the party returned to power in 2006 and has ruled the country ever since.

While this is disturbing, and makes for a valid argument about why Levin's approaching this from a naive viewpoint that overlooks infuriarating details, including how the USA government naively made use of Islamofascists to fight against the USSR, Daniel still doesn't sound altruistic, and that's the problem, which continues here:

As we’ve seen, the strategy of arming the locals can be simply ineffective or can spiral into era-defining disaster. Providing guns and training to the Iranian people so that they can take on the regime themselves *might* work, but the best you’re going to get out of that is a long civil war and an uncertain future. But the potential second-and third-order consequences, especially involving a state with over 90 million people and access to the building blocks of a nuclear weapon, are too great to risk it.

If this is implying the USA military shouldn't track down and secure any nuclear materials still around, then what's the point of this article? Wars aren't won by leaving dangerous tools lying around that barbarians could one day make use of again if given even remotely the chance. Yet Daniel seems disinterested in demanding something be done to ensure they won't be given one. And if Daniel's not interested in finishing the job to prevent the enemies from having access to any kind of nuclear research, then his blabber is pointless. There are valid reasons to disagree with Levin about Nicuragua, but if Daniel doesn't think even the USA military should do the job itself, then he's perpetuated the same defeatist stealth tactics his fellow writers at the Federalist seem to be advocating now. Granted, they do make a point Reagan wasn't the genius some claim he was, but since they don't raise any alternatives that could be better, their argument still falls flat.

The Federalist staff aren't the only ones who're trying to damage morale. There's also podcaster Joe Rogan, and comedian Theo Von:

Podcasters Joe Rogan and Theo Von, who both hosted President Trump during the 2024 election, have strongly criticized military action in Iran.

[...] Both Rogan and Von seemed to reject the tactics made to “stop the terrorists.”

“Supposedly, they’re trying to stop the terrorists,” Rogan said.

“That’s crazy though if you’re the fucking terrorist,” Von laughed. “You know what I’m saying? Like, if you want to stop them, fucking stand in front of the fucking mirror. Just start there.”

The interview with Theo Von comes days after Rogan said “nobody thinks it’s a good idea” for the U.S. to engage in a military conflict in Iran.

Nobody needs somebody like Rogan to comment on the news, that's for sure. He wore out his welcome pretty fast, as did the Federalist as a news site. Von sounds just as bad. And these sites are all examples of how uncreative minds are ruining the right, assuming they really do represent it. If anything, they're just embarrassments to the cause, and it'd be best to avoid them. If commentators like these had been running the store during WW2, it never would've been won.

Update: now, Brianna Lyman offers an improved view of the rescue of 2 USAF officials from behind enemy lines, suggesting the site's editors realized they were making themselves look bad with their own shoddy stealth anti-war propaganda:

Americans can and will continue to debate the war in Iran. But what is not debatable is the competence on display of our military and its leaders during Saturday’s rescue mission. This rescue mission stands as a stark indictment of the generation of top brass who preceded it — the same admirals and generals who spent decades losing wars and abandoning Americans in times of need — all the while retaining their Washington, D.C. accolades.

Well isn't that how to win a war against tyranny? If Reagan had shown even a fraction of that competence, Iran wouldn't have reached the dangerous levels it did in over 40 years. Maybe now, somebody will start calling for more improved leadership, something Europe's going to need very badly now.

Taliban approves domestic violence and abuse against women and children

The terrorist organization that the Biden administration allowed to retake control of Afghanistan 5 years ago is now making it legal to commit violence against women and children:

Taliban “supreme leader” Hibatullah Akhundzada recently approved a novel criminal code, multiple outlets reported this week, that dramatically expands the legal ability for men to physically abuse women and children and provides for the creation of a formal “slave” class in the country.

The Taliban is a radical Islamist terror organization that currently operates as the uncontested government of Afghanistan. The Taliban returned to power on August 15, 2021, following former President Joe Biden’s decision to extend the 20-year-old Afghan War beyond the deadline of May 15 of that year that President Donald Trump had previously agreed to. The Taliban’s return to power prompted a chaotic mass exodus of Afghans fleeing the nation’s persecution and the imposition of restrictive sharia policies that have stripped Afghan women and girls of nearly all their rights as citizens.

According to the Times of India, the latest affront to human rights from the Taliban is the publication of a 90-page criminal code, issued as an edict recently, likely in late January. No evidence suggests any public participation in the drafting of the code or legislative debate by certified lawmakers prior to its imposition.

Citing the British outlet The Independent, the Indian newspaper noted that the code includes the creation of “free” and “slave” categories of Afghanis and different legal punishments for criminals in each category. While it does not explicitly list all women in the country as “slaves,” certain provisions in the criminal code for women appear to treat them as separate from free citizens.

It goes without saying this is abominable, and it's a wrong that the Trump administration should do whatever possible to correct. Naturally, the vital query is whether the USA public, especially Republicans, will be willing to do a good deed, and most importantly, do they want Islam to be abolished in Afghanistan?

ICE arrests Afghan monster in New York who tried to commit honor murder of his sister

In an arrest involving an incident I'd read about in the past decade or so, ICE took custody an Afghan jihadist who tried to honor murder his sister in Rochester:

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested an Afghan immigrant who attempted to murder his sister nearly a decade ago for being a “bad Muslim girl.”

On January 1, ICE agents in Rochester, New York, arrested 39-year-old Waheed Allah Mohammad, who legally immigrated to the United States from Afghanistan in May 2004.

According to his conviction for attempted murder, in 2008, Mohammad tried to murder his then 19-year-old sister, whom he considered a “bad Muslim girl” for dressing immodestly and going to nightclubs, by repeatedly stabbing her.

The following year, Mohammad was convicted of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault and sentenced to 10 years in a New York prison as well as five years of supervised release.

However, he was placed on a deportation listing, and now, he'll hopefully be thrown out. It's to be hoped his sister is okay, and will now find a much safer life as a non-Muslim. Also notice that the Afghan monster "immigrated" during the Bush administration, and that's certainly telling as well.

Dubya once again lets know where he actually stands on the issue of Islamofascists from Afghanistan

Following the tragic murder of a National Guardswoman in the District of Columbia by an Afghan interloper, the George W. Bush Institute took the side of the enemy, unshockingly:

Following the fatal shooting of one National Guard member and the injury of another in Washington, DC, the George W. Bush Institute is urging against broadly targeting Afghan immigration applicants in response to the actions of a single individual.

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a 29-year-old Afghan national who previously worked with a CIA-backed partner force in Kandahar and entered the U.S. in 2021 through the Biden administration’s Operation Allies Welcome, has been arraigned and is facing charges in the Thanksgiving-week ambush-style shooting that left 20-year-old Spc. Sarah Beckstrom dead and critically injured 24-year-old Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe.

Following the attack, U.S. immigration authorities announced an immediate and indefinite pause on immigration processing for Afghan nationals and launched a broad reexamination of immigration, asylum, and green card applications from 19 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, Venezuela, Sudan, Haiti, Cuba, and Laos.

In response, the George W. Bush Institute posted on X: “The actions of a man charged with a heinous crime have derailed the lawful U.S. immigration applications of people from 18 countries so far, including Afghanistan. Afghans are facing uncertainty at home and in the U.S.

This should come as no surprise to anyone who was aware of how Dubya really went about business back in the day, and he later offended people after the Biden retreat from Afghanistan that's since left the country a moral/physical ruin and dangerous for women. Dubya also played a part in bringing Israel to where it's at today on the subject of Gaza and Hamas. And Dubya didn't support Trump either.

What is clear is that all conservatives who're realists must distance themselves from Dubya, not contribute to his institution, oppose any further visits he might make to GOP conventions and basically disown him. He's a prime example of a "conservative" who only did more harm than good to the USA, and is now sadly doing what he can to undermine the USA's ability to defend itself properly from Islamofascism.

Zohran Mamdani obscured what led to murder of National Guardswoman

NYC's first Muslim mayor Mamdani, unsurprisingly, would not be clear about how the Religion of Peace played a part in the murder of a National Guardswoman by an illegal immigrant from Afghanistan in the District of Columbia:

New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani is facing a torrent of condemnation over his public statement addressing the murder of West Virginia National Guard Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, who succumbed to her injuries after being shot, allegedly by Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national admitted under President Joe Biden’s ‘Operation Allies Welcome’ program.

In a post on X, Mamdani wrote, “I’m devastated to learn of the passing of Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, a member of the West Virginia National Guard. She was only twenty years old. As families across the nation come together today to celebrate Thanksgiving, let us take a moment to think of those in West Virginia who have been plunged into unimaginable grief.”

Nowhere in the statement did Mamdani mention that Beckstrom was shot, allegedly by an Afghan migrant who was accused of shouting “Allahu Akbar” before opening fire on her and 24-year-old Andrew Wolfe near the White House. Beckstrom died Thursday evening from injuries sustained in the attack. The suspect, 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, is in the hospital under heavy guard and may face the death penalty, according to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. [...]

Despite the severity of the attack, the United Nations issued a post on social media hours later reaffirming that seeking asylum is a “human right,” without acknowledging the victims or the shooting in D.C. Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board urged against “collective punishment,” cautioning that Afghan refugees “shouldn’t be blamed for the violent act of one man,” even as they acknowledged the Biden administration’s chaotic withdrawal may have undermined proper vetting procedures.

These latest remarks aren’t the first time Mamdani has drawn widespread rebuke for his statements. On October 7, 2025 — the second anniversary of the Hamas massacre of over 1,100 Israelis — Mamdani issued a statement that accused Israel of launching a “genocidal war.” His post condemned the United States for its alliance with Israel and labeled the Jewish state’s military response “war crimes.” Elected officials, Israeli diplomats, Jewish religious leaders, and conservative media figures called his remarks antisemitic and accused him of serving as a “mouthpiece for Hamas propaganda.”

And the WSJ has clearly proven they've lost all common sense to boot. This is disgusting, also because the UN is erasing the victims no matter what they say, and Mamdani is once again proving the bad omen he'll doubtless be when he assumes office of mayor. He owes the woman's family a huge apology, and tragically, it's unlikely he ever will say he's sorry.

Afghan illegal immigrant in District of Columbia murdered 2 National Guard soldiers while yelling "Allahu Akbar"

Another tragedy just as horrible as the Charlie Kirk murder a few months ago took place in Washington D.C, and the worst part here is that this time, it was a jihadist who committed the crime, and a result of Joe Biden's lenient policies that enabled entry of unvetted inhabitants of Afghanistan into the USA:

The alleged attacker who shot two National Guard members in Washington, DC, on Wednesday reportedly yelled, “Allahu Akbar” at some point during the attack, according to Julio Rosas.

FOX News correspondent Brooke Taylor noted, “Law enforcement sources tell me the shooter who shot 2 National Guard members in D.C. is an illegal migrant from Afghan who came in during Operation Allies Welcome, under Biden administration and overstayed that visa.”

The suspect allegedly began his attack with a revolver, and he then used a firearm he was able to take from a female Guard member.

Absolutely abominable, and the monster should receive the death sentence for his repulsive crime. What's additionally disturbing is that the jihadist actually worked with USA forces in Afghanistan years ago:

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the 29-year-old Afghan national suspected of shooting two National Guardsmen in Washington, DC, worked with the CIA as a member of a partner force in Kandahar, Afghanistan, the agency’s director John Ratcliffe revealed Wednesday night.

Ratcliffe told Fox News Digital of the link, saying the suspect was a “member of a partner force in Kandahar, which ended shortly following the chaotic evacuation.”

Kandahar in southern Afghanistan is in the Taliban heartland of the country. It saw fierce fighting between the Taliban and NATO forces after U.S.-led forces arrived in 2001 following the al-Qaida terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.

“The Biden administration justified bringing the alleged shooter to the United States in September 2021 due to his prior work with the U.S. government, including CIA,” Ratcliffe outlined.

He lamented Lakanwal “and so many others—should have never been allowed to come here,” as he added: “God bless our brave troops.”

The USA government has stopped all immigration/asylum requests from Afghanistan following the terrorist attack, and predictably, there's leftists and Islamists who're protesting the decision:

Afghan migrants are protesting President Donald Trump’s decision to block the entry of all escaping Afghanistan nationals after one shot National Guard members in D.C. while reportedly shouting “Allah Akbar,” or “Allah is Supreme.” [...]

The progressives’ insistence that potential Afghan migrants be reviewed by progressive-managed, courtroom-style reviews disregards the reality of the migrants’ home culture. Nearly all Afghans are Muslims, and Islam’s many commandments direct adherents to hate what the Koran hates and to fight non-Muslims.

It is absolutely disgusting, but not surprising, that no leftists like these will change their ways after such a horrible tragedy. But this is precisely why something must be done to put a stop to Islam's advances in the west, and even in the east. This is one of many modern tragedies that confirms the danger has long been in our midst, and cannot be allowed to spread anymore.

Update: the National Guardswoman who was shot by the jihadist has sadly died of her injuries. Condolences to her family.

Islamic jihadism cannot be allowed to remain in the mainstream

Daniel Greenfield's got a vital point that Islamic terrorism cannot be mainstream, and what the precise historical mistakes were that enabled it to occur:

In 2025, Hamas and Hezbollah flags became regular sights on Ivy League college campuses, a Muslim immigrant who embraced an unindicted coconspirator in bombing plots in New York City became its mayor, presidential envoys chatted with Hamas and an Al Qaeda leader who used to have a $10 million reward on his head visited the White House and met with the president.

The mainstreaming of Islamic terrorism didn’t happen overnight. A decade ago, the Obama administration backed the Al Qaeda militias that would eventually go on to take over Syria and first forced Israel to negotiate with Hamas after the kidnapping and murder of three teens.

What went on under the cover of plausible deniability a decade ago, where our government pretended we were backing the Free Syrian Army, a ‘democratic’ and ‘secular’ movement, (which critics like me pointed out was just Al-Qaeda in drag), or where our negotiators did not directly meet with Hamas, where anti-Israel campus groups claimed that they supported BDS rather than mass murder, and Muslim politicians denied they were terrorists, is out in the open.

How we got here was inevitable once American leaders responded to 9/11 by trying to draw distinctions between good Islamization and bad Islamization, between moderates and extremists, between good terrorists and bad terrorists in the hopes of dividing our enemies.

The false ‘moderates’ and ‘extremists’ paradigm, which no Muslim leader or movement ever actually accepted, didn’t divide up Islamic terrorists, it mainstreamed them. We lost the ability to draw lines and with it any larger sense of who we were, who they were and what we had set out to accomplish by fighting them until all we wanted to do was find someone to surrender to.

What the Dubya administration set in motion is precisely what enabled Democrat politicians to drive the car wreck to where we are now. It will not help at all. On the subject of the embarrassment with Syria's new despot, Ahmed al-Sharaa, Daniel N. Hoffman also notes:

Among other things, the CIA is tracking the Hamas insurgency in the Gaza Strip; Russia’s war on Ukraine; China’s ubiquitous espionage, nuclear buildup and threats against Taiwan; North Korea’s growing supply of weapons of mass destruction; Iran’s ballistic missile production, nuclear program and material support to proxy terrorists; and narcotics trafficking in the Caribbean and from Mexico.

By far the national security threat with the shortest fuse, which we must detect and preempt with the greatest alacrity, continues to be terrorism.

The U.S. military and intelligence community have a presence in the Middle East and an impressive record of finding, fixing and finishing terrorist threats, often in coordination with our regional allies. Yet Afghanistan, a failed terrorist state full of ungoverned space and sanctuary for the Islamic State group and al Qaeda terrorists plotting against us, presents an altogether greater challenge.

When I served as a station chief in a South Asian war zone, my CIA colleagues and I held repeated and sometimes heated conversations with Pakistani government officials over Pakistan’s material support to the Afghan Taliban, with which we were at war, and the Haqqani network, which the U.S. had designated a terrorist organization. Even after the Pakistani Taliban, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, launched a barbaric terrorist attack on the Peshawar school in 2014, killing 132 children, the Pakistani government persisted in its doomed strategy. The Afghan Taliban, of course, eagerly welcomed Pakistan’s assistance and provision of sanctuary space inside Pakistan, which severely complicated and restricted the government of Afghanistan’s counterinsurgency strategy.

The Afghan Taliban is now providing sanctuary to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, which has a long history of conducting terrorist attacks and suicide bombings against Pakistani government officials, civilians and the military. From base camps in Afghanistan, TTP conducts operational training and plans terrorist attacks against Pakistan with impunity.

[...] Dealing with the terrorist threat in Afghanistan is now squarely on the shoulders of President Trump. The Americans who voted for him expected his administration to chart a new course to ensure our country’s safety and security. Afghanistan, to paraphrase former CIA Director George Tenet’s pre-9/11 warnings, is “blinking red.”

[...] The Trump administration, especially our military and intelligence community, should be clear with the American people and congressional oversight about the threat picture in Afghanistan, especially the growing external operations capabilities of al Qaeda and the Islamic State group. The administration should have a strategy to take the fight to the enemy, preferably with as small a U.S. military footprint as possible.

Well so long as excuses are made for the Religion of Peace continuing to be used as a "learning" tool, that's why it will not be enough to simply take the fight to enemy. They have to make clear raising their subjects on Islam cannot continue, and that different religions with better values must be accepted as replacements instead. But so far, it doesn't look like the Trump administration will do that, and it's regrettable.

UN secretary general talks big, but does little to nothing

The awful UN's secretary general supposedly condemned the Taliban's oppressive treatment of women, which they ostensibly expressed outrage about:

The Taliban junta in Afghanistan on Thursday condemned U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for denouncing its brutal treatment of women, claiming Guterres lacks the required credentials in Islamic sharia law to comment on the Taliban’s conduct.

Guterres was holding a press conference in New York City on Tuesday when Afghan International journalist Maryam Rahmati asked him to comment about “Afghan women and girls, who remain erased from public life under the Taliban.”

“What concrete steps will the UN take to hold the Taliban accountable for systemic gender apartheid?” she asked.

Rahmati was not engaging in hyperbole – the Taliban literally banned women from public speaking in August 2024, along with a raft of other oppressive restrictions on the behavior of women.

Before that, in December 2022, the Taliban banned women from working for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as humanitarian aid groups.

The U.N. World Health Organization (W.H.O.) pleaded with the Taliban to lift this ban for female relief workers after a devastating earthquake struck Afghanistan in early September, especially after women were left buried under earthquake rubble because male rescue workers were not allowed to touch them. The Taliban refused to lift the ban.

“Well, what’s happening in Afghanistan is absolutely intolerable. And it’s not only intolerable, it’s also stupid,” Guterres replied to Rahmati on Tuesday.

Guterres said refusing to allow women and girls in humanitarian aid efforts was “terribly detrimental to the whole population of Afghanistan.”

Unfortunately, based on where the UN's been going on the subject of Islamofascists in Gaza, Guterres' protests are unconvincing. He obviously won't support military action to bring down the Taliban again, nor any steps to make sure the terrorist organization is obliterated, and such offensive hand-wringing continues to make women living under sharia in Afghanistan pay a heavy price. If Afghanistan remains permitted to be a member of the UN, that's another problem that says virtually all one need know.

Senior UN officials funded the Taliban

A new report reveals leading officials at the corrupt UN were collaborating with the Taliban:

Senior United Nations (UN) officials helped the Taliban extract kickbacks from UN contractors bankrolled by U.S. tax dollars, a new report from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) alleged Wednesday.

UN officials allegedly worked with the Taliban to bribe and extort UN contractors supplying aid to Afghanistan in exchange for lucrative, often billion-dollar aid contracts, numerous anonymous sources told SIGAR in interviews. Of the $10.72 billion in total aid given to Afghanistan between 2021 and the State Department cancelling most of the funds in 2025, $3.83 billion came from the U.S.

It sounds like it could even have connections with the oil-for-food scandal of 2 decades ago. Once again, the UN's been exposed as the atrocious movement they truly are, and they wasted tons of tax money on the Taliban, as if things couldn't get bad enough.

ICC issues arrest warrants for Taliban leaders

For a change, the ICC is doing something proper, publishing arrest warrants for leaders of the jihadists in Afghanistan:

The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued two arrest warrants for the “supreme leader” of the Taliban, Hibatullah Akhundzada, and the terrorists’ top judge Abdul Hakim Haqqani on Tuesday in response to the Taliban’s systematic abuse and repression of women and girls, which the court deemed a crime against humanity.

The Taliban has ruled as the uncontested government of Afghanistan since August 15, 2021, when its jihadists stormed the capital of Kabul and sent then-President Ashraf Ghani fleeing. The Taliban takeover followed a decision by then-President Joe Biden to violate an agreement brokered by predecessor Donald Trump that would have seen U.S. forces withdraw from the country on May 1 of that year; the violation prompted the Taliban to launch a wave of tens of thousands of attacks on the U.S.-backed government that resulted in the collapse of the nation’s armed forces and the fall of Kabul.

The Taliban regime has prioritized erasing women and girls from society, banning them from leaving their homes as soon as they took over and increasingly stripping them of rights, including the rights to education, freedom of movement, free expression, and even Islamic prayer. Afghan women have consistently defied Taliban terrorists by staging protests nationwide, but the ruling regime has responded by increasingly restricting the right of girls and women to simply exist.

The United Nations estimated in August that at least 1.4 million girls had lost access to secondary education since the Taliban took over in 2021. Human rights groups documented a significant spike in femicide, defined as “intentional killing with a gender-related motivation,” since the Taliban seized power.

Of course, this still doesn't excuse that the ICC previously tried to pursue Israeli leaders for defending the country against the same Islamofascist monsters, and for that, the ICC owes an apology. For now, the charges leveled against the Taliban are entirely justified in this case, and the erasure of women they're conducting is absolutely repulsive. Yet there's no chance the ICC will ever acknowledge the Religion of Peace is the foremost problem that resulted in this human rights fiasco.

Russia gives Afghanistan its backing

Russia's government continues to demonstrate how evil their neo-communism truly is by recognizing the Taliban's dictatorship over Afghanistan:

The Russian Federation has made history by becoming the first nation to formally recognize the Taliban's authority in Afghanistan, with Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi describing Moscow's move as a "brave decision."

The diplomatic milestone occurred during Thursday's meeting between Muttaqi and Russian Ambassador Dmitry Zhirnov in Kabul, where Zhirnov officially transmitted his government's recognition of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Muttaqi characterized the development as marking "a new phase of positive relations, mutual respect, and constructive engagement," emphasizing that this precedent would serve as an "example" for other nations to follow.

We can only imagine what Russia under Putin and anybody else as repugnant as him have in store for the "motherland" after a caliphate takes over in the future, when their population becomes more Muslim to boot. Now, Ukraine isn't perfect and Volodymyr Zelenskyy has questionable positions of his own, but even Ukraine's never shown they're as bad as Russia's now proving to be under Putin.

This is certainly also different from the 1970s-80s when Russia was ostensibly fighting against jihadists in countries like Afghanistan. Then again, a century ago under Josef Stalin, they did appease regions like Azerbaijan when it came to the area of Arsakh, all at Armenia's expense.

Colonel Richard Kemp says Israel is capable of destroying the Fordow nuclear center in Iran

Former UK military commander Richard Kemp was interviewed by Israel National News, and he spoke about the serious importance of defeating the nuclear laboratory in Iran's Fordow region:

Col. Kemp praised Israel's accomplishments in Iran since the operation began early Friday morning. "Israel has achieved strategically important success in a very short time. The elimination of so many members of Iran’s military hierarchy is a devastating blow that will leave the regime reeling. It will be very hard or impossible to replace their expertise any time soon. The same goes for the elimination of the nuclear scientists. It seems Israel has severely diminished offensive weapons capability, including knocking out at least one-third of its ballistic missile launchers. The Director General of the IAEA assesses all 15,000 centrifuges at Natanz have been severely damaged or destroyed in air strikes."

He believes that it was necessary for Israel to strike Iran's nuclear facilities when it did. "Before the war began, Israel had received intelligence confirming Iran had commenced weaponisation of highly enriched uranium, a new step. At the same time, the IAEA confirmed Iran had enough 60% enriched uranium for 10 or so bombs and that could be further enriched to weapons grade within 2 weeks. That made a military strike essential. Imagine if just one of Iran’s ballistic missiles that have been fired into Israel had a nuclear warhead. Potentially huge numbers killed. That’s why this operation was necessary, not just for Israel but for the region and the world. [...]

When asked about the Fordow nuclear facility, believed to be the most difficult of Iran's nuclear facilities to strike because of its location beneath a mountain, he responded that, "The Israeli National Security Adviser has said Fordow can be dealt with by Israel alone. As a minimum, Israel can inflict significant damage to this facility and perhaps knock it out completely using its own capabilities."

We must definitely hope it can be done. As Kemp also notes, Iran's totalitarian regime poses a threat to the rest of the world too, and in the past, they'd attacked targets in Argentina. This is exactly why it's time to bring down their regime, and if it takes a whole shipload of bunker buster bombs to destroy Fordow, so be it. Even that mountain region laboratory of death cannot be allowed to stand.

John Daniel Davidson's wrong about how the USA should deal with middle eastern issues

One of The Federalist's leading editors, John Daniel Davidson, has written a very sloppy and concerning take on Donald Trump's trip to Saudi Arabia, one that sounds like he doesn't think the USA should promote and demand civilized values in the middle east:

Not only did Trump lambast neocon “nation-building” in the region, he more or less vowed never to pursue the kinds of neocon misadventures that spilt American blood and treasure over the past 25 years in the insane pursuit of creating western liberal democracies in the Middle East.

In stark and unmistakable terms, the president reminded the world of the abject failure of decades of neocon and liberal interventionist U.S. foreign policy under both Democrat and Republican leadership. He specifically called out the trillions of U.S. tax dollars wasted in a totally unsuccessful attempt to turn Iraq and Afghanistan into western-style democracies as part of the global war on terror.

“In the end, the so-called ‘nation-builders’ wrecked far more nations than they built — and the interventionists were intervening in complex societies that they did not even understand themselves,” Trump said. “The gleaming marvels of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi were not created by the so-called nation-builders, neocons, or liberal non-profits like those who spent trillions failing to develop Kabul and Baghdad.”

Ahem. If we take Afghanistan as an example, they didn't even try to do that, and most importantly, refused to wean the country off of the Islamic religion. How does Mr. Davidson expect there to be any long range peace and quiet if there's a dominant ideology that leads to a boomerang effect, where years later, they can, much like a "sleeper agent", go right back to old and dirty tricks?

In other words, Trump’s vision of American foreign policy isn’t driven by a zeal to remake the world into some version of a liberal western democracy. In Riyadh, he was saying that Saudi Arabia and the other Arab states can just be Islamic monarchies, and as long as they present no threat to American interests, and as long as they promote peace and stability, then we can do business with them.

Well, this is telling something. So it's okay if Islam continues to govern such countries - and additionally chilling, if it ends up dominating Europe and the USA - so long as it supposedly doesn't affect the USA? Also, what's this about a "liberal" western democracy? Why not a conservative western democracy? This has got to be another chilling flaw in Mr. Davidson's argument. Something only somebody who doesn't value foreign lives as much as local ones could possibly write. He later says, very insultingly:

Critics will simply repeat platitudes like we fight them over there so we don’t have to fight them here, or that a world of liberal democracies is in the American interest. Maybe that’s true in theory, but in practice it amounts to a carte blanche to intervene anywhere in the world for any reason. What’s more, no one seriously believes that America has the ability or competence to plant stable democracies in Africa or Asia — or anywhere, for that matter. The reason for this is simple: stable democracies cannot be planted by any outside power, no matter how rich and powerful. They have to grow organically and domestically from the people themselves. We can applaud emergent democracies, we can do business with them, but there is precious little we can do to guarantee them, much less build them in the first place.

And not every nation has to be a democracy. The great lie of the Bush-era war on terror was that all people yearn for freedom and democracy. No they don’t. Some yearn much more for justice, or righteousness, or simply revenge. Some will be hereditary monarchies, or Islamic caliphates, or any number of other things. That’s fine. We shouldn’t be troubled by our differences with other nations, so long as they don’t threaten us. The idea that we could turn Afghanistan into a modern democratic state was perhaps the greatest delusion of the past quarter-century. As Trump said on Tuesday, “I am willing to end past conflicts and forge new partnerships for a better and more stable world, even if our differences may be very profound.”

Ahem. Maybe democracy isn't what every nation need be, but should any nation be a spot where barbarism, misogyny and racism can reign? Absolutely not. And it's unacceptable that any country have totalitarians savaging their own subjects. Similar points can be made about communism. Davidson's argument is defeatist in that it additionally refuses to recognize that indoctrination to evil is another grave wrong that can't go unopposed. And it goes without saying that said indoctrination is what's led to "honor murders" by Islamofascists. And it's insulting to Americans' intellects to say the USA doesn't have the ability to establish sturdy democracies on continents like Africa and Asia. By that logic, they didn't have what it took to tame Germany and Japan either.

And Adam Johnston isn't doing much better with his claim the USA shouldn't go to war with Iran, which has some strange descriptions of certain commentary figures:

Meanwhile, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is under fire from neocons after she recently testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee “that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has not authorized [restarting] the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003.”

This caused neoconservative media personality Mark Levin and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley to push back on Gabbard, both sharing an op-ed from former John Bolton Chief of Staff Fred Fleitz, who called the intelligence reports referenced by Gabbard “stupid intelligence.”

I can't currently recall Levin ever being described before as a "neocon". Is this some kind of absurd propaganda to undermine those who believe force is the only true way to defeat savage evil? And are the lives of innocent women in Iran persecuted for not dressing in abayas worthless? Well that's what Johnston runs the gauntlet of implying, and that's no improvement over Davidson's approach. Maybe the war in Iraq was unnecessary, but that's only if you fail to get rid of the Islamist indoctrination that since became more prevalent there. Same can be said about Iran. Are we to assume Johnston and Davidson also believe Lebanon should remain in the clutches of the Islamists too?

Yet under the growing influence of the more nationalist and non-interventionist America First movement, this longstanding alliance is beginning to fracture. A new generation of right-wing leaders — figures who are notably more realist and restraint-oriented, and less reflexively pro-Israel, such as Vice President J.D. Vance, Elbridge Colby, and influential media figures like Tucker Carlson — are questioning endless American interventionism in the Middle East and whether U.S. interests are always best served by unconditional support for Israel.

Wow, with this kind of mentality, we'd never have won WW2, let alone WW1. Interesting Carlson comes up in discussion here, because he's regrettably proven negative to Israel, and that's not good. Also, what's so wrong with being "hawkish"? Does that mean that when a left-winger is "dovish" that's a great thing? Forget it, these propagandists have gone too far, and the Federalist's just proven a most embarrassingly bad publication with this embarrassment.

Now in more news related to Trump's recent Saudi Arabia conference, Christine Williams has addressed the issue, and points to serious info on what crimes al-Sharaa's organization has done:

A MEMRI article entitled, “Qatar Continues To Finance Terror With U.S. Consent: Will Fund Syria’s New Regime, Led By HTS Terror Organization, Just As It Funded Hamas,” examined the terrorist history of Syrian leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani, who reverted to his original name Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa, to create a false impression that he had changed, even though he remains dedicated to the jihadist cause, ie. to establish the Sharia.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) “was established in 2012 by Al-Sharaa (then known as Al-Joulani) at the behest of Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, who would soon become the founder of ISIS. In 2013 the group became the official branch of Al-Qaeda in Syria after Al-Joulani broke with Al-Baghdadi and swore allegiance to Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri.”

Al-Sharaa’s followers have slaughtered Christians, Alawites and Druze since toppling Al-Assad.

The MEMRI article also exposes the modus operandi of Qatar, “the world’s greatest financer of extremist Islamist elements such as the Muslims Brotherhood and jihadi terror organizations.”

[...] The fall of the al-Assad Syrian regime was bad news for its staunch ally, Iran, which was good news to America and Israel. But like the mujahideen of Afghanistan, Al-Sharaa is no friend to America and Israel, and neither is Qatar. In December, Qatar “rushed to position itself as a pivotal player in shaping Syria’s future” after the fall of al-Assad. Qatar was hand in hand with “its closest regional partner,” Turkey, which was responsible for facilitating and backing al-Sharaa before and after al-Assad’s fall.

Now al-Sharaa is making significant inroads, as his leadership is legitimized by Muslim Brotherhood-supporting Qatar (and Turkey), with new US support to boot.

Seriously, it's very sad and regrettable it's come to this, because not only does it not help Israel, it also does not help any innocent Druze, Kurds and Yazidis in the area. Williams does note though:

One thing for certain is that Trump inherited Joe Biden’s complete betrayal of American interests, both domestically and abroad. Biden left open borders, poured billions into the coffers of Iran, left billions of dollars worth of state-of-the-art military equipment in Afghanistan for free use by the Taliban, and virtually factored America out of the equation of any global influence. Biden left Trump to contend with a nuclear threshold Iran and a turbulent Middle East that saw America under the declining Biden as nothing more than a joke.

It’s also no secret that Qatar has been buying out American campuses, where pro-Hamas, intimidating protests proliferated, with little to no intervention by the campus administration.

The picture looks grim. But one needs to remember that Trump, not Biden, cracked down on campus antisemitism, which was disguised as “free speech” when it was really a promotion of jihad terror against Israel and Jews.

Yes, but that doesn't mean Trump should allow jihadism to gain footholds even abroad. As some conservatives may realize, the day will come when right-wingers will have no choice but to do battle overseas if that's what it takes to ensure future generations of decent folk everywhere will have a future. Let's also consider that Iran may not be the only Islamic regime with nuclear research in store.

Of course, the cautionary tale of the mujahideen in Afghanistan should be remembered. However, considering Trump’s past policies of protecting American borders from the worst criminals and jihadists, as well as his reinstatement of the travel ban on Muslim-majority countries of concern, it makes little sense to assume without further evidence that he would betray America to the jihadist cause. Let’s hope there is a method (and long-term results) to the madness — as appears to be the case even at this point. In the meantime, expect the inevitable media circus as America continues to emerge from disastrous, nightmarish Democrat rule.

Certainly it's important to protect USA borders, and to back Israel, but that doesn't mean we should turn our backs on any innocent souls in Islamic regimes who should be liberated from the Religion of Peace's tyranny. And even communist regimes are a bad omen. Mainly because of how they're more than perfectly willing to do business with the Religion of Peace, and maybe even sell out their countries to Islam in the end. Interestingly enough, Trump's deal with al-Sharaa in Syria doesn't seem to have met any opposition or complaints from the Democrats. Surely that's not telling something?

Then, here's some more observations about Trump's gamble on Syria:

“Obviously, it is a bit of a gamble,” Trita Parsi, executive vice president of the Quincy Institute, told the DCNF. “If you take a look at historical cases in which an entity has been on a terrorist list and then has transitioned towards becoming more acceptable as they become a political party or take over a country, whether it’s the [African National Congress], the [Irish Republican Army], or the [Palestinian Liberation Organization], it’s nevertheless been a process with specific demands and time in order to make sure that this is not just a temporary change of heart.”

What it really is, is taqqiya (deception). And vehement refusal by the PLO to abandon Islam only worsens the matter.

Al-Sharaa has attempted to distance himself from his jihadist past, but HTS still retains the salafist jihadist interpretation of Islam that al-Qaeda espouses, with the latter viewing HTS as traitorous.

Point: if we take the case of Egypt's past autocrat Anwar Sadat as an example, there are jihadists who won't accept that he pulled an act of deception of his own on Israel, and that's how Sadat was slain a few years after the Camp David accords. So it's no surprise if al-Qaeda doesn't accept al-Sharaa's own acts of deception regardless of his intentions. Either way, both al Qaeda and al-Sharaa are bad news, and nobody should have to make a choice between either.

More important information comes from Dr. Yehuda Balanga:

Last Wednesday, US President Donald Trump met with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa (al-Julani). It appears Trump chose to ignore the fact that until that meeting, al-Sharaa had been a wanted terrorist in the eyes of the Americans. Overnight, he became wanted in Washington under very different circumstances. "A young and attractive guy," Trump said of al-Sharaa. "A tough guy with a strong background. A very strong background. A fighter." Notably, the American president failed to mention that this "fighter" he praised led a Sunni Islamist-jihadist organization that persecuted and killed men, women, and children during the Syrian civil war solely because of their religious beliefs or political affiliations. [...]

To date, no Islamist movement that seized power has ever abandoned its ideology. Quite the contrary - every past success has emboldened a wider Islamist surge. This was true in Iran after the 1979 revolution, and again after the Arab Spring, when Islamist movements, many tied to the Muslim Brotherhood, rose to power in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, and now Syria. Given al-Sharaa's past in al-Qaida and Islamic State, a shift in worldview seems unlikely.

See, this is exactly what may be overlooked in this whole concerning development. Do MAGA supporters and America Firsters intend to let this go without public comment?

Anyway, after discovering what the above writers/editors for the Federalist were using for apologia, I decided I'd had enough, and the time had come to remove them from my side menu. Even the Daily Caller so far hasn't written anything that foolish, which is amazing considering Carlson was one of their co-founders. The Federalist had turned out some very tasteless, disturbing and divisive op-eds before, and these latest are only compounding a very embarrassingly bad situation. We could decidedly do without their shoddy "opinions".

Juliette Binoche destroys whatever points she was trying to make with the Gerard Depardieu case by wearing an Islamic veil

Giulio Meotti reports that the French actress Juliette Binoche wore an Islamic veil to Cannes, which a man as vile as Gerard Depardieu couldn't possibly care less about:

The president of this year's Cannes Film Festival is Juliette Binoche, a splendid actress but also an incorrigible left-wing bobo militant of beat environmentalism. She showed up with a strange veil on her head at Cannes. Perhaps a glamorous hijab? A winking half-veil? A chic white chador? In any case, she looked like a sort of Islamically correct Madonna.

It's easy to be a leftist when you're swimming in millions and risk nothing on the Rive Gauche (Left Bank of the Seine, Paris,ed.). But courage is taking off your veil in Kabul (where the Taliban whip women in public) and Tehran (where the Mullahs whip women in prison), not putting one on in front of an assembly of artists and billionaires who gorge themselves on caviar while talking about “sustainability”.

Two years ago, an actress first showed up veiled at Cannes and the feminists applauded in the name of “inclusion” and the usual banal political correctness. Certainly no one expected to hear words spoken from the stage by Zahra Amir Ebrahimi, the Iranian actress who won the award for best actress at Cannes for her role in the film Holy Spider by director Ali Abbasi. Ebrahimi said that “women are oppressed in Afghanistan, Iran, Mali and…. in the Parisian suburbs”.

Yes, you should ask the Algerian poet and writer Kamel Bencheikh, who reports what happened to her daughter in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. “Around 11 p.m., my daughter Élise was waiting for the bus line 60 with a friend, at the Botzaris stop near the Buttes-Chaumont park. When it arrived, the driver stopped, looked at them and drove off without opening the doors.” The driver told Bencheikh’s daughter, who was wearing a miniskirt: “Think about dressing properly.”

And this unfortunate young lady, I'm guessing, is exactly the kind of person Binoche doesn't want to defend. It's shameful, and additionally contradicts her alleged distaste for Gerard Depardieu. As a result, Binoche's commentary on the issue collapses, and it's going to be difficult watching her films for quite a while, much like Depardieu's. This also makes clear what a shambles Cannes really is.

British village's quiet ruined by Muslim migrants housed at local hotel

The UK's dhimmitude for Muslim migrants continues apace, with the village of Datchet the latest victim of the Muslim migration tragedy (via Jihad Watch):

A four-star hotel in the picture postcard village of Datchet near Windsor has opened its doors to asylum seekers who allegedly scream “Allah, Allah” and “Muslim is good” at locals. Residents claim the migrants are committing acts of racism and theft after being put up in the Manor Hotel at taxpayers’ expense.

A local shopkeeper, Abhi, 24, who came to the UK years ago from India, claims some of the asylum seekers from Pakistan and Afghanistan abuse him while he works. He told The Times: “They abuse me because I’m from India and I’m Hindu. “They come in and shout ‘Muslim is good, Allah Allah’. They come in and say, ‘Indians are not good, f*** Hinduism’. It’s f***ing bad. They’re always coming in, taking food, [they] don’t pay. I personally hate it.”

The “boutique” 54-room hotel sits in the centre of the village, just a ten-minute stroll from Prince William and Princess Kate’s Adelaide Cottage.

It was one of six additional hotels being used to accommodate asylum seekers since Labour formed a government in July 2024. That’s despite the Prime Minister’s pledge to “smash the people smuggling gangs” that ferry migrants across the English Channel. More than 38,000 are in hotels across the country at a cost of £5.5 million per day.

To make matters worse for Labour, 6,796 migrants have crossed the Channel this year, the most since records began in 2018.

Irene Husbands, 91, had her wedding reception at the hotel in 1962 but said asylum seekers being housed there tarnishes the memory.

She said: “Nobody’s happy around here.

“It shouldn’t be allowed. The hotel’s making a nice lot of money, aren’t they, because the government pays them.”

The worst part is, they're paying with the taxpayer's money, as was noted. And now, a village that may have once been a quiet neighborhood is paying a terrible price.

Minister for diaspora affairs says Muslim migration in Europe is main source of antisemitism now

Also the main source of sexual violence on the continent. Here's what Amichai Chikli says about both the hostage situation and Europe's own crisis:

Chikli linked the rise in antisemitism in Western European countries with their failure to combat rising Islamist violence as a result of mass immigration.

"Antisemitism is a growing problem in Europe due to Muslim immigration,” he said. “The European right wing parties have a point, because they realise the problem and are presenting a solution.

"They understand the challenge of radical Islam and they are willing to take the necessary steps. So many countries have it completely wrong. Look at the UK, for example, I'm not sure that what is happening there is reversable. These countries need to get a hold of the problem."

According to Chikli, figures like Marine Le-Pen in France proved their support for Israel by participating in pro-Israel events and promising not to enable legislation that could block Kosher slaughter.

Chikli was asked whether he was concerned that the erosion of democracy in Europe, characterized among others by xenophobia and Islamophobia, would eventually lead to a threat against Jews. The minister responded that he did not believe there to be a problem of islamophobia since there was a “very good reason to worry” about the rise of Islamism in Europe.

Chikli expressed support for immigration policies in Hungary and Poland, as examples of places where Jews can walk around freely. The comment drew murmurs from the crowd, with one person claiming that Hungary had a fascist government.

Chikli also warned against the spread of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria via its new regime, which is backed by Turkey. Erdogan and Turkey had the “exact same ideology” as Hamas, and therefore the Syrian front was one Israel should be concerned about.

Hugh Fitzgerald followed up on the news, and notes:

Chikli is deeply suspicious of Abu Muhammad Al-Julani, Syria’s de facto ruler, and of the rebel group he headed, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. Al-Julani claims that he years ago broke all his ties to Al-Qaeda and ISIS, and is now intent on rebuilding the broken nation-state of Syria, not in furthering a pan-Islamic caliphate. But the schoolbooks just adopted in Syria contain worrisome changes in their texts, that stress Islamic themes and anti-Israel propaganda.

As some people were rightly worried, the current Syrian autocrat is another example of going from bad to worse, and cannot be recognized as a valid politician.

Afghan infiltrator committed terrorist attack in Munich

Just shortly before a planned security conference in Germany, an Afghan jihadist committed a terrorist attack with a car:

The driver behind the car-ramming attack in Munich that left more than 30 people injured appears to have had an “Islamist motivation” authorities said Friday.

They qualified the observation by claiming there’s no evidence the suspect – named locally as 24-year-old Farhad N – was involved with any radical network, rather he appeared to be a lone terror operative.

As Breitbart News reported, the 24-year-old Afghan, who arrived in Germany as an asylum-seeker in 2016 and lived in Munich, was arrested after sending his Mini Cooper careering into the back of a labor union demonstration in the Bavarian city on Thursday.

Farhad N previously had his asylum application rejected but his deportation was suspended.

Police officers pulled him out of the car after firing a shot at the vehicle, which didn’t hit him, and arrested him.

AP reports prosecutor Gabriele Tilmann said the suspect cried “Allahu Akbar,” or “God is great,” to police and then prayed after his arrest — which prompted a department that investigates extremism and terror to take on the case immediately.

In questioning, the perpetrator admitted deliberately driving into the demonstration and “gave an explanation that I would summarize as religious motivation,” Tilmann said.

Tragically, what's been revealed will surely be swept under the rug by the Orwellian crowd, and the German authorities never deported him as he should've been a number of years ago. We can only hope all diplomats who care will attend the security conference and address this issue.

Jimmy Carter passes away at 100

One of the worst presidents in USA history has passed away at the age of a century:

Former US President Jimmy Carter passed away on Sunday at the age of 100.

Carter’s son, Chip, said his father died in his home in Plains, Georgia. The former president entered home hospice care in February of 2023 after a series of short hospital stays.

He was the first US President to reach his 100th birthday.

Carter served as the 39th President of the United States from 1977 to 1981. During his one term in office, he facilitated the 1979 peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, the first peace agreement signed between Israel and an Arab country.

In recent years, Carter had made controversial statements related to Israel. In 2013, he called on the European Union (EU) to label products coming from "illegal Israeli settlements".

In May of 2014, the former President supported the Palestine Liberation Organization's (PLO) unilateral push to join international organizations in breach of the ongoing peace talks with Israel.

In 2015, Carter painted a bleak picture of the prospects for peace between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) while placing the blame for the deadlock on Israel.

“At this moment, there is zero chance of the two-state solution. These are the worst prospects for peace between Israel and the Palestinians for years,” he said at the time, and then proceeded to say he didn’t think that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu “has any intention” of making progress towards the goal.

“The Netanyahu government decided early on to adopt a one-state solution, but without giving them [the Palestinians] equal rights,” he charged.

Rosalynn Carter, Jimmy Carter’s wife of 77 years, died in November 2023. They are survived by their children Amy, Chip, Jack and Jeff, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

This is all stuff that the MSM won't look over objectively, and as noted here, the MSM's gone out of their way to rewrite history in his favor. Carter, alas, was a huge embarrassment, and did nothing positive for Israel, as the above news indicates.
